"Details."
"Every single detail."
My friends threw random questions at me, their eyes looking as curious as ever. I sighed in annoyance. The History teacher barely left the class before my friends attacked me like the fucking paparazzi. Obviously, I'm not the kind of guy that likes attention or anything related to being on the spotlight.
"Guys, go slowly." It seems like only my sister fathom me. "He can't just cast his pearl before swine."
"What's between Daisy and I is just friendship."
I wasn't taken aback when they gasped in surprise. It was impossible for them to swallow my friendship with Daisy. Daisy and I are two opposite people.
"And you think we're going to believe you? Do you think we're as dumb as a rock?" Shawn was frustrated.
"Friendship with the bad girl? As in friends with benefits, right?"
"Eric, stop!" I drop the bag I was holding and stare at them. "There's nothing going on between Daisy and I."
"Then why were you with her?" Leslie fired back.
"She needs help with her studies and I promised to be her tutor. We're just friends, okay?" It was partially true actually except the fact that Daisy is not a friend. Maybe a baby mama would be suitable.
"I thought despite for studying is a natural trait of a bad girl. Is Candy changing? I've noticed a lot of evolutions in her." Maya said in curiosity.
"I think the best thing you can do is to kindly introduce her to us." Eric, the president of the talkative club cheerfully stated.
I rolled my eyes as I walked out of the class. I can't take anymore questions. I have to pick Eden from school before football practice roll in.
"Maya, you coming with me?"
She hesitated before she replies "Amm... No. I'll stay at Leslie's for a makeup tutorial video."
Being a beauty guru has always being Maya's dreams. She post daily makeup tutorials on her YouTube channel to help guide others in makeup stuff. She actually makes profit from her YouTube videos and sponsored social media posts. I'm proud of my sister for achieving her goals at a young age. Meanwhile, I work as a part time pizza boy. Complete opposite, right?
"I'll go find some chick to bang before the practice. See yer."
Shawn and I couldn't be more irritated by our best friend's cocky attitude.
"I guess I'll see you later."

"One scoop of vanilla and two scoops of chocolate ice cream please," Eden smartly said, her eyes wide as saucers as she stares at mouthwatering ice creams arranged in the transparent freezer.
I was supposed to buy ice cream for her a few days ago but due to the circumstance that happened that day, I was unable to. I promised to take her to the Ice Villa, a popular ice cream parlour to buy her all she wants. Here we are, Eden fangirling about ice cream, leaving me to hold a plastic bag of twenty different chocolates.
"Eden, I can't buy anymore chocolate or whatever stuff. I spent fifty dollars already. We have to go," I complained. Whenever I took her out to the ice cream or candy store, she turned into a bull chasing after a red flag.
"That's your punishment for breaking your promise." She shot back. The ice cream man hands her the container, the ice cream safely tucked inside. She prefers a container than a biscuit cone.
"Thanks!" She squealed like a stuck pig, jumping up and down excitedly. A few heads turned our way and I couldn't be more embarrassed.
After I paid, we chose a table and settled down. Eden is happily eating away her ice cream. Meanwhile, I debated whether to call Daisy to check on the welfare of the baby or not. I haven't seen, or heard from her since our visit to the doctor. I can't believe I have become so attached to the baby in just three days. My top priority is the safety of my baby.
Most guys would have run away if they were placed in the same position without glancing back because they feel like they're too young to take responsibility. My parents taught me the most distinctive lesson one should know about life; you are responsible of your actions no matter what anyone else does.
"What are you going to do with these?" I shoved the plastic bag towards her.
She looks up from her half eaten ice cream. "Eat it while watching a rerun of descendants or Liv and Maddie."
I furrowed my eyebrows at her, "what the heck is that?"
"You've never watch any Dove Cameron's movie or TV shows?"
She didn't introduce herself but the seraphic voice of Jenna Coleman is undisputable. I whirled around to find her smiling broadly, still glowing in her matching red shirt and long skirt and also holding a plastic bag.
"Jenna?" I asked in amusement. I wasn't expecting her to be here. My reason is because I've never seen her here even though I'm a regular customer, thanks to Eden.
"Hi. What a coincidence!" She shrieked awkwardly. What do you do when you meet a classmate you hardly speak with in the ice cream parlour? Probably what's going on in her head.
"Do you guys know each other?" Eden, the savior asked.
"Yeah." I replied before I casually point at Eden. "This is Eden, my sister. Eden, this is Jenna, a classmate."
"Hi!" Eden waved at Jenna with the sweetest smile.
"Hey, Eden. Nice to meet you." Her face seemed relaxed than usual. Her eyes glistened with adoration as she stared at Eden. They strikingly look similar in their nerdy looks and the wide smiles plastered on their angelic faces.
"Would you mind joining us?" I offered. I have not the foggiest idea whether she's here with someone or about to leave.
She seemed skeptical at first but gave in. "Sure" She sat across me and dropped her plastic bag on top of the round table.
"Why don't you let me buy a few scoops of ice cream for you too? It would be an honor for me to." I reasoned for a short period of time but came up with this great idea. It's obvious she likes ice cream from the way her eyes widen like a kid in a candy store. Technically, she is.
"No, you don't have..."
I didn't stop to listen to her. I simply got up and went to the ice cream bar. I ordered one scoop each for a chocolate, vanilla and chocolate chip ice cream. He gave me in a matter of seconds and I paid before returning to the table. Jenna's mouth gasped open when I push the the carton towards her. Eden smirked, her legs dangling as she happily eats her ice cream.
"Zack, you don't have to..." She started to say.
"I've already purchased this. Too bad I can't refund. It's not in my blood."
"It's too much, Zack. I can barely finish a scoop." She complaint, her eyes blatantly staring at the carton.
Eden hissed. "Stop fighting like Tom and Jerry, guys. My brother's just being a gentleman to you. It will be a cold day in hell before my brother willingly buy the long list I have for him."
I rolled my eyes exasperation and exhaled. "Thanks for exposing me." Eden is going to be the death of me. Jenna cackled in delight before diving in to taste her ice cream.
"Is this your first time coming here?" Eden said, her eyes inquisitively assessing Jenna.
"Nope. This is like... My favourite place in Denver. I enjoy coming here which is very often." Jenna replied smartly. Although, she's shy, she's very open-minded. She opens up to people easily.
"Then how comes I never saw you? I'm a regular customer, I always come here with Zack."
"Eden? Why don't you shut your mouth and eat your ice cream peacefully?" This girl would talk a blue streak about random shit. At school, she was as quiet as a mouse but back home, she's as lousy and talkative as a magpie.
"It's really okay," Jenna brushed it off with the flip of a hand. "I usually come at night because I prefer eating my ice cream in a cold night mostly on my bed with a blanket covering me and watching my favourite Disney channel."
"Me too! That's exactly what I want to do today. This reminds me of what you said earlier. Are you also a huge fan of Dove Cameron?"
Jenna's eyes lit up in a way I can never imagine it would. "I am. She's such an inspiration to me!"
As I watch them converse, I can't help but think about my current dilemma. What would have happened if it was Jenna, not Daisy that night of the party? Things would have being a lot more easier because Jenna's more composed and matured. Maybe, she would have being my girlfriend by now. My parents may be disappointed but if it were Jenna, they know she's a little bit more matured at least than a reckless girl whom spent her time smoking and going to parties.
It was apparent Jenna knew nothing about my feelings for her but what would she do if she finds out her notorious sister is pregnant with my child?
Twenty minutes of incessant conversion between the two angels, Jenna's phone pinged, indicating a text message. She silently checks the message before pushing back and chair and standing up. "Unfortunately, my dad is here to pick me up. its really nice meeting you and I hope I'll see you again some day, Eden. Bye Eden, Bye Zack."
"Bye." We chorused together and sadly watch her leave. This moment is as rare as a hen's teeth. Jenna let her walls down and amicably chat with Eden and I. I'm so glad she considers me a friend now.
"Come on, Hudson let's take you back home."
"She's so sweet and kind. I really like her!" Eden excitedly say as we exit the parlor.
I know, it's really hard not to like Jenna. With the most docile attitude and a vivacious personality, nobody can resist falling for her charms.
