||Eno's POV||

Walking down the stairs, I was greeted with the sight of my mum, placing some toasted bread on the dining table.

"Mummy, good morning." I greeted, then placed my backpack close to my dining seat and sat down.

"Morning honey, Where's your sister?" Mum enquired, before heading to the kitchen.

"Disappearing," I sighed, then grasped my toast which was placed right in front of me, by my mum.

"You kids with your sense of humor," Mum placed a flask filled with hot tea, on the dining table.

My Dad was super wealthy and could hire as much maids and servants as he pleased. But Mum was against the idea of servants roaming around the compound. She wanted Emem and I to do things by ourselves. According to her, she was grooming us for the future.

The closest thing Dad had ever gotten as a help in the house, was the gate man and Charles, my designated driver. Since Emem happened to be here, I guess they expected me to share. So, Charles was no longer my designated driver, but ours.

"Morning mother," I heard Emem say. She got down from the stairs and walked into the dining room. Speak of the devil, and he shall appear. Well in this case, she shall appear.

"Morning Sugar," Mum smiled at her, and then placed a cup of tea and two toast, for her on the dining table. Emem, sat at the Chair beside me, since that was meant to be her spot.

"Look at you two," Mother cooed at us, and Dad decided it was the best time to join the big happy family breakfast table. Note the sarcasm? Right.

Dad kissed Mum on her left cheek, before sitting at his spot, which was located at the edge of the dining table.

"How was your night girls?" Dad asked, as he took a bite from his toast.

"Great," I shrugged.

"It was nice Dad," Emem said in a cheerful voice, making me to roll my eyes.

"I'm sure you're eager to meet your old friends, right?" Dad smiled, before sipping his tea from his tea cup.

Emem mirrored Dad's action, by sipping her own tea. "I don't know Dad, I could remember their names but not their faces."

"And she's meant to be the smarter twin?" I chuckled to myself, minding my own business.

Emem who heard me, looked at me disapprovingly, before drifting her attention back to Dad. "I want to go back to the state, Dad."

I scoffed at her choice of words. "No you don't. You just don't want to be in the same room with me."

"I wonder why," Emem said sarcastically, while she pretending to be in thought. Gosh, I hated her right now.

"Stop your bickering," Dad breathed out, then sighed before drinking his remaining tea. "It's seven - fifteen, you girls need to be at school." Emem and I, quickly gulped down our remaining tea and then bid Mum and Dad goodbye.

After our designated driver gave Emem and I, a ride to school, we headed straight into the school's main building. Emem glanced around, to digest her surroundings. She only attended the first term of Jss1, before gaining a scholarship to school in the state.

Everyone kept looking at Emem, which was getting on my nerves. I guess they were trying to figure out who she was. And those who might have already known her to be my twin in Jss1, were busy telling the lost souls who Emem really was.

"Eno!" I quickly stopped, and so did Emem. Down the hall, stood Sofia and Shade. They both began to run towards Emem and I. Well, Sofia was doing the running, while dragging Shade to keep up with her.

"Hi Emem," Sofia greeted once in front of us. "We heard from Eno, that you would be joining us this morning. Remember me?"

"No," Emem shook her head at Sofia.

"Well," Sofia began. "I was your sister's best friend in Jss1. I was usually the one separating you and Eno, when you guys wanted to start those your petty little fights."

Emem squinted her eyes for a second or two, as she studies Sofia. "Sofia Kaku?" Emem asked, then looked at Shade. "And you, must be Folarshade Aro. Cause I remembered Shade, being on low cut."

Shade smiled warmly at Emem, confirming her theory. "Then where's the last one, Osas Odeh? You guys were the inseparable four."

"Being an asshole," I smiled at Emem.

"You think everyone's an asshole," Emem smiled back at me. Anyone who actually knew Emem and I, would know that the smile we just exchanged, was anything but pleasant.

"What's he doing? That's odd." We heard Shade say. We all turned to see Felix, walking towards our direction.

Felix stood right in front of us, his eyes on me. "Hi..... Emem," He said to Emem.

"Typical," I rolled my eyes at him. Emem was only here for like ten minute, and she was already gaining the attention of the great Felix, yet again. I decided to let them have their privacy, so I walked out on my friends, sister and Felix.

Still walking, I heard Felix yell after me but I ignored him. "Hey, Eno wait!" his voice was like a toothache that wouldn't go away, so I stopped.

What does he want? Maybe to make fun of me now that Emem is back.

That thought alone, brought anger into my system. I whipped my body around, to look at Felix, who had a smile plastered on his lip. I smirked at him, before giving him the middle finger. I felt satisfied upon seeing the look on his face. Mission accomplished. I turned and left for the assembly hall.

Our first period, happened to be computer, which normally took place at the computer lab. Each seats at the computer lab, where consist of eight stools. Four stools facing each other, and a large table with eight computers in between.

I found a good table with the best computers, and sat down with my friends and sister.

"I don't know why you want her to hang around with us," I said to Sofia, referring to Emem.

Sofia punched me lightly on the shoulder, "That her, is your twin. Be nice." I rolled my eyes at that, then lifted my backpack to search for my computer note. Our teacher was super late and students were still rushing into the lab.

Still searching for my computer notes, I heard the stools opposite us squeaked. I glanced up to look at the occupants and sitting right in front of me, was Felix.

You've got to be kidding me.

I glanced sideways, to see the two doofus he called friends, sitting beside him. "You've got the wrong desk," I said to Felix.

"The desks weren't assigned to anyone." Felix smiled at me. I clenched my fist that was still shoved in my backpack.

"F-Felix," We heard panting. I tilted my head to the side, to see Osas rushing towards our table. Once at our table, she slumped down on the stool beside Felix. The free stool that wasn't occupied by his two doofus friends, called dumb and stupid. "I've been looking everywhere for you."

"And now you've found him," I glared at her, then stood up from my stool. "Come on girls, let's go."

"To where?" Emem piped in, making me to transfer my aggression at her. "You don't have to showcase your nasty attitude everywhere you go."

I turned my body to face her completely, my hands folded below my chest. "I'm not forcing you to come with me. Hell, I don't want you to come with me. That's Felix, one of your closest friends in Jss1. Catch up with him and don't pipe into my life!" I yelled, making everyone at the computer lab to look at me.

"Look around, Eno." Felix spread his arms wide, gesturing me to follow the direction of his spread arms. "The whole room, are occupied by students. There's no spare table for you and your friends. So why don't you do the world a favour, and sit down."

"Well, I'm not ready to do the world a favour." I growled at him. Mr Williams, the computer teacher, decided to use that moment to walk into the lab.

Mr Williams was a twenty years old man, a fresh University graduate who was lucky to find a job at our school cause he was skilled with the computers and programming. He was super handsome too. I had a crush on him for three weeks, when he started newly. He started teaching at our school at the beginning of this term. He was also one of best teachers cause we could relate some certain things with him, cause his age wasn't far from ours.

"Good morning students," Mr Williams greeted, then he diverted his attention towards me. "Eno, have your seat." I sighed inwardly, before having my seat. I knew better than to argue with a teacher.

Mr Williams placed a textbook on the desk close to the white board, before walking to the the middle of the lab.

"I'm sorry that I'm late guys, the principal decided to hold a meeting with all the staffs. Both the teaching and non teaching staffs." He explained, before looking at Veronica, the class rep. "How many minutes left, Veronica?"

Veronica glanced at her leather brown watch, before looking at Mr Williams. "Just ten more minutes sir."

"Wow, time's not on my side right now." Mr Williams exclaimed. "Well, I'm gonna give you guys the assignment I gave the Art and Commercial class. And to you guys luck, it's a group assignment."

Half of the class groaned in annoyance, making Mr Williams, to chuckle a bit. "Each table consist of eight students, which to my luck, is an even number. I won't choose a partner for you, I'll give you guys the honour to do that yourselves." Mr Williams said, as he strode back and forth, in the middle of the lab.

"You'll have to make a presentation on your system and also design it on a cardboard. When you're done with the presentation on your system, you'll have to send it to my computer and also submit your cardboard presentation too. Note, your presentation must be science related." He instructed. "Once you've gotten a partner, come over to my desk and scribble down your names. I'm giving you guys a week for this assignment. Which means, I need everyone assignment on my desk same time next week Monday."

"Would you be my partner," Osas quickly asked Felix.

Felix looked at her with an expression that I could not comprehend, before muttering the word, "No."

The look on Osas face was priceless, I couldn't stop myself from laughing. Osas looked at me like she was ready to murder me. Well she could try, if she had the guts.

"No," Felix continued, "Cause I want to be Eno's partner."

I scrunched my nose at Felix, "Ewww, no!"

"And, do you have a partner?" Felix raised a brow at me, with the same annoying smile plastered on his face.

"I've got Sofia," I smirked at Felix.

Felix chuckled a bit, "Saviour's got Sofia." Felix said dryly, earning a punch from Saviour.

"I still have Shade," I folded my hands across my chest.

"Shade won't mind if I have you for a bit. Right, head girl?" Felix diverted his attention to Shade.

Shade quietly shook her head. She had been quiet ever since, what did happen to her?

I decided to leave that for another day, as I turned my attention back to Felix. "I'm not going to be your partner."

Felix smiled mischievously, as he checked his black leather watch. What is he up to?

"Mr Williams," Felix called out, "Could Eno be my partner for the project?"

"Well if she...." Mr Williams words were halted by the sudden ringing of the automatic bell. "Yeah sure," Mr Williams quickly changed what he wanted to say. "Come over here and write down your names."

Before I could protest, Felix rushed to Mr Williams desk, and scribbled down our names. "But I don't want to be paired with Felix!" I yelled, but my plea turned into deaf ears.

I can't believe this, I'm being paired with the devil.
