Y/n woke up feeling refreshed after having been offered a bed by Charles to sleep in, along with her own room, for which she was thankful. Since she had never slept in a bed before and had only ever made a nest out of the blankets atop a cold, hard stone ledge, her sleep was disturbed. When a strange white spider demon entered the room and saw her makeshift nest on the bed, he was visibly taken aback.

"Who in the world are you?" he exclaimed, causing Y/n to turn her head towards him, her (e/c) eyes narrowing. "I am General Y/N," she replied icily.

She harbored a disdain for unfamiliar faces.

The spider blinked. "General?" he inquired, to which Y/n nodded. "To which army?" Y/n hesitated, about to proclaim her allegiance to the grand army of the NightWings, but she realized she was no longer in her domain; she was no longer among the living, rendering her title meaningless. With a dismissive wave of her hand, she retorted, "That is none of your concern, dear spider." Rising effortlessly to her towering height, she loomed over the spider, who gazed up in awe at her imposing stature. "Now, is there anything you require, or may I descend to procure breakfast from those scavengers below?" she inquired.

"Ah, yes, of course," he stammered before stepping back. Y/n gracefully maneuvered, brushing her delicate hand along the underside of his chin as she departed, sending a visible shiver down the spine of the intrigued angel dust.

In a realm above, known as heaven, a particular angel fumed as he gazed at a conspicuously blank scroll displaying the radiant image of Y/n. "Blast it all, she was supposed to be here!" he exclaimed, directing his ire at his companion and bodyguard. "Why on earth is she not in heaven? Tell me, Lute!" Lute met Adam's gaze with a cold stare. "I do not possess the answer, my lord. Seek counsel from God, not from me."

Adam sighed and ran a hand through his hair before spreading his wings, ascending higher into the ethereal realm to locate his father. He discovered him in conversation with Serra, his deputy. "Ah, Adam, what troubles you?" inquired the enigmatic figure.

Adam lowered his gaze solemnly before addressing his father, "Why, in your esteemed name, is Y/N L/N not present among our celestial brethren? Her intentions were noble, benefiting the realm." He raised his voice in frustration, "What she undertook served the greater good!" God gazed levelly at him and responded, "Son, you are aware she is a dragon. We cannot have dragons amidst us, for they are inherently linked to the realm of darkness." Adam scoffed, "My brother would not align himself with a monstrous being; he snatched my beloved wife from me, do you not recall?"

God hummed thoughtfully before turning to Serra, "What are your thoughts, Serra? Should I have allowed L/N to remain here?" Serra shrugged, her wings fluttering gently, "She was indeed virtuous, but being a dragon, Lucifer may not consort with creatures of her kind. Furthermore, she defied her queen's decree." Adam scoffed and unfurled his wings in agitation, "Is that justification enough to banish her to that infernal realm? What if Lucifer were to find her and corrupt her further?"

God pondered with a long finger pressed against his chin before straightening his white coat, which billowed around him, "I may reconsider if you bring her before me, so that I may behold her in person, rather than merely as a reflection upon the water."

Adam smiled coyly and flapped his wings twice, "I will not disappoint you, Father." With that, he gracefully stepped backward from the platform and took flight, determined to find Lucifer and his followers. He would retrieve Y/N and claim her as his own, as she was destined to be under his dominion.

In Hell, Y/N was conversing with Charlie, who mentioned that she would soon have to meet her father. Y/N and her companions were strolling outside the gates of the hotel, with Vaggie accompanying them for security. "Dearest Vaggie, I'm fine on my own," said Y/N, giving the fallen angel a melancholic, gentle gaze. However, Vaggie shook her head. "Not happening. I won't allow you to risk Charlie's life while you are unable to protect..." Y/N interrupted her by encircling her head with her tail, silencing her words. "Just trust me, will you?" she asked, her sickly sweet smile reminiscent of Alastor spreading across her muzzle. She then turned to Charlie, saying, "Let's go and find your father."

They soon discovered Lucifer's palace and Charlie joined the poor then they ascended the stairs, calling for Lucifer. Y/n sat down at the steps with her vagge loose from the coil of her tail. Soon, a striking woman with curling horns approached. "Ah, you must be the new addition to our realm. I am Lilith," said the woman, bowing gracefully. Y/n dipped her head in acknowledgment. "A pleasure to meet you, Your Highness," Lilith shook her head, "Please, do not call me that." She then discreetly left, leaving Y/n to exchange a knowing glance with Vaggie. Suddenly, a gasp rippled through the room and Y/n turned to face Charlie, who was tugging on a man's hand. He is a slender-figured fallen angel who resembles his daughter, Charlie - with white skin, rosy cheeks, blonde hair adorned with thin, light coral streaks, and eyes featuring light yellow sclera with red pupils. He stands slightly shorter than his daughter, though not by a significant margin.

In contrast to Charlie, his mouth is filled with sharp teeth, his hair is slicked back with a tuft sticking out, his eyes have slit pupils like a snake, and his cheeks bear a paler shade of red. Additionally, he boasts black sharp eyebrows and light purple eyelids. When his sleeves are rolled up, his forearms, adorning a dark grey hue, are visible.

Lucifer's attire, in a striking white and red combination, resembles that of a circus ringmaster. Sporting a wide-brimmed white top hat embellished with a golden snake and a red apple over golden spikes resembling a crown, Lucifer dons a red-lined and red-trimmed white popped-collared suit adorned with several golden buttons. His coat drapes over a light red-and-white striped waistcoat featuring two golden buttons and a small black bowtie as an accessory.

Y/n inclined her head gracefully, "My king," she said, and the man blinked, snapping out of his stupor. "You are..." Y/n smiled, completing his sentence, "a dragon, yes. I am, my lord. Apologies for my unannounced arrival, but your daughter is truly a precious gem." She smiled softly at Charlie, who returned the gesture and approached her, embracing her gently.

Y/n wrapped herself tenderly around the princess, and Lucifer's eyes flickered, perhaps out of something Y/n did not wish to delve into or simply out of insignificance.

"Well then, my lady, you are quite the stunning one, aren't you," Lucifer remarked before descending the stairs, taking hold of Y/n's talon, and placing a kiss on her knuckles. Y/n exhaled a wisp of smoke that curled towards her horns. She appeared flustered, yes, but she did not allow it to show. Over the years, she had certainly cultivated patience from being the object of flirtation by numerous dragons.

"Thank you, my lord, you are not the villainous kind yourself," she replied with a small smile. Lucifer blushed slightly, then stammered and gestured towards the stairs. "By all means, come on in!"

And so began the tour of the Morningstar Palace.
