                  ||Felix's POV||

Dafe and I were both seated at his expensive creamy leathered coloured couch, while Saviour happened to be at the kitchen, searching the refrigerator for more beers.

Dafe decided to host a bro night, just the three of us. His parents were out of the country - Paris to be precised, for a business trip this weekend.

Dafe held a bottle of beer and gulped the content down his throat. He got hold of the remote and switched the channel to a music video. We both watched as three hot girls caresses Chris Brown's body.

"Damn," Dafe exclaimed, as he spotted a sexy hot chick in a bikini. "I'll give anything to get into that TV."

"A dream that will never come true," Saviour walked in and placed three more beers on the glass table.

"You're a kill joy o," Dafe hissed, then opened a new bottle of beer for himself.

"Let's do something fun," Saviour whined as he switched the channel to an action movie. "Come on guys, it's bro night."

"There's a pool at the back, go drown in it." Dafe said, as he snatched the remotes from Saviour and switched it back to the music video.

"Saviour's right though," I butt in. "We normally play games. The Devils baskets, truth or dare, Two truths and a dare. Let's make this fun or I'll just go upstairs to your room and call it a night."

Dafe groaned loudly, before switching off the TV. "How about a bet?"

Saviour stood up all of a sudden, almost knocking the bottle that was placed at the edge of the table. "That's true, it's gonna be Felix's turn, if we decide to do a bet."

Once in a while, we three normally make bets just for fun. First was Dafe, he was known as the lady's man. He hook up with lot of girls and dumbs them before the weeks runs out. Don't call him a bad guy, I mean the ladies knew that he was a womanizer, but they still followed him around like a plague.

There was this one girl named Melanie, she was as stubborn as any horny girl could get. She was so obsessed with Dafe, and wasn't ready to let him go. Dafe tried his best to keep her off of him, but his best wasn't good enough. So we had a bet with him. We told him to brake it off with Melanie in a super harsh way, or he pays Saviour and I, the sum of thirty-five thousand naira each.

So that did the trick, Dafe called it off with Melanie. She cried for some weeks, but eventually got over it.

Then, there was Saviour. We made a bet with him, telling him to go over to a tattoo parlor in other to get a tattoo. To our surprise, Saviour actually got into the tattoo parlor, and got himself a tattoo on his chest and upper arm. When his parents found out, it was super nasty. His father was ready to break his head, but his mother intervened and helped him. They both cut off his allowances and took every electronic devices he owned for three whole months.

Now, it was my turn. I knew I could handle whatever bet they've decided on, but that doesn't mean I wasn't scared.

"Alright," I placed a glass cup on the glass table. "What have you guys got?"

Dafe and Saviour shared a look, before looking back at me.

"So here's the rules, you're gonna do what we ask you to do. Failure to do so, you'll have to pay us each, Fifty thousand naira. So, that's gonna make it a hundred thousand naira." Saviour instructed.

"Just tell me so I can get it over with," I deadpanned.

Saviour chuckled a bit, before clearing his throat. "You're going to let Eno fall in love with you within a month. And at the end of the month, we would need a prove that state that she has already falling in love with you."

I creased my brows at him, "Don't kid around, Saviour. If you've haven't noticed, Eno and I, despised each other. So, that bet is anything but possible."

Saviour diverted his attention to Dafe, who was scrolling down his news feed on Facebook. "I guess we're each going to be fifty thousands naira richer."

Dafe chuckled, then glanced at me. "I knew he couldn't be a bad ass that could make the impossible possible. Let's face it, Felix isn't brave."

"I am brave," I snapped all of a sudden.

"Yeah, Felix is a chicken." Saviour climbed on Dafe's expensive looking couch, then began to flap his hands like a chicken. "Bwack! Bwack, Bwack! Bwack!!"

"I'm no chicken," I flared up, anger already sipping into my system.

"Don't worry Felix," Dafe said holding a beer. "We knew you won't be able to do the bet."

I stood up promptly, as I looked at Dafe, then at Saviour. "I can do it, I can do the freaking bet!" I declared. But then it hit me, and I stopped to look at them. "Did you guys just used reverse psychology on me?"

Within seconds, Dafe and Saviour, erupted into laughter. "And he's meant to be the smartest?" Saviour commented, still laughing.

"Congratulations, both of you are officially smart." I scoffed, then sat back on the couch. I wasn't angry, in fact I was proud. Dafe and Saviour, weren't the type to think in situations like this. "Alright, I'll let Eno....." I closed my eyes, before spitting out the worst thing that could ever come out of my mouth. "..... Fall in love with me."

Saviour and Dafe fist bomb each other with so much excitement. "I'm gonna be fifty thousand richer!" Exclaimed Dafe.

"And why'd you say that?" I got hold of the TV remote, and switched on the TV.

"Like you said," Dafe walked up to me, and swung his hands on my shoulder. I knew he was already drunk. "Letting Eno, fall in love with you is almost impossible. There's a ten percent chance that you'd actually succeed."

Saviour laughed loudly at Dafe's words, while I threw my head back as a loud groaned escaped my mouth.

Welcome to my life.

                              β€’ β€’ β€’

Rinnggggg! Rinnggggg!

"Arrrrghhhh!" I groaned in a loud voice, before flinging the alarm clock to God knows where. Going to bed at night was the hardest tasks ever. But waking up the next morning was almost impossible.

After battling with my mind, I got up from my bed and walked into my adjoined bathroom. Within fifteen minutes, I was done having my shower. I wrapped a white towel around my waist, then used the hair dryer to dry my wet over grown hair.

Monday, every week days nightmare. And worst, I had practice after school. Who in their right senses, would put a running practice on Monday?!

I walked towards my wardrobe, grasp my school uniform, which consist of white inner long sleeves, black long sleeves jacket, with the school's logo imprinted on it, and a black tailored penciled trouser.

After putting on my uniform, I got hold of my backpack and ran out of my room, shutting the door behind me.

"Morning mum," I greeted as I approached the dinning room. I flung my backpack on the dining table, eager to get mum's creamy pie into my mouth.

"School bags stays on the floor, close to your dining seat." Mum instructed with a playful smile plastered on her lips. She got hold of my backpack, and placed it close to my seat.

"Where's dad?" I asked, then took a bite from my pie.

"He had lots of work to do so...." Mum gulped down the lump on her throat. "He slept at his office."

I angrily slammed the pie back on my plate, "Stop finding excuses for him, mum! We both know he slept at his secretary's place!"

"Felix," Mum scolded, "Don't start throwing accusations!"

"It's true and you know it! Dad has been...." I stopped myself, before going to far with my words. "I'll be leaving now." I pushed my dining chair a little, to create space for me to get up. I got hold of my backpack, then hung it on both shoulder. "Bye mum."

"But you haven't___"

"You can have the rest mum," I cut her short. I walked over to her and placed a small kiss on her left cheek. "Bye mum."

Mum nodded slightly, "Bye sweetheart, have a nice day at school."

I walked out the mansion and went straight to where my car was parked. Elvis, my designated driver could be seen cleaning the tires. As if sensing my presence, he lifted his head to look at me. Once he confirmed it was actually me, he left what he was doing and ran towards me.

"Ready sir?" Elvis asked and I nodded at him. "This way sir." He gestured for me to follow him. Once in front of my car, Elvis opened the back seat and I got in.

Twenty minutes later, I was already at the school's premises. I got down from my car and waved Elvis, goodbye. I looked around, and quickly spotted Saviour and Dafe. Saviour was trying to place his hands around Dafe's shoulder, while Dafe was busy shrugging it off of him. I laughed a little, before going over to both guys.

"Hey guys," I said to both Saviour and Dafe, before doing our secret bro handshake.

Dafe who was observing me, decided to speak. "Why's your face like that?" I shook my head, shrugging off his questions.

We all were about taking a step into the school's building, but stopped when we saw a car drove into the school's parking lot. We all knew the owner of that vehicle, that was Eno's car.

"Here comes our hundred thousand naira," Saviour nudged me.

"Shut up," I shush him. We watched as the door to the back seat flew open, and out came Eno. Our eyes flew open, as we witnessed the other girl that came out of the car after Eno.

"Isn't that__"

"Yeah," I nodded my head at Dafe, who was still looking at both girls.

"Wow," Dafe exclaimed, "Beauty does runs in their family." Our eyes followed both girls as they walked passed us, and entered into the school's building.

"That's our hundred thousand naira walking away like that." Saviour tapped me on the shoulder. "Go say hi, if you actually want to win the bet."

"Kill me," I commented in a loud tone, so they could see my frustration. I walked into the building, and saw Eno talking to Sofia and the head girl. Her sister was also by her side.

Here goes nothing.

I walked over to the girls and at the same time, thought of what I would say once I get there.

"Hi....." I began, once I stood in front of the four girls. But my eyes landed on Eno's sister, instead of Eno. "..... Emem."

"Hey," Emem smiled at me. I could see that her eyes were focus on my face, and her brows were knitted in confusion. She might not have recognized me.

"Typical," Eno voiced out, then walked out on her friends.

Shit! I blew it.

"Bye," I quickly waved at Emem, then ran after Eno.

"Hey, Eno wait!" I yelled after her. I felt a triumphant smile crawled up my lips, when I saw Eno stopped on her track. She turned around to look at me. And when I thought I was making progress, she surprised me by giving me the middle finger, before walking away.

This is going to be harder than I thought.
