Kang Enterprise was getting greater and greater day by day. It was gaining the fame it deserved. The uncountable part time jobs and secret business mind and plans didn't go in vain.

Mystery stays as mystery. Kang Sohyun being a mastermind, had planned all of this since years. The fire inside her hasn't calmed down yet.

The security around her is tight. She isn't meeting up with people. But if she is doing so, she makes sure to hide her face.

"Miss Kang, your meeting with the model for marketing purposes is in 5 minutes. She is waiting outside. Should I call her inside?" Assistant Ryujin reminds her boss.

Sohyun takes a look at her wrist watch and nods at the proposal. Shin Ryujin doesn't waste any time. She steps out of the office to bring the person.

Sohyun had planned in mind already that she was going to make a deal with the model just as she had made a deal with Choi Beomgyu for 'Verizon'.

But when her expected guest stepped inside, Sohyun's head had gone blank in a second. She removed her glasses and scarf immediately.

Her expected guest, the female model makes eye-contact with her. And she halts on her steps too.

"Sohyun, is that you?" the words leave her mouth.

"... Jihyo? What are you doing here?!" Kang Sohyun sounds excited.

Meet Park Jihyo, Sohyun's college friend. She was always like a model of Seoul National University and her ambition was becoming the most popular model too. Seems like she also succeeded at her dream.

The one person not getting any clue of the situation, Ryujin's face also directs one word- "Dumbfounded".

"You are the model?! Park Jihyo?!" Sohyun still can't believe that.

"Yes!! And you are the CEO?!" Jihyo also can't believe the fact. "Omo, I missed you!" Sohyun jumps to give a tight hug to Jihyo.

"Me too! Please, sit", the CEO in her comes out. "How have you been?"

"Very well. And you?"

"Can't be better. How many years have gone by? Five? Gosh!" Sohyun exclaims.

"Really! But where did you disappear then?" Jihyo had no hint on why Sohyun had left everything in the past.

"Uhh, things happened. But everything's fine now as you can see", Sohyun laughs with the answer.

She then introduces Ryujin to her. "Don't worry, she might not recognize your face but she surely remembers your name and your stories as I have shared everything to her"

Suddenly the room had turned into a gossip corner. Like a girl gang gossiping. Everyone had felt the urge to forget professionalism for a bit.

"Man, that party night was hilarious, you remember?" Sohyun was remembering every moment with Jihyo together.

"Girl, say it no more. You were on fire that day"

"And it was all because of you, my Jihyo!"

A birthday party it was. Kang Sohyun was still a freshman that time. But she was getting to know everything around her gradually. Most of the fangirls in the campus used to keep a distance with her as she had caused chaos on the very first day of college.

However, Park Jihyo had decided to befriend with her. Cause Sohyun had seemed pretty brave to her. Jihyo was like the dream girl of the college. Every boy would die for her. But unfortunately she had a boyfriend just like her, one of the dream boys of the campus.

It was one day of the year when it was the birthday of Jihyo's boyfriend, Kang Daniel. Both Daniel and Jihyo were close with BTS. On his birthday, he had invited his friend squad at his house for a grand party.

Kang Sohyun was waiting outside her house for Jihyo to pick her up at evening on that day in loose jeans, sweatshirt and glasses, like her everyday fashion, nothing new. Jihyo arrived there while driving her car. When she stopped in front of Sohyun, she rolled down the window only to check out her.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Sohyun was bored enough.

"Don't tell me you are going to the party like this?" disbelief clear on Jihyo's voice. Cause she herself was in a classic modern fit. With the popular sparkly top and skirt also wearing the most stylish pair of sunglasses.

"I mean yeah, cause I am not comfortable in wearing anything else. And my parents will kill me if they learn about me going to a party. I literally gave them the excuse that we are doing a group study?" Sohyun explains herself.

"Hop in. I need to do an experiment now", Sohyun looks at her weirdly but hops in anyway.

"Where are we going?" Sohyun could feel the route familiar.

"My home"

"What?! Why? We will be late!"

"We won't!" Jihyo ensures and they speed up.

Jihyo is a makeup expert. She is famous in the college for this. She is so expert that she saves time in this case.

She was almost done with Sohyun even if the scared girl protested on that.

"Now look at yourself!" Jihyo was satisfied enough with the results. Sohyun was in one of her party outfits. She opened her eyes after the liquid liners had dried up and she experienced a very new version of herself.

Sohyun was looking at herself in the mirror as if she was a princess. She never got ready like this so she was stunned at herself.

"See girl, you are going to snatch hearts today!" Jihyo's compliment made her blush.

But she was eagerly wanting to see someone specific. That specific person had come up to her a week ago, only to get introduced. But he was stuttering so much that his senior had to complete his verse. She had found that cute honestly. Sohyun was losing herself in imagination as what that specific person will think after seeing her like this.

"Lessgo! We are late", Jihyo again doesn't waste any time.

Inside Daniel's big mansion house, all his college friends were already enjoying the party. Some were in groups, some in couples.

"Yo brother, happy birthday!" Kim Taehyung had walked up to Daniel along with BTS only to wish his friend as both of them were in same class.

"Happy Birthday buddy!" Park Jimin also gives a brotherly hug to him.

Other members of BTS greeted afterwards. Everyone was in modern formal wears. With simple yet dashing outfits which made them look hot easily. Girls were drooling.

"When are you cutting the cake bro? We are hungry af", Taehyung was acting out how much hungry he was.

Daniel laughs at his reaction, "Just in some time. Jihyo is coming with her new friend. Oh look, they are here!"

Jihyo's car stopped at the gate. As if the dreamy movie scene, the surrounding stopped, nothing moved, the girls entered the mansion. Everyone else had mouths hung. Jihyo herself was the queen. But she came with her badass bestie today. Sohyun was looking even prettier than Jihyo and Jihyo also agreed on that.

"Hey Dan, Happy Birthday", Jihyo ran to to her boyfriend leaving Sohyun some steps behind. She gave a peck on Daniel's cheek which gave a corny feeling to Sohyun.

Sohyun was never used to couple things. She was never in a relationship before. She had never kissed or had any kind of skinship. However, she didn't lose the attention there.

"So Kang Sohyun it is!" Kim Namjoon comes up to greet her. Taking one of her hands, he placed a soft kiss on her back of her hand, "You are looking beautiful today, not gonna lie".

Sohyun got butterflies.

Kim Seokjin also came up and greeted her with compliments.

Jeon Jungkook was also there feeling disturbance inside. Something about his hyungs complimenting her made him uncomfortable. A sense of jealousy for the first time? Maybe.

On top of that when even he couldn't deny the fact that he was seeing Sohyun as a wholly different person since he had been observing her since the first day.

He believed Sohyun didn't forget him there as they had a weird conversation last week. He was quite embarrassed about the situation.

But not getting any attention at present, he left the place as his introvert-self appeared again.

Though Kang Sohyun enjoyed those compliments, her eyes were searching for Jungkook there. But he had left.

The cake got cut, Jihyo and Daniel shared a french kiss after that with champagne bottles opening up and crowds screaming. All of this was very unfamiliar to Sohyun. So she tried to enjoy too.

But the party was getting steamy. Everyone was drinking. But Sohyun would never touch the bottle. She feared her family a lot.

Gradually she came up to a pool side area, where she was alone with a bowl of chips in hand. She was getting bored. Her eyes were still searching for that one person.

But fate wasn't going according to her wishes and urges.

Gradually she was tired already witnessing the same scenarios going on like a déjà vu. She was left alone at the end. And she could feel the time passing. The night was getting darker and darker. She was thinking of going back home, where Jihyo was supposed to drive her back.

However, during the search for Jihyo amongst all her drunk classmates, she finds her with Daniel in the kitchen.

But when she takes steps forward, she was disgusted at the scene. Jihyo and Daniel there were inside each other's mouth. They were making out on top of the kitchen counter.

"Jihyo, when are we going back?" she didn't want to disturb them but there was no other way.

At first, the couple couldn't even hear them. But after they stood up, they were running towards a bedroom.

"Jihyo! Are you seriously going to be like this?", Sohyun was almost at the verge of crying.

"Sorry, baby, but I know you understand", and the couple closes the door in front her face.

"B-but you were supposed to drop me home!" Sohyun whisper yells to herself.

"Girl you ditched me so badly that day!" Sohyun reminds the past story to Jihyo.

"Trust me Sohyun, I had no intention. But I know you understood the heat of the moment, lmao", Jihyo laughs out loud.

The story even makes Ryujin laugh.

"So how is Daniel oppa now?"

"... We broke up. But we both had agreed on that. He has someone and I am also dating!"

"Okay girls, you both continue. I will be doing my work now", Ryujin gives them privacy and leaves.

After the office hours, Jihyo had left. But Sohyun neither finds her car nor Ryujin. Eventually she calls her.

"Bae, where are you?"

"Sohyun-ah, the car had some issues this morning and the mechanic here is saying it will take a day more to repair it fully. You wait there. I am coming with a taxi"

Usually Sohyun and Ryujin live together. So they use same transport. Ryujin drives in her case.

"No, Ryujin-ie, you leave for home. I can take a taxi by myself", Sohyun suggests and cuts the call.

While she wander nears the street, a car stops near her.

"Boss, you seem to have transport issue?" a male colleague of hers it seems. Sohyun nods with a worrisome smile.

"In that case, I can drive you home if you don't mind", the offer fastens Sohyun's heartbeat as it's the very 2nd time someone has asked to drive her back home.

The words seem to have a huge effect on her, as she loses the smile gradually.
