Honestly if you haven't heard of Medusa like ever, where have you even been my guy?

She's the snake-haired maiden who got turned into a gorgon and anyone who looked her in the eye turned to stone. What may NOT be as well known is that Poseidon actually seduced her and uh *ahem* got bUsY with her in Athena's temple (rude) and Athena came and was like "dude, how uncool of you" but instead of punishing Poseidon she punished Medusa bc feminism i guess

So Medusa just kinda chilled there as a monster or something and one day came Perseus who lopped her head off and Pegasus came flying out of her dead decapitated body. Yes it's exactly how it sounds.
