BLACKPINK's Marii Personally Addresses
Future With YG and BLACKPINK Amid Rumors

For months now, BLINKS have been super anxious on the rumors that BLACKPINK weren't renewing with YG and Marii would be leaving the group upon their contracts expiring.

Just last night, Marii personally took to her Instagram live to discuss everything that was being said and did not hold back whatsoever.

Excerpt ; "Okay, so I feel like I need to address this before BLINKS have a heart attack, while it is true that I have not renewed my personal contract with YG but it is absolutely untrue and baseless that I'm leaving BLACKPINK. I have no reason to do so, those four girls are my heart and I will never turn my back on them, not under any conditions."

This came as a shock to everyone that Marii addressed this before YG Entertainment was able to. She explained why, and also expressed frustration for the rumors and news articles (and maybe a bit for the company(?).

Excerpt ; "I know sometimes people can hear or see something and run with it, but you guys should not do that unless you know all the facts. Yes, I'm very aware that there was a lot of back and forth for a while and it was very frustrating for everyone involved. I wanted to wait to tell you guys until the girls, the company and I could reach an agreement but things weren't handled properly so it did happen that way and I apologize, but please, next time wait until you get the full story before reporting on it or tweeting it or anything like that."

While most BLINKs were understanding and supportive, others were not. Comments flooded in and people were angry that Marii addressed it before the girls could as a group.

Marii also addressed these in a classy yet savage manner

Excerpt ; "You didn't want me? Well, YG, Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo and Rosie did so you hold no weight." She stated while laughing. "I talked this over with the girls and the company beforehand, so try again love!"

BLINKs are having a field day with the fact that Marii is staying in BLACKPINK and no longer keeping her cool when it comes to the hate. While she did not disclose if she had a  new company or anything like that, she did hint at new content.

Excerpt ; "I love you BLINKs so much, and I don't want you to ever worry, I have so many solo projects in the works and you will not be starved on Marii or pinks content anytime soon! Thank you BLINKs for everything! i'll see you guys soon, much much love!"
