Confrontation and Sacrifice
As I woke up and stretched my wings, I nearly toppled over my nightstand. "So, what do you think? I'm not going to let you out of my sight," growled Husk's dark voice, and I turned around to see him. He wasn't dead, not ripped to shreds. He was alive.
"Remember," I roared, reaching out and wrapping my calves around his hips. He yelped, "Oi!" as I pulled him close and buried my snout in his chest, inhaling deeply. I whispered, "Don't die on me, okay?" He snorted, and I felt a rumble in his chest. "I can't promise that, but I'll try," he said. His paws began to stroke my head, and I purred, the vibration spreading through the air and causing a matching purr to echo from his chest.
"Yeah, you promise," I asked, my eyes heavy from sleep. He nodded, his muzzle crinkling in a semblance of a smile, "Yeah, don't worry your pretty head."
I laughed, pushing him away, my paws rubbing at my red-rimmed eyes. "Sorry, I shouldn't have hugged you like that; I just... had a bad dream, that's all."
Husker hummed, his tail thumping gently on the ground. "I see," he said, then sat down by my side and took one of my claws in his paws. Look, I'm not really good at this touchy-feely thing, but if you need someone, I'll let you talk to me, okay?"
I giggled, smiling at him. "Thanks, that's all I need." I turned to my door, "I guess it's time to leave now, huh? So, you had to wake me up, right?" I asked.
"Yeah," Husker said before pulling me up. Now, come on, wipe that off your face. We don't want those nickelbags asking any questions, do we?" I smiled, nodding before walking out of my room with him, snapping my fingers and putting on the same black light armor I had in the dream.
We strolled through the dimly lit halls, the sound of our claws clacking on the polished stone floors. I leaned against Husker, my armor clinking softly. We were an odd pair, sinners brought together. Who would've thought?

Soon we arrived at the grand lobby and beheld Lucifer, Charles, and the remainder of our company. A smile graced my lips as I beheld them all, filling me with joy that we were finally, albeit to some extent, united in this endeavor. I knew that Adam and his purported army of angels would not stand a chance against us.
Alastor turned towards the source of my footsteps, his smile wavering slightly as he caught sight of me leaning against Husker. However, he made no move to react. "How delightful to see you, my dear," he said with a slight pause, then gestured towards Angel Dust. Alastor draped a hand lightly over my shoulder, the armor beneath his touch, and remarked, "I see you are prepared to confront this angelic army."
I smiled and squeezed Alastor's hand on my shoulder. "Yes, it is a fine idea to show those two know-it-alls what hell truly entails," I replied.
I turned to Charlie. "If you desire my presence, my dear princess," I said. Charlie laughed and approached me, pulling me into an embrace. "Always, Y/N. You have been a great ally to me and this hotel; I could never thank you enough. Besides, my father approves of you! That is always a plus."
I hummed and swished my tail. "Of course, beloved friend," I replied. Stepping away, I gazed at my companions. "This day is one we will all remember forever."
They nodded, and together we embraced before the sky suddenly opened. I turned to see a host of angels approaching. However, they were not the beautiful beings I had envisioned angels to be. They had gray auras, strange faces, and an overall solemn demeanor. The sight of this procession was unsettling.
Vaigge approached me and inquired, "Are you ready?" I nodded and spread my wings, replying, "Never been more prepared."
Then, after a while, Adam stood before us and grinned. "Looks like you both still have some fight left in you," he muttered.
I stepped forward, extending my wings. Stars twinkled beneath them as I growled at Adam, who looked surprised as he gazed up at me. "And whom might you be, darling?" he inquired.
"I am Y/N L/N, and I am the protector of this place. Back off now with your little army before you find out why they back home called me the Dragon Slayer."
Adam snorted, "Apologies, darling, but I am not easily intimidated by yet another harlot. You are nothing but a sinner, and I must take the lives of your friends. The exorcism will happen as surely as the sun must cease its movement."
I chuckled, and my tail's spikes began to grow as I turned to my friends. "I apologize for all of this," I said, and Charlie and Vaggie shared a glance before Angel spoke, "You are not going to sacrifice yourself, are you?" I smiled. "For my friends, I would do anything possible," Alastor chimed in, smiling as always. "You do not need to do this; I can push this man aside and clear the way," he said.
I smiled but shook my head before leaning forward and grasping the Radiodemon's chin, kissing his nose and then his lips, slightly tasting a hint of the scents of my friends but undaunted. "You don't need to, darling," is all I say before I charge at Adam, who yelps as he is bowled over.
I subdue him as he squeals under me. "Okay, this may be enticing, but release me, you insipid harlot!" he screams. Unperturbed, I incline towards him and extend my tongue, which sears along the exposed part of his skin beneath his multitude of claws and mask.
"Your demise will precede the sun's crimson essence," I growl, only to be unseated by the lute. "Do not lay a hand on him, do you comprehend?!" she bellows, charging with her sword, striking my wing and causing white blood to trickle forth. But I do not emit a cry; I do not even falter. I merely grin, and soon, I release all the chains.
A vibrational murmur ripples through the abyss, causing Charile to shriek in alarm as a donkey crashes to the ground, stealthily advancing toward them. Shortly thereafter, a platform materializes, lifting them away from the turmoil. "No, Y/N!" Angel cries out, but as he reaches out, Husk restrains him. "Do not intervene, Angel; she does not desire us imperiled," Remender advises.
Angel shifts his gaze to the others, noting Charile in tears. "What on Earth is she up to?" whispers the Prince of Hell, while Alastor concurs, "I am uncertain, my dear, but it does not bode well."
They all pivot to witness my emergence from the billowing smoke emanating from the fracture in the scorched terrain, with Lute ensnared beneath a sizable black talon, one of her wings rent asunder.
"You bring ignominy upon all celestial beings," a voice, unfamiliar even to myself, snarls. Vaigge gasps, "It's... it's her true manifestation," she breathes.
They observe as Adam stands, brandishing his guitar sword and poised to strike at the encroaching appendage. Yet before he can execute the blow, the tail curls around his wrist, and with a resounding snap, his hand is wrenched free, limp upon the cold steel.
Adam reels in agony, clasping his handless arm with his other hand, enveloping it with a wing. "You... you wretch!" he growls.
I incline my head ever so slightly, offering a chilly smile. "Label me as you please, but I shall not permit you, first man, to attempt treacherous deeds against me."
With a release, the lute skates to her feet, her expression contorted in anguish as she notices the profusion of golden blood seeping from the void where her wing once resided. However, a flicker of astonishment crosses her face as I loosen my grip on her. Ovakleder displays a wry smile upon seeing my approach toward Adam, who is hunched over, clutching his injured arm against his chest - his guitar discarded on the ground, rendered ineffectual.
"Adam, evacuate the premises immediately!" Lute implores, attempting to advance, yet my tail coils around her midsection, propelling her forcibly from the hotel vicinity.
I come to a halt before Adam, who gazes up and breathes laboriously. "You shall not endure this crucible, vile temptress," he snarls.
I respond with a smile, lowering myself to breathe a searing, smoky breath against his concealed visage. "Your fate holds no concern for me, but my companions shall remain untouchable," I declare before my jaws descend upon Adam, plunging the surroundings into an eerie silence.
