six // stay
JOLIE SAT WITH A CUP OF COFFEE IN FRONT OF HER while sitting at the kitchen table with her laptop in front of her, scrolling through apartments for rent. Now that she had an income coming in once again after being hired at St Thomas, she needed to find her own apartment— away from her mother.
A sigh fell from her discouraged lips, every listing she had looked at had something wrong with it — at least in Jolie's eyes. She knew she shouldn't be so picky, but honestly she couldn't help it.
"Morning, sweetie." Wayne Unser smiled as he entered the kitchen. "Any luck finding a place?" He questioned while pouring himself a cup of coffee.
Unser loved having his daughter back home and would have preferred if she stayed with him for a little bit longer, but he understood the strained relationship between his wife and Jolie.
"No." Jolie shook her head as she closed the laptop with annoyance filling her body. How could it be so hard to find at least one decent apartment in Charming. It wasn't like new people were moving there everyday.
"Maybe Gemma can help you? She's got an eye for things." Wayne suggested.
"Yeah. Maybe." Jolie sighed as she placed her empty cup into the sink. "The house is so quiet without mom." Jolie stated as she leaned against the counter.
Her mother had decided to leave for the week and go visit the youngest Unser daughter. Of course no invitation was extended to Jolie — not that she expected one. It was a typical move from her mother, leaving once Jolie was in town — not that she minded. The Unser house was much calmer without Della constantly complaining or huffing and puffing about Jolie's life.
Wayne hated to agree with his oldest daughter about the absence of his wife but it was true. Whenever Della went out of town it felt like he could breathe easier.
"How was the party last night?" Wayne questioned changing the subject.
Jolie wasn't surprised that her Chief father knew where she had gone last night. She was certain that Gemma or either Hale had told him, but honestly even if they didn't he still would have known.
"Hale tell you he dropped me off there?" A scoff left her lips.
"Hale didn't need to tell me anything." Wayne stated matter of factly. "The clubhouse is where you always go."
It was true. SAMCRO's clubhouse was like a save haven for Jolie. It had been that way since she was a teenager and would probably continue until she was old and gray. There was something comforting about the clubhouse to Jolie — something she never felt at home.
"It was nice seeing everyone."
"Everyone or Trager?" Unsee raised an eyebrow towards his daughter. Of course he had known of the close relationship his daughter and Tig Trager had. Hell, the man had even visited Jolie in New York once in a while.
Jolie shook her head at her father's question. "Everyone." She repeated before placing a kiss on her father's cheek and leaving the kitchen.
JOLIE LAID ON THE COUCH WATCHING SOME TV SHOW, a bored sigh fell from her lips. Since her job at St Thomas didn't start for another week the Unser woman was bored out of her mind. She had forgotten how boring Charming could be — it definitely wasn't like New York at all.
The roar of a motorcycle pulled Jolie from her bored state, raising an eyebrow she sat up and stared out the window, waiting to see what member of SAMCRO was coming to visit her.
A wide smile formed on her face as she watched Tig's bike pull up to the curb outside of her house. Her brown eyes watched as he dismounted his bike, pulling his helmet off and shaking out his crazy curls.
"Thank god." She mumbled to herself before quickly getting up from the couch and throwing the door open before Tig could even knock.
"Damn doll, you waitin' for me or something?" Tig smirked as his blue eyes eyed Jolie up and down.
"Maybe. I'm so bored, Tiggy. I need you to save me from this boredom." Jolie exclaimed dramatically as she pulled the biker into the house.
A chuckle fell from Tig's lips. "Doll, you've only been back in Charming for a few days and you're already bored? The party last night wasn't fun enough?" The smirk still intact on his face as he played with Jolie's hair.
"The party was definitely entertaining." Jolie smiled as she remembered seeing Happy and the ride home he had given her. "Sorry I ran off so early." The brunette quickly apologized as she pulled Tig towards the couch.
"It's not a big deal, doll. I figured you had shit to do." Tig assured as he sat down on the couch, wrapping his arm around Jolie.
Jolie smiled and cuddled into Tig's touch. "Can you stay for a little bit?" She questioned, laying her head on his shoulder.
"Of course I can doll." Tig said while placing a kiss on top of her head.
