𝔵𝔵𝔳. Edward and His Stupid Human Girl

CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE
EDWARD AND HIS STUPID HUMAN GIRL

EDWARD was making the wrong decision.

Stupid for Thea to believe anything that came out of that boy's mouth when it came to Isabella Swan. He said they shouldn't be friends, yet here he is, standing by the salad bar and talking to her.

Is it the chase? Is it because he is unable to read her mind that he is 10 times more curious of this human?

"Do you think he's going to tell her?" Rosalie breaks the family's silence at the lunch table.

"He wouldn't." Emmett shakes his head.

Thea scoffs, "I don't know. He seems to be doing a lot of things that I would've claimed he'd never do."

Thea heard Bella invite Edward to La Lush, to which he replied "It's just a little crowded."

Thea rolled her eyes. If she was human, she knows she would be at that beach every single day. Thea loved beautiful sceneries and the most beautiful one, she just so happens to not be able to enter into because of being a vampire.

"Can I have the keys to the jeep?" Thea asks her brother, to which he picks them from his pocket.

"Everything okay?" Emmett was quick to worry.

"Yeah, I just can't stay in this cafeteria." Thea scoffs, her reasoning clearly being Edward and Bella.

Alice follows after her, they reach the parking lot. "Thea."

"Alice, I love you, but I don't want to hear some speech about how I need to calm down or about how I'm overthinking this entire thing." Thea sighs, unlocking the jeep and sitting in the driver's seat while Alice takes the passenger seat.

Alice shakes her head, "I was going to ask if you wanted to talk about it."

"I have talked about it." Thea claims, "on multiple occasions."

"You know this can get us killed right?" Thea raises a brow, "This is putting everyone at risk, including Isabella!"

"She doesn't know."

"Not yet." Thea scoffs, "That girl is smart but she's also too damn curious for her own good. She doesn't know what she's getting herself into and Edward is just leading her on to believe they can be friends—I mean—it's reckless!"

Alice doesn't try and change Thea's mind, it is best to just comfort her mate in her time of stress.

Thea was now looking out the window but also holding Alice's hand. "...I don't want us to be a part of a coven where we're at risk."

Alice frowns, "what are you saying?"

"I'm saying Edward needs to get it together...or I will for him."

The next morning was a sunny day in Forks, which only meant one thing, no school. Thea took the time to call Carmilla since she hadn't spoken to her in a few weeks.

"How's my favorite gal doing?" Carmilla was smiling on the other end of the line.

"Don't let Tanya hear you say that." Thea grins.

"Don't worry, I've already told her that I would never cheat...but if I were to, it would be with you." Carmilla jokes, to which they both laugh. "So what's up? Why'd you call?"

"Things have been a little...stressful lately." Thea starts, "I've been trying to deal with them like you've taught me but I've just been a little more anxious than usual."

"Well, what's the problem?"

"There's this girl...Isabella."

"Thea, are you cheating on Alice?"

"What?! No!" Thea exclaims, "Just listen. There's this girl, Isabella, she's a human and we believe Edward's blood singer."

"Oh, dear." Carmilla was heard mumbling.

"Edward saved her from this accident and she saw him. Ever since then, she's been wanting answers and Edward is being foolish and allowing it." Thea explains, "She's going to find out...and when she does, the entire clan will be in danger."

"Well...have you talked to Edward?" Carmilla questions.

"Yes."

"Carlisle?"

"Yes...but nobody seems to care!" Thea sighs, "Alice is seeing the better side of things, which I appreciate because all I see is the bad. The only person who seems to understand me well is Rosalie."

"Well, Thea, you shouldn't stress over things that are out of your control," Carmilla responds.

"But they can be in my control." Thea groans, "If Edward would just stop this craziness and leave that girl be, I wouldn't be having the conversation with you right now!"

Carmilla chuckles. "I understand that you are frustrated and believe me, you have every right to be. But you need to find a way to live your life without worrying about something that is yet to be, Thea."

Carmilla always seemed to be right in the past so Thea was trusting that she was right now as well.

"I hope you're right."

The entire Cullen family decided to go hunting together since they didn't have anything better to do for the day. Thea and Alice shared a deer that they'd caught and after they hung out more in the forest.

The sun had set and the couple was walking back home.

"We should go on our honeymoon," Thea says to her mate who was collecting a variety of flowers that randomly bloomed.

Thea and Alice never got the chance to go on their honeymoon. Their wedding was right before the school year started, so they'd promised each other they'd go sometime after.

"We can go directly after graduation." Alice makes her way back to Thea and places flowers into her mate's hair, making her smile wide.

Alice and Thea reach the living room where the family sits, Alice stops in her tracks. "Alice?"

The family turns their eyes to her.

Thea holds Alice's hand as she has a vision, the soft expression on the pixie's face morphs into a face of horror. Alice's tense body loosens as she closes her eyes.

Edward immediately jumps from his seat without a word, making his way outside to the car.

Thea's eyes were wide, "What did you see?"

"It was Bella."

"What about her?" Rosalie couldn't help but snarl.

"These group of men in Port Angelas were trying to hurt her."

Rosalie's expression softened as well as Thea's.

Bella deserved many things. I harsh talking to, maybe even a slap across the face.

But that...nobody ever deserves that.

Thea was relaxed up against Emmett's jeep, her arm wrapped in Alice's as they waited for the school bell to ring. Alice had a magazine in hand, she flipped through all the pages, marking on things that she liked.

Thea was listening to music, hoping that would drown out the sound of screeching students early in the morning.

"What is he doing?" Rosalie frowns.

"What is who doing?" Thea questions, her eyes still focused on the school building in front of her.

"Edward."

Thea's eyes snap towards the vampire. He was following behind Bella Swan, who was strolling into the forest.

Emmett grins, "Do you think Edward is finally about to get some after over a hundred years?" He cackles.

Rosalie looked annoyed, elbowing him in his side.

Alice looked a tad bit worried as well. "Why does he need to go so far off just to talk to her?"

The school bell rang and the coven parted ways off into the school. Thea knew she should keep walking, save herself some sanity. But something was telling Thea to see what was so significant that Edward and the human needed to go off into the forest.

So here she was, walking back outside to the parking lot and using her enhanced hearing to listen to their conversation.

Bella's voice quivered as she confessed."I know what you are."

Thea stops in her tracks. No.

"Say it...out loud. Say it." Edward whispers.

"Edward, what the hell are you doing?" Thea mumbles in concern. "Don't do it."

"Vampire."

Thea's eyes quickly veered from worry to fury.

They were all dead. And it was all because of Edward and his stupid human girl.

ragerwrites,           The Bella Bashing in this book goes crazy but it does make since for Thea and her POV, so it's not like I randomly decided to make my character hate on Bella just because.😭
