Breanne's pov
It once again continues to rain outside. Lightning flashed through the sky, while thunder was rippling through the clouds. For some reason I felt like Sephiroth was the storm. I was hoping he wouldn't be angry with me. It wasn't my fault I couldn't take the pain. Suddenly I stood up hearing a noise in the shadows. I couldn't walk or I would just fall right over. I heard the sound again.
"What are you doing here? Have you ever learned not to intrude in someones home?..." I heard that smooth voice. It made my heart beat a thousand miles an hour. I was speechless.
"Leave now, or their will be consequences...." His voice echoed through the room, as he was hidden somewhere. I stood there for a second thinking about what to say to him.
"No. I won't leave, not again." I whispered the last sentence. Sephiroth slowly rounded the corner and entered the room. He glared at me seeing that I was someone different.
"Are you just another one of Shinra's pets, that he sent over, to lure me out?" He asked, growling at Shinra's name.
"No. I am not-" A small yelp came out of my throat as he came at me with lighting speed, and slammed me against the nearest wall.
"All...lies." He growled. He looked super angry, depressed, and sad, all at the same time. There had to be a reason to this.
"Please Sephiroth, let me explain...." I felt his fist tighten my wind pipe a bit. The next wrong move and my pipe will be snapped.
"I warned you there would be consequences...." He growled again. I looked into his mako green eyes, his eyes showed that he was upset. Pain.
"Now. Why are you here?" He asked.
"Sephiroth...This isn't you!-" I yelped again feeling myself get slammed against another wall. His body firmly holding me into place.
"Answer the question..." He gritted his teeth. So this was the beast side he was hiding... I stayed quiet for a sec.
"I am starting to think you like being slammed against things..." He grinned. I couldn't help but feel hot all of a sudden, with my cheeks getting pink.
"Sephiroth. It's me, Breanne..." I tried to get him to loosen his grip on my throat.
"How do you know her name?!" He yelled.
"Because I am Breanne...." I whispered to him. His grip loosen, and his eyes soften.
"How do I believe you? She left 3 months ago....." His voice than became a whisper.
"Sephiroth.... I didn't come back because I went into a coma by Shinra...." I felt tears build up in my eyes and they already started to spill.
"I....am so sorry....I am so sorry Sephiroth....I should have listened to you...." The spit bubbled in my throat and the tears were already starting to spill. My knees buckled under me and I fell, not being able to stand any longer. But before I fell to the floor fully. Sephiroth caught me an sat down on the floor as well, placing me on his lap.
"Breanne? It really is you!" Sephiroth whispered.
"How my blasted anger blinds me." Sephiroth mumbled.
"What happened?" Sephiroth asked.
"I went back with Shinra....to the labs....And he!" I felt the hot tears not stopping as I hiccuped. He wrapped his strong arms around me and the words just couldn't come out.
Sephiroth's pov
8 minutes earlier
I knew the puppet was here. But I also sensed that someone familiar was here. I hung around the top of the staircase, waiting for him to leave. Once he left I crept down the steps and started talking.
"What are you doing here? Have you ever learned not to intrude in someones home?..." I asked making my way closer to the living space. I could sense fear in this individual. That's how it should be when you intrude someones home.
"Leave now, or their will be consequences...." I warned, hiding around the corner.
"No. I won't leave, not again." I heard them whisper. I finally rounded the corner and entered the room seeing an unusual girl there. Silver long hair, it was nearly as long as mine. Sea Aquamarine eyes, and some kind of clothing, that had Shinra electrical logo on it, and the words 'Project: B' on it.
"Are you just another one of Shinra's pets, that he sent over, to lure me out?" I growled at that pests name, I knew he sent this girl over to lure me out, I won't let the snake bite me twice.
"No. I am not-" I was tired of this. I quickly used one of my ability's and slammed her against the wall. Her feet left the ground as I was slightly choking her.
"All...lies." I growled.
"Please Sephiroth, let me explain...." She yelped, trying to get out of my grasp.
"I warned you there would be consequences...." I looked into her glossy eyes.
"Now. Why are you here?" I asked, getting very impatient with this girl. She wouldn't answer so I thought of something.
"Sephiroth...This isn't you!-" I then slammed her to the nest wall, letting her feet touch the floor. I was upset at the fact women keep doing this to me.
"I am starting to think you like being slammed against things..." I grinned, throwing her off guard. Is it me or did I just see her turning red?
"Sephiroth. It's me, Breanne..." I kinda let my guard down.
"How do you know her name?!" I yelled. Her mentioning that name brought me pain, pain to think she cared about me then left.
"Because I am Breanne...." Her words were soft. Wait how can this be? She has similar features to her but is she, Breanne?!
"How do I believe you? She left 3 months ago....." I whispered, trying not to show my emotions.
"Sephiroth.... I didn't come back because I went into a coma by Shinra...." She started to suddenly cry. Curse woman and there fricken crying! Her next words caught me off guard.
"I....am so sorry....I am so sorry Sephiroth....I should have listened to you...." Her knees suddenly buckled under her and she fell. I caught her in time. How blind I was all this time. I pulled her into my lap. Curse me and my ignorance.
"Breanne? It really is you!" I whispered.
"How my blasted anger blinds me." I mumbled, feeling angry that I hurt her again.
"What happened?" Was my next question.
"I went back with Shinra....to the labs....And he!" She stopped and started to really cry, she hiccuped at one point. I felt pain in my heart to see: Breanne crying. She was fragile. I swear if he did something- I am going to kill him.
Her body started to shiver. I then wrapped my arms around her small form. I stroked the back of her head in a soothing matter. I kept hushing her.
"Can you walk?" I asked.
"No. They.....they.....He!-" She started to cry again. I then kept hushing her.
"It's alright....You don't need to explain anymore....I will figure a way to help you walk again...." I whispered near her ear. I pulled her real close, and cradled her body in my arms. I kept trying to make her calm down, until I heard soft breathing. Her head leaded against my chest. She fell asleep in my arms. She was so fragile, compared to me. I am afraid I might crush her, so I was extra gentle with her. I stood up carrying her up to that same room where she cried in. I placed her under the covers and sat right beside her, waiting for her to wake up, and me trying to think of a way to help her walk again.
I felt that urge that I didn't want to leave her. I wanted to protect her, kill anything that wants to touch her. My fist tightened, my fist was rested on my knee. I sat upwards, next to her curled up form that was now asleep. I wanted to help her in
anyway I could.
I got up and started plotting an idea that just went to my head. I was going to get myself cleaned up and to try to find a new pair of cloths while I'm at it.

That evening, Breanne's pov
I woke up after a long sleep, I realised it was night time. I fluttered my eyes open seeing the moon peak through the curtains. I wondered where Sephiroth was? I rolled to the other side of me, feeling like a crashed into a brick wall. I rubbed my head slightly from my head hitting what ever it was.
Then I noticed Silver hair. My chest started to flutter it was Sephiroth. It made me happy to see him asleep. He looked peaceful, while he slept.
"I see your now awake." His deep voice said making my stomach flutter a lot. My cheeks started to burn when bright intoxicating eyes opened, even his eyes sparkled.
"How did you know?" I questioned in a hushed tone, hiding the smile.
"I can hear many things, don't think I am a fool. I know when someone is awake by if it's too silent in the room." Sephiroth answered. Sephiroth layed on his side, staring into my eyes.
"Exellent point, though Sephiroth, you are the one who really makes the room silent." Sephiroth laughed at my comment.
"I know how I'm going to get you to walk."
"Wait, how?!" I questioned, sitting up quickly. Sephiroth did the same. He yawned then answered.
"Vincent dropped by this morning with his wife. They brought you something that they made, to get you to walk." Sephroth answered. He pushed the covers off himself. I noticed he was in different clothing and he looked so much cleaner.
He opened a drawer and pulled out two pieces of thin metal. "Just press the button when you put these to the back of your legs." He suggested taking a seat at the end of the bed. I nodded and pushed the covers to the side, where I was sitting on the side. He passed them over. I placed them where my hip was, and the bottom went to my ankle.
"When ready." Sephiroth commented quietly. I didn't know what was going to happen if I clicked the button.
I placed both identical to the other. Then pressed the button. The metal wrapped around my knees and extended down my leg. Then pressure came making me yelp. Two crack sounds could be heard. Then a glowing green colour came from them. I knew it was healing materia that was forged within the steel.
I slowly took a step up feeling wobbly. Suddenly I lost my balance, my form crashed into the nightsand. But within seconds Sephiroth held my sides.
"Take it easy." He rolled his eyes, where I laughed.
"Sorry...Tell Vincent and his girl, thank you-"
"Can't you tell them yourselves since Cloud dropped by this afternoon." He raised his eyebrow. No wonder Cloud was reacting funny.
"Now for the easy part and some fun." Sephiroth grinned, helping me up.
"Sephiroth? What is the meaning of fun? I never knew you liked to have fun." I joked making him chuckle.
"It's been a while, kil-"
I raised an eyebrow "You were going to finish your sentence." I sang to him.
"Killing time is fun, I was going to say. I was unsure how you would think if I said 'kill.'" I nodded with a smile. Even if Sephiroth did something horrible. I never thought of him as a monster.
He helped me down the hallway, but we took a turn into a different hallway that I never seen before.
We took it slow down the hallway. He was gentle with an arm snaked around my waist but in a respectful matter.
We suddenly came to a halt, he stopped at a pair of beautiful white and gold doors.
He pushed the doors open. My eyes were amazed and the huge room with beautiful marble ball room floor. There was even a huge sky light that the moon lit up the room brightly. I was in awe.
"What are we exactly doing here?" I questioned with a smile on my face.
"What do you think? You owe me a dance, since I saved your ass out there from the Shadow Creepers." He said, making me smile even more.
"Um...Sephiroth."
"Hm?" He answered with a sound.
"I don't know how to dance." He laughed.
"That doesn't matter, the man leads the dance anyways." Sephiroth answered, he lead me to the middle of the room.
"Place your feet on mine, since they're smaller. Thankfully for you, you are not one of those girls that is wearing heels. Like all woman do, typical." I did as he said, but I seemed very close up to him. I placed a hand on his shoulder and one hand his hand.
Jazzy music was playing the moment we walked in. He started to lead the dance. I couldn't help but to smile, and to stare into his intoxicating eyes. They were mesmerising and sparkly. He was truthfully a beautiful man who had mysteries around him. I felt like he was just misunderstood. He did have that dangerous side about him, but he also had that angel side about him as well. I think I might be able to help him. He was so graceful in his dance. But he was gentle with me as he lead me around the ball room. It was going to take me a bit before my legs fully heal. I closed my eyes and leaned it against his chest. I felt protected, safe, I actually had a home now.
I don't ever want to leave him, not again, not for Midgar, not for Shinra, not for SOLDIER, not for home. For him.
I felt like that was a really cute chapter. Knowing that she is very close to be able to walk again:) Will she stay with him for the rest of her life or will something bad happen? Find out in the next chapter. A special thank you for my co-author for helping me write this chapter. Please leave a comment, a vote, or just drop in and say hi! See ya next time readers!
