Nine weeks pregnant

"Did you know that Peanut is the size of a green olive this week," Christian read out from his phone as he hopped in the car,
"Please don't tell me that you're using the same app Fran used to annoy me," Darcy groaned also feeling slightly weird that Christian was now driving the two,
"My mom made me get it when I told her what happened," Christian smiled being the little mommy's boy that he always was,
"You've already told your parents?" Darcy cocked her head and looked at the american with wide eyes,
"Yea, they were the first people I told. You haven't told your parents yet?" He was incredibly surprised as he thought nine weeks in that she would have said something by now to the future grandparents,
"I just haven't had the time yet, I'm going back to Glasgow for a week so I'll tell them then," Darcy knew that she should tell Christian that neither for her biological parents were alive, but something was just stopping her.

"So is this the father?" Dr Jones asked as Christian sat on the chair next to Darcy,
"Yea, I'm Christian," he smiled as he introduced himself but then got caught up seeing his child on the screen that Darcy turned her glance to him and just smiled,
"What?" Christian turned to the girl as he felt her watching him,
"It's cute seeing you so excited about Peanut," Darcy smiled as there was all of a sudden a faint little heartbeat,
"This is your little Peanut's heart," Dr Jones picked up that the two had come up with a nickname for their child and actually thought that it was sweet.

"I had fun today," Christian smiled as he held Darcy's door open,
"Remind me that if I ever meet your mum that I need to thank her for raising a gentleman," Darcy always praised parents that raised respectful well mannered children who continued it once they move away from their parents,
"You want to meet my parents?" Christian teased her feeing slightly surprised that she had just brought it up,
"Well I mean if you want me to meet your parents then sure," she mumbled feeling warmth rush to her cheeks,
"I think my mom would kill me if I didn't introduce the mother of my child to her," Christian smiled knowing that Darcy was the first person his parents wanted to meet even if the circumstances weren't the best,
"I need to tell you something," Darcy turned to Christian as he conveniently stopped at a red light,
"What's up?" He ended up grabbing her hand which was sitting on the center console,
"So before you pity me, I do have people who have taken me in. Basically I lost both of my parents just over four years ago." Darcy bit her lip as she watched him just process everything that she had said to him,
"I- I'm sorry," Christian tried to say what she would assume was the right thing as he comfortingly rubbed her hand with his thumb,
"Oh no it's fine, I have people who treat me like their daughter," Darcy knew that it wasn't the same but it was the best she could have in this situation.

"So Mason is coming over in a bit and we can tell him then," Christian told her as he looked up from his phone to see that she was standing in front of his mirror,
"Do you think I look big?" Darcy had already gone up a size in jeans so she had converted to wearing sweatpants and dresses all the time,
"I think you look gorgeous," Christian had actually thought she was naturally gorgeous and didn't think that a baby bump should affect that,
"I'm talking about my stomach," Darcy groaned and turned to him with a pout,
"You are a cute baby momma so there isn't a problem," he threw his arms around her and just hoped that by giving her a hug it would just help her feel better,
"You know you give good hugs right?" She always wished that she found someone who was able to give hugs that actually felt calming,
"You're a good person to hug," he smiled as he pulled away for the doorbell to go off,
"So you ready for this?" Christian asked as she nodded and followed him to the front door,
"I didn't expect to see you here," Mason was surprised to see the young blonde as the American opened the door for him,
"Yea well we have something we needed to tell you," the last thing that Darcy wanted was for her best friend to find out that she was pregnant because of the fact that she had a belly or because of the media,
"So what's up?" He asked as she looked over to Christian trying to figure out who and what should he said,
"So basically when Darcy and I had our date she kinda landed up pregnant," Christian awkwardly scratched the back of his neck not wanting his teammate to kill him,
"Okay so here's the part where I teach you two watch a condom is," Mason joked as they both smiled hoping that it meant he wasn't mad,
"Oh give me a hug," Darcy moaned as she pulled Mason in for a hug,
"If I'm not an uncle of this child then I'm going to be fuming." He pointed around the future parents hoping Darcy would let him call their child his niece or nephew.
