"Naina?"

Naina gasped as she felt a rough hand placed on her cheeks, snapping her back to reality. She looked up at her husband who was staring at her. His eyes were still emotionless but a little softer this time. He was like a puzzle, which she feared to solve because she knew she would break apart even if she tried. He was perfect at hiding his emotions from the world, Naina thought to herself. "Are you okay?" He asked her. Naina bobbed her head in the way of yes with a confused look plastered on her face. She stared at him, trying to figure out why he was concerned so suddenly. He stared at her for a few moments, then took his hand off her face.

"Aap itni jaldi kyu aaye?" She asked, breaking the silence.

"Kyu? Nahi aa sakta." Sameer said as he walked in the room taking off his blazer.

"Mera woh matlab nahi tha, sachi Nani ki kasam." Naina replied swiftly walking into the room.

"Did you cook something?" He asked her at which she nodded her head in the way of yes.

"Apko pasand toh aata hai na mera banaya hua khana? Nahi toh man hi man sochoge ki yeh kaisa khana banati hai, ab banaya hai toh khana hi padega. Mujhe pata hai is sawal ka jawab toh nahi dene wale aap. Mai bhi na, mai serve kar deti hu aap aa jayega." Naina said giggling at the comment and went downstairs.

"Strange," Sameer murmured to himself seeing her answer her questions as a slight smile lingered on his face.

◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇

"Vapas jaa rahe ho?" Naina asked, getting upset seeing him leave. He just hummed in response.

"Don't talk to that old lady. Ho sake toh room ke bahar hi mat aana." Sameer said, not answering what she had just asked. Naina nodded her head in a way of understanding, while her head was hung down as she played with her dupatta. Sameer pulled her by her hand in a jerk and wrapped his one hand around her waist. Naina gasped at his sudden pull and before she could speak anything she felt a feathery kiss on her forehead making her close her eyes to feel the blissful moment, as she fisted his shirt in nervousness. All her thoughts seemed to be condensed at that moment. She looked at him as he loosened his grip on her.

"Dadi is here. Don't take me wrong." Sameer whispered against her ears in his hoarse voice making her stiffen at her position. Naina just nodded in response. What he did was not in love with her. It's just a year's contract, he had already clarified things from his side. Just a year and everything will end between them. She smiled painfully seeing him leave.

Last night they had decided to act as happy-loving couples in front of Dadi. Even though it was a contract marriage, they had clarified that they would just pretend to be a happy couple a few days back, Sameer and Naina did not want to involve anyone in their matters. Sameer did not want Dadi to even converse with Naina, as he feared if history repeats. There were some things related to Dadi, which were still to be unraveled.

◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇

"Shaadi, huh! Jitna bhi koshish karle mere samne natak karne ki muje toh sachai malum hi hai. Mujhe bewkuf banane chale. Mere hote hue Sameer will never inherit properties of his parents. Agar varis hi nahi hoga toh property uske naam ho hi nahi sakta. Achi tarah se yaad hai muje kaisa mara tha mere pati ko.Aise hi kaise chod du in logo ko." Dadi spoke to someone on the phone.

"Aap mere aur mere pati ke peeche kyu pade ho? Koi aur kaam nahi hai kya apke paas?" Naina said getting irritated by her behaviour.

"Tumse toh baat hi nahi ki maine aur yaha khadi hokar meri baate sun rahi ho sharam nahi aati tumhe. Do kaudi ki bhikhi hui aurat ho tum, jo paiso se bhikh jaye usse nazre neechi rakhkar baat karni chahiye. Itna ghamand acha nahi hota." Dadi spoke, taunting Naina.

"Our marriage was a contract, jiske bare mai muje pata nahi tha. Lekin jo bhi ho I am his legally wedded wife aur abhiman hai mujhe chiz ka. Humari personal matter mai ghus kar aapko kya milega. At least jaisi bhi hu apki tarah toh nahi jo dusro ke dukh ko dekh kar khushiyaan manata ho. Kyun karti ho aap aisa? Kya milta hai apko yeh sab ginoni cheez karke?" Naina snapped at her. Dadi walked towards Naina, but she did not budge and just kept glaring at Dadi.

Dadi traced her face with her fingers. "Zabaan kattar ke tarah chalti hai tumhari. Janna chahti ho kyu karti hu mai aisa. Tumhe pata bhi hai your criminal husband aur uske voh uske buddhe nanu ne kya kiya tha?" Dadi asked as she clenched her jaw. Naina jerked off her hands as she felt disgusted by her touch.

"Mere pati aur Nanu ka naam izzat se lijiye. My husband is not a criminal and Nanu toh aap se bhi umar mai kam hai. Aapko agar mai brainless budiya bulau toh kaisa lagega?" Naina spoke raging in anger but her statement made Dadi lose her anger.

She tightened her hold on Naina's neck and choked her pushing her towards the wall. Naina tried to push her, finding it difficult to breathe. Naina suddenly took on a pale look, as if she'd been painted with whitewash. Even her lips turned dry. Her mind swirled with dizziness and her breaths turned shallow until she fell in a heap to the floor.

Dadi smirked at what she had done but at the very next moment, she was struck harshly on her face. The slap was as loud as a clap, that echoed in the room, which stung her face. It had been an open-handed smack and had left a red welt behind. Before she could react anything she felt her collar fisted and pulled towards rock-figure. She shuddered to see the raging blue eyes piercing her soul with that look.

"You will pay for what you have done to my wife. I have tolerated all your nuisance to date. I will make sure this is the last day of your life. Mark my words, your death is approaching you." He spoke in his brusque voice, making her shiver. He pushed her away and kneeled as he picked Naina in his arms. Her body seemed lifeless, while her legs and hands dangled.

"Call the doctor!" He said, eyeing his guards and walking towards their room.

◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇

Naina was much more silent fidgeting with her dupatta, Sameer just stared at her for a while then averted his gaze.

"We are going to leave tomorrow." He spoke in his gruff voice, making her gasp.

"Huh?" She uttered looking at him in confusion as she did not listen to what he had just spoken.

"We are going back tomorrow to India," Sameer repeated himself at which she nodded her head a bit. He stood up  to go out of the room, she held his hand and gestured to him to stay. He sat next to her and stared at their handhold. She looked at him wanting to speak but was scared of his reaction.

"Kuch bolna hai apko?" Sameer asked her at which she bobbed her head in the way of no and lowered her gaze.

"If you want to ask, then ask right now," Sameer spoke again but this time in a strict tone.

"I-I wanted to ask that..not-thing." She hesitated but seeing him glare she bit her lips in nervousness.

"My books? Voh mai office mai bete bete kya karungi so I wanted my books." Naina stuttered as she spoke. Sameer looked at her for a few minutes, he knew this was not the matter she wanted to say. He did not want to force her to speak her heart out nor did he want to be rude to her. He did not reply to her and even she did not say anything.

Sameer's V/o

I did not want to leave my Khaza alone in the mansion so I brought her along. Dadi had got on my nerves, I had brought her to the mansion for some purpose but she tried to harm my wife! I never hit women but I did hit her, she deserved it. I could notice that Naina was unable to come out of the trauma of what happened to her. She wanted to say something but hesitated to tell me. I do not like when somebody disrespects me or does not follow my orders. But, I tried to not make things worse by screaming and punishing her. When things are related to her, I make sure I am patient.

She looks too pretty when she sleeps just like a baby. I went towards the sofa where she was laying. Taking the books which she was reading, covered her with dupatta properly. I could not stop gazing at her cute loving face. I touched her bubbly cheeks gently as I pushed her hair strands behind her ears. I heard a knock, breaking my chain of thoughts. I walked towards my chair and asked the person to come in.

Voiceover ends

"Rehman?"

"I found some very important information." He spoke, Sameer nodded his head curtly and gestured to him to sit.

"Your wife is quite adorable," Rehman said as he noticed Naina sleeping soundly. Sameer curled up his fist.

"I wish I could have married her," Rehman spoke adding to his statement adding fuel to fire.

"She's my wife, will you stop ogling over her!" Sameer said as he banged the table emphasizing each word he spoke.

"Oh-Okay doesn't be angry but it's an undeniable fact that she is the prettiest woman I have ever seen. Unlike girls who wear expensive clothes and put on tons of makeup to look pretty." Rehman spoke.

"Can you stop adoring my wife? I know she is the prettiest woman and just mine to adore and love." Sameer spoke clenching his jaw as he did not like any man praising her and adoring her beauty. He looked at Naina who was waking up rubbing her eyes lazily. She sat straight and passed a slight smile seeing Sameer. He walked towards her and gave her a water bottle. She mouthed a thankyou taking it from him. She noticed Rehman present in the cabin.

"Were you talking about something important?" Naina asked him at which Sameer bobbed his head a bit.

"I-I will wait for you on the ground floor so that I don't disturb your meeting," Naina said as a whisper to Sameer.

"Okay but don't go out of the office premises, take my phone along. Call on this number if you feel unsafe." Sameer said to her sternly as he handed her his phone, Naina simply nodded her head in a way of understanding. She bid bye to Sameer and Rehman before leaving Sameer's cabin.

The thoughts trundled through her brain like a through train, with no intention of stopping. Her head spun as she thought about the transitions in her life. She was a simple girl who did not crave anything except for love. She was told one day to get married as her marriage was decided when she was six. She agreed to it just because of her parents' pressure or just because she had no option left. She wished her partner to love her dearly but even that was not written in her fate. Her 'marriage' turned out to be a contract for a year and saving their relationship was not even an option as her husband had clarified that he won't love her ever.

Naina sighed in frustration. She sat on a bench which was kept at a corner of the ground floor of the office. She fished out the phone he had given and downloaded some games to divert her mind.

"Aree nahi!" Naina uttered to herself in disappointment as she got out of the game which she was playing, her voice was too loud.

"Are you okay?" Sameer asked with a smirk and a flash of impressed look in his eyes. Naina jumped at her place listening to his rough voice.

"Yeah, I'm okay." Naina stares up at Sameer in fear, tapping the back button of his phone while murmuring inaudible curses to herself for playing on his phone and hoping that he doesn't realize she was playing on his phone.

"Why?" He asked, making her stop thinking. Why? What does he mean 'why'? Why am I okay? Should I not be okay? Is there something I shouldn't be okay about? Is something wrong? Is something wrong with me? Is he angry or just kidding me? Naina looked at him to read his facial expressions but it was nearly impossible to read his blank face.

"I-I am sorry, very sorry. I will never play on your phone. Nani ki kasam. Aap gussa toh nahi ho na?" Naina asked him cutely. She did not dare to look at him. Sameer bent to her height and pecked her cheeks.

"Are you really so cute?'' Sameer murmured against his breath which was audible to Naina.

"Huh! Gussa ho ki nahi?" Naina asked him, getting confused but at the very next moment, she gasped sharply as Sameer picked her up.

"I can walk!" She screeched.

"So?" He asked her with his signature smirk plastered on his face.

"I can walk, you don't have to carry me like a baby."

"Why only babies are carried in arms? Can't I carry my wife like this?" Sameer questioned her.

"Wife for a year." She mumbled against her breath.

"At this moment you are my wife and I have all right to pick you. I don't care about the contract at the moment." He spoke and took her towards their car. Naina pursed her lips, seeing him angry as she spoke about the contract.

"But what I said is true. I am your wife for just a year." Naina spoke again.

"Shut up." He said coldly.

"You can't talk to me this rudely. What I said are just a fact and truth." Naina spoke angrily. Sameer did not reply as he knew she was speaking right. He just walked towards their car. Naina sighed and hid her face in his chest as she saw employees seeing them.

◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇

Naina was lying on the bed with her book open but she was not at all concentrating on studying. Sameer came freshening up and saw her lost in her thoughts. He took the book from her, making her make an irritated voice.

"Padh nahi rahi ho toh so jao." He said while she just stared at him with hesitancy. Sameer sat next to her resting his head on the bed rest.

"I nee..need something." Naina finally spoke, gathering up the courage. Sameer hummed in response and looked at her, gesturing to her to speak. Naina kept looking downwards thinking again whether she should ask or not.

"Speak," Sameer spoke sternly, seeing her lost.

"A-Apne promise kiya tha that you will give me what I want," Naina mumbled.

"If you want something just say it. Baat ko ghuma phira kar kyu bol rahi ho?" Sameer said with an expressionless face put up.

"I want.." She started speaking, eyeing him.

"What do you want?" Sameer spoke trying to be softer so that she does not get scared of him.

"A baby," Naina uttered swiftly. His brain stuttered for a moment and his eyes took in more light than she expected, every part of him went on pause while he tried to catch up with what she just spoke. His eyes and mouth were frozen wide open in an expression of stunned surprise and was staring straight at Naina to find if she was just kidding.

"Repeat yourself," Sameer uttered.

"I want a baby. You have paid such a large amount for me and in that contract too it is mentioned that you married me for your heir." Naina spoke not looking at his piercing orbs.

"Are you crazy? The clause was added by your family. Do you think I have married you or brought you here because you are a.." He clenched his jaw in anger as he felt he was misunderstood. He stopped in between as he did not want to use any disrespectful words for her.

"Aap galat samajh rahe ho. I know you are not like that and all these contract things are just because of my parents. I just want a child, our child because aaj woh Dadiji." Naina mumbled shivering at his shrill voice.

"Did she say something to you?" Sameer asked her. Naina nodded quickly and narrated the morning incident to him.

"We don't have to do this just because somebody speaks nonsense,"

"But according to that contract.." Naina started speaking but was interrupted by his raging voice.

"Do you feel I care of that fucking contract!" He yelled in anger making her stiffen at her position and fist the bedsheet in her fist.

"Na-Naina you don't have to do anything which is against your will," Sameer spoke as he touched her face gently. His hands were shivering, for the second time in his life. He never wanted to take this step because he knew what this meant for her, in her life. She was a fragile doll and he did not want her to lose the only thing she was left with, her dignity to a person like him who had to leave her according to the contract stuff. She deserved a much better person than him, he thought. His hands shivered for the first time when he touched the dead- body of his parents. Naina was shocked as she felt his hand shivering.

"I am not speaking anything against my will. I know you are a very kind person and also my husband." She replied to him.

"Are you scared?" Naina asked, touching his hand which was placed on her cheeks.

"Why would I be?" He replied grumpily, taking his hand off her hold, diverting his gaze. Naina kept staring at him in confusion for a few seconds then shrieked in horror.

"Are you gay?" She asked him in utter disbelief.

"Have you lost your mind?" Even Sameer spoke in bewildered horror.

"You must be gay so you are too scared. You are refusing because you must be gay. I know it's difficult to confess but I won't have judged You. It's completely normal. You must have not lied to me about your identity of being a.." Naina said in disbelief but in the very next moment, Sameer pulled her by her hand and pressed his lips against hers. Slipping his hand behind her neck he pulled her close to him. He bent back her head across his arm and kissed her, softly with a swift gradation of intensity. How could she think such thing, he thought to himself biting her soft lips and dominating the kiss making her cling to him as the only solid thing in a dizzy swaying world. His insistent mouth was parting her shaking lips, sending wild tremors along her nerves, evoking from her sensations she had never known she was capable of feeling.

Sameer broke the kiss as he felt her feeling breathless. Naina panted for breath, she wasn't prepared for a sudden kiss like this. She looked at him who looked no less than a Greek God. His hairs had messed up and his eyes had darkened due to the awakening of desires. His lips had some pink lipstick shade making her cheeks to be heated.

"Do you still believe that I am gay?" He asked in his hoarse voice, making her shudder. She quickly nodded her head in the way of no. She smacked her head mentally for making such a remark. Before she could speak anything he leaned down to her height and brushed his lips lightly against her red-turned cheek. As his lips touched her milky skin it sent shivers through her nerves, shivers that made her whole body tremble.

"If you want me to stop, tell me now." He whispered against her ears. When she still said nothing, he pecked her forehead.

"Or now." He traced the line of her cheekbone.

"Or now." As he pressed his thumb against her swollen lips eyeing her face trying to read her facial expressions.

"Or-"Before he could speak anything further she had reached up and pulled him down to her height, and the rest of his words were lost against her mouth. He kissed her gently, carefully, as he did not want to force her anything. She placed her hand on his shoulder for support and closed her eyes tightly as she felt his kisses trailing downwards while his hands roamed shamelessly over her petty body. He directed her hands to wrap around his neck and pulled her closer to him by her waist, making her sit on his lap. She hissed as his wolf-like teeth sank into her soft flesh leaving a hickey.

"You are irresistible Khaza," Sameer murmured as he pulled her into a soulful kiss, again. Naina responded to him passionately. Sameer unzipped her kurti and pulled her dupatta off, making her gasp. She clung to him, resting her head on his crook of neck breathing heavily as she broke the kiss. She felt numb for seconds as she felt his rough hands touching her bareback. Sameer on the other handheld her close to him digging his face in her hair inhaling her lavender smell. He made her lay on the bed gently as he laid next to her with support of his elbow-rubbing his thumb against her red cheeks as she blushed in the darkest shade of red. He pressed his lips against her soft pink petals again, biting and sucking them.

In all this process his hands worked on sliding off her kurti from one side giving him a clear look of her shoulder blade. He trailed down wet kisses on her neck. Naina arched her body as she felt pleasurable and hissed in pain as he bit her soft skin. He kissed that portion softly to soothe down the pain. While she ruffled his silky hair. He again moved upwards to latch his lips to her irresistible ones.

"Kiss me back Khaza!" He spoke in an authoritative yet deeper tone pulling her towards himself kneading her waist sensually. She held on to his shoulder, digging her nails moaning sensually in his mouth making him go crazy. Breaking the kiss he moved a bit away from her, her face was glowing while her eyes had dilated and darkened with desires. Her puffy lips and disheveled hairs made her look sexy, Sameer thought to himself.

"Naina?" He called her lovingly, making her look at him.

"You want this?" He asked her again, making her blush badly, and bit her lips nodding in the way of yes.

"Don't bite them!" Sameer spoke gruffly and pulled her towards him biting her lips harshly. She moaned his name clutching his arm while he switched off the lights as he took off her kurti and grabbed her clothed bosoms in his fist making her moan his name loudly. He started biting her soft flesh marking her as his as she scratched his back unable to bear his tortures.

He unclasped the only cloth covering her bosoms and sucked them making her moan loudly. She never thought she would experience such pleasurable things in her life. Sameer cherished her bosoms as a hungry man and then moved downwards biting near her navel. Taking off her plazo he inserted his hand in the forbidden part making her shiver. He started fingering her as he squeezed her erected buds making her scream in pleasure. Wasting no time he took off his shorts and boxers and entered inside her making her scream in pain. He bent down towards her and captured her lips, smooching it softly.

"Mr. Mahesh-wari." She stuttered against his lips as tears trailed down her cheeks. Sameer deepened the kiss trying to divert her mind as he wiped off her tears with his palm. As he felt that he had adjusted himself inside her and she was not crying anymore he stroked inside her gently. She moaned his name, tightening her hold on his biceps. After a few more strokes he felt her vaginal walls clenching as she climaxed and even he climaxed along. She was so tired and exhausted by just one round that she slept unknowingly but her grip on his bicep did not loosen. He laid beside her pulling sleeping Naina into his embrace, stroking her hair softly while he placed a few kisses on her hair.

She snuggled into him more. Sameer could feel her shivering as they were naked. He increased the AC temperature and covered her with a duvet and made her lie on the bed properly. Not feeling him, she made irritating sounds in sleep.

Wearing his shorts he walked towards the closet and took out his shirt for her from the closet. Making her wear his shirt was much easier than her kurtis. After making her wear his shirt, he pecked her forehead softly. He did not love her, is what he believed but he liked her presence and his heart did urge him to kiss her often.

He walked towards their balcony making sure to close the door properly as he went in there. He smirked seeing the very next room blazing with fire and hearing screams of a person made his muscles relax.

"Deserved to be punished!" He uttered against his breath as his signature smirk was plastered on his face.

◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇

Naina stirred in sleep, rubbing her eyes lazily. But, sat straight in jerk remembering last night's events making her blush instantly. She looked at herself wearing her husband's shirt which was too oversized for her.

"We have to leave in an hour," Sameer spoke in his usual rough voice. Naina stiffened listening to his voice, just nodding her head in the way of yes she got up but felt shy as his shirt did not cover her thighs. He kept staring at her, his wife who looked ethereal in his shirt. He felt like capturing her juicy swollen lips and her shyness made him fall for her again and again. Though he had seen girls wearing short-dresses she looked like a Queen and prettier, he thought to himself. While Naina who had worn short dresses as a kid felt embarrassed and shy to wear such clothes in front of him as she was used to wearing kurtis in his presence.

"I have packed everything, just get ready quickly. We will have our breakfast in the airport itself." Sameer spoke, trying to divert their minds from this awkward situation.

"Packed everything?" Naina mumbled in shock.

"Yeah, it's not a great issue and after the time we spent yesterday I don't think that must be awkward or embarrassing too," Sameer spoke and went out of the room giving her a personal space to freshen up. Naina stood at her spot blushing like a fool but her smile faded instantly as she thought about the contract papers.

◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇

Naina was cooking as she chirped with Mayaji and Nisha. It was just a few hours that they had returned but she was still energetic. She liked to stay at this mansion, which was more like home for her. She was busy chattering with them as she cooked sweet dishes for Sameer, these days she had noticed that he prefers sweets to spicy food. Out of nowhere, she felt a sharp pull making her let out a gasp. She relaxed seeing her husband. Sameer gestured to Mayaji and Nisha to leave.

Naina smiled seeing Sameer a bit knowing that he won't return her smile. She noticed a girl standing there who was beautiful. Her jet-black hair tumbled at her shoulders while she had a beautiful pair of black eyes. She was wearing a black top matched with a grey slit skirt. She indeed looked like a model.

"She is Shrikha and Shrikha, she is my wife Naina Sameer Maheshwari." Sameer introduced. Naina felt her heart flutter listening to the way he just introduced her. But, who is this girl? She thought.
