Yumiโ€™s screams echoed through the stark white room, a haunting symphony of despair. Her nails scratched against the pristine floor, her frail body trembling as she yanked futilely at the chains biting into her wrists and ankles.

The unrelenting brightness of the room felt like a punishment in itself, burning into her retinas, disorienting her further.

Days? Weeks? She had lost count of how long sheโ€™d been here, stripped of freedom, dignity, and hope.

Her throat was raw from shouting. No one came, not for her cries, not for her pleas. She was being punished. But for what?

The metal door creaked open, the sound slicing through the oppressive silence. Yumiโ€™s head snapped up, her dull eyes catching sight of Hoseok.
His expression was cold, detached, as if she were less than human.

"Ah, the princess awakens," Hoseok drawled, stepping in with deliberate slowness.

In his hand was a food tray, but his grip on it was loose, dismissive.
Without a word, he tossed a sandwich onto the dirty floor in front of her. It landed with a dull thud.

Yumi's stomach growled, betraying her. She hesitated, but hunger overpowered pride.

Crawling forward like an animal, she grabbed the sandwich, clutching it desperately. She bit into it ravenously, her hands trembling.

Hoseok sneered, his voice dripping with disdain. โ€œLook at you. The daughter of the mighty Beom-seok, reduced to a filthy beggar. And the wife of Park Jimin? Pathetic. Heโ€™d laugh if he saw you like this.โ€

Yumi paused mid-bite, her grip tightening on the sandwich. Slowly, she lifted her gaze, her voice hoarse yet steady. โ€œIf you were in my place, youโ€™d understand my misfortune . I donโ€™t need your pity, Hoseok.โ€

โ€œPity?โ€ Hoseok barked out a bitter laugh, folding his arms as he leaned against the wall. โ€œYou donโ€™t deserve pity, Yumi. This isnโ€™t misfortuneโ€”itโ€™s karma. Youโ€™re reaping the fruits of your deeds.โ€

Her teeth clenched. โ€œDeeds? What deeds? Iโ€™ve done nothing wrong except survive. Survive the hell others forced me into!โ€

Hoseokโ€™s face darkened, his tone sharp. โ€œSurvive? Donโ€™t make me laugh. You destroyed Aeraโ€™s life, Yumi! You stole her childhood, her family, and then acted like the victim.โ€

Yumiโ€™s voice rose, defiant and venomous. โ€œAERA, AERA, AERA! Is she all anyone ever cares about? Everything thatโ€™s happenedโ€”itโ€™s because of her! Sheโ€™s a curse, Hoseok. A parasite feeding off tragedy.โ€

Hoseok took a menacing step forward, his voice low and dangerous. โ€œDonโ€™t you dare twist the truth. You let everyone believe she was a murderer. You knew Beom-seok killed her mother, and yet you stayed silent.โ€

Tears of rage stung Yumiโ€™s eyes, her voice trembling with fury. โ€œI WAS A CHILD! What did you expect me to do? Turn against my own father? My own family? You act like it was so easy.โ€ Her voice cracked. โ€œI was terrified. If I spoke, I wouldโ€™ve lost everything!โ€

โ€œAnd what about Aera?โ€ Hoseokโ€™s words were like daggers. โ€œYou had everything, but you still let her suffer. You knew the truth, Yumi. You knew and did nothing.โ€

โ€œBecause she killed my mother!โ€ Yumi screamed, her voice echoing off the walls. โ€œEunbi, my mother died because of her. And Beom-seok? She killed him too. Aera is no victim, Hoseok. Sheโ€™s a monster. A bloodthirsty maniac who destroys everything in her path!โ€

Hoseokโ€™s jaw tightened, his hands balling into fists. His voice was low, but each word carried venom.
โ€œYouโ€™re shameless, Yumi. That โ€˜maniacโ€™ endured hellโ€”sold, beaten, discardedโ€”and still, she stood stronger than you ever could.โ€

Yumi chuckled bitterly, the sound hollow and mocking. โ€œStronger? You think you know her, but you donโ€™t. Everything you believe about her is a lie, Hoseok. One day, youโ€™ll see it for yourself.โ€

His eyes blazed with anger, his voice like thunder. โ€œYouโ€™ll regret this, Yumi. Mark my wordsโ€”youโ€™ll regret every single thing youโ€™ve said.โ€

Yumi smirked, leaning back against the wall. โ€œMaybe. But youโ€™ll regret trusting her. Your โ€˜goddessโ€™ is the biggest lie youโ€™ve ever believed.โ€

Silence hung between them, thick and suffocating. Yumiโ€™s chest heaved, the adrenaline of their argument leaving her drained.

She took another bite of the sandwich, her movements slowing as her face contorted in discomfort. Her tongue burned.

She froze. The taste of chili was overpowering, scorching her throat.

Her eyes darted to Hoseok, who stood with a cruel smirk playing on his lips.

โ€œWater,โ€ she rasped, her voice barely audible.

Hoseok tilted his head mockingly, his smirk widening. โ€œYou want water?โ€ His tone was almost playful, laced with malice.

He turned on his heel, walking to the door without a backward glance. โ€œEnjoy your meal, Princess.โ€

The door slammed shut, leaving Yumi alone once again. Her breaths came in shallow gasps as the fiery heat in her mouth consumed her, tears streaming down her face.

For the first time, she felt the weight of her isolation pressing down on her, suffocating her completely.

_______________

Taehyung slammed the door of his car, his eyes locked on the towering "Kautilya Law Firm building before him.

The feeling of rage that simmered within him felt like a wildfire, threatening to consume everything in its path. He stepped out, his heavy boots pounding the concrete, his chest tight with fury.

His hands twitched with the anticipation of what was to come, and his mind raced, unable to shake the image of what he had discovered-Suzy, butchered, her remains turned into the most grotesque form of food.

And Y/N, that cold, calculating woman, was the mastermind behind it.

Without a moment's hesitation, Taehyung approached the building's entrance, where a love security guard stood, oblivious to the storm that was about to crash upon him.

When the guard stepped forward, his hand raised to block him, Taehyung simply flashed a sinister grin and drew his gun. The metal glinted in the dim light, its threat unmistakable.

His voice was low, venomous. "If you dare stop me, the bullets will be aimed at your skull."

The guard, pale and trembling, stepped aside without a word, fear etched on his face.

Taehyung, without sparing a glance, stormed into the lobby. The employees froze at his presence, their eyes wide with terror.

Taehyung's voice sliced through the air like a blade. "Where's your boss?"

The room fell silent for a moment. Then, one trembling employee spoke up, pointing toward the elevator. "Top floor..."

Taehyung's eyes darkened as he gave a curt nod, muttering a low growl before heading toward the lift. His impatience was palpable, his every step resonating with fury.

His mind was consumed by the thought of Y/N. Today, he would make her pay.

The elevator dinged, the doors sliding open to reveal the long, sterile corridor leading to Y/N's office. Taehyung barely registered the ascent, his mind reeling with violent thoughts.

The woman he had once viewed as untouchable, now the face of all his pain and disgust.

As the elevator doors opened with a soft whoosh, Taehyung's eyes locked onto Y/N's office.

Without a second thought, he strode forward, his hand gripping the gun tightly. The moment he entered, his voice was a thunderous bark. "Where the hell is she?"

Y/N sat there, unbothered by the chaos that Taehyung had just unleashed. Her eyes met his, but there was no hint of fear, no tremor in her posture.

Her lips curled into a mocking smirk, as if she had known he'd come. "Impressive," she said, her voice thick with derision, "but not quite enough to impress me."

Taehyung felt his blood boil at her calmness. He marched toward her, the heavy thud of his boots echoing through the room.

As he towered over her, his rage reached a boiling point.

Without a word, he fired a single shot. The bullet shattered the glass of water that had been resting near her hand, sending droplets flying through the air.

Y/N didn't even flinch. Instead, she tilted her head and studied him with amusement. Her smirk widened, and she mocked, "Nice shot, but I'm not impressed. You'll have to do better."

"Why?" Taehyung growled, his voice harsh with disbelief and fury. "Why did you do it?"

Y/N's expression remained unchanged, as if she were speaking to an inconsequential pest. "Because I wanted to."

Y/N's expression remained unchanged, as if she were speaking to an inconsequential pest. "Because I wanted to."

Taehyung's jaw clenched so tightly that it hurt. He stepped closer, the barrel of the gun now inches from her forehead. "Don't play with me, Y/N," he warned, his voice low and threatening. "I'll shoot you right here, right now."

Y/N didn't even blink. She locked her gaze onto his, her eyes unwavering. "Then do it," she challenged him. "Prove to me that you have the courage."

A chill ran down Taehyung's spine as he stared into her eyes. There was no fear, no hesitation. Her calmness unnerved him, her boldness both infuriating and oddly captivating.

He pulled the gun back, unable to pull the trigger. "I'm not like you," he muttered under his breath, his grip loosening on the gun.

Y/N chuckled darkly, her eyes never leaving his. "Of course, you're not. No one can be like me. I'm a one-of-a-kind masterpiece." She leaned back in her chair, her posture relaxed, as if this was all a mere game.

Taehyung gritted his teeth, his anger rising once more. "Why did you kill Namjoon?" he demanded. "What did my family ever do to you?"

Y/N's eyes glimmered coldly. "You wouldn't understand. It's not about what they did. It's about what they represent. They represent everything I hate. And I will destroy everything that has anything to do with them."

Taehyung's fists clenched at his sides, his breath coming in ragged gasps.

His anger swelled to a point where he could hardly contain it. "I'll destroy you before you can destroy my family. You won't win, Y/N. I won't let you."

Y/N's lips curled into a sadistic grin. "Don't dream too big, Taehyung," she taunted, her voice laced with venom. "There are two things you will never accomplish. One, getting me. And two, destroying me. And trust me, trying will only bring you more pain."

Taehyung's mind raced. She wasn't like anyone he had ever faced. He had never encountered a woman so fearless, so calculating, so completely in control.

"What is it about you?" he spat. "What's your game, huh? What are you without Yoongi, without being his wife?"

Y/N's smirk widened, her confidence undeterred. "I'm a woman who caused havoc in your family's life without the need for anyone else. I stand alone, Taehyung. You can't fathom that, can you?"

The words hit him harder than any physical blow. Taehyung's shock was evident on his face, his mind reeling from the implications.

Y/N wasn't just responsible for Namjoon ,Yumi and Suzy: she had been the mastermind behind all of it.
Everything that had gone wrong in his life, everything that had shattered his world it all led back to her.

"Why?" he asked, his voice quieter now, the edge of anger replaced by a quiet desperation. "Why are you doing this?"

Y/N's gaze harden for a fraction of a second, but her voice remained as cold as ice. "Because when I do something, I do it fully. I do it with everything I have. Be it love or hate. And right now, I hate everything your family stands for."

Taehyung took a step back, his chest tightening as the realization settled in. Y/N wasn't just playing a game.
This was personal for her. And she wasn't going to stop until she had obliterated everything he cared about.

"I'll stop you," he growled, his voice low and dangerous. "You won't get away with this. You'll pay for everything you've done."

Y/N's mocking laugh filled the room. "Keep dreaming, Taehyung. But remember this: big dreams with a small status always bleed. And your family isn't as innocent as you think. There's more than you know. Investigate your own people before you come after me."

The words sent a shiver through him, unease creeping into his chest, Y/N's smile widened as she leaned back, clearly enjoying the effect her words had on him.

"The biggest mistake you'll ever make is trusting people. Trust no one but yourself, Taehyung. When you realize that, we can play this game. Until then..." She let the words hang in the air, her challenge lingering like smoke. "ย

Taehyung's mind reeled, but he didn't show it. He narrowed his eyes, his rage surging again. "I'll destroy you, Y/N. I swear I will."

Y/N stood up slowly, walking toward him, unafraid. She looked up at him with a challenge in her eyes. "Come at me, Taehyung. I'm ready. But don't come unprepared, because when you play with fire, you get burned."

He turned, his body tense, but not before he threw her one last threatening look. "This isn't over. I will make sure you pay for everything you've done."

Y/N's laughter echoed in the room as he stormed out, her voice lingering in his ears. "Keep your dreams within your limits, Taehyung. The only thing your family will be left with is guilt, and I'll be the one watching it all unfold."

The door slammed behind him, but the words she'd spoken-those deadly, chilling words- remained, gnawing at his mind.
