AUGUST 19 (FIRST DAY BACK IN BOSTON),

Kaia snacks on a small bag of chips as she watches the third episode of the first season of Stranger Things.

"Kaia get up we're going somewhere." Matt says as he pulls up Kaia from the couch. "Matt! I'm trying to watch this." Kaia exclaims as she tries to sit back down.

"But this is more important the the TV." he beamed, "And where would this place be?" she asks as she pauses the tv, "It's a surprise. Now get up we have to go." he answers hurriedly, "Fine hold on let me go get dressed." Kaia sighs and goes to go get changed out of her pajamas.

She changed into a red cropped tank top and some light and dark blue jean shorts and slipped on her Red Nike blazers (like the one Matt got) before grabbing her phone off her dresser and walking out to meet Matt.

"Good you're ready. Lookin' good by the way." he compliments as the two walk out, "Thank you Matt." she smiles at the boy as they get in his car.

After 12 songs from Matt and Kaia's playlist being played, the two finally arrive at a petco.

"Matt what are we doing at a petco?" Kaia questions with a laugh, "We are getting you a turtle." he answers causing Kaia's face to light up.

"Wait actually?" she exclaims, "Yeah now hurry up stink stick." he replies with a laugh and the two walk into the pet co.

"Hey I'm Tyler how may I help you?" one of the workers say, "Um we're looking for turtles." Matt answers.

"Ok. Turtles are right this way." Tyler replies as he guides the two down an aisle.

Kaia gasps as she sees a turtle she likes.

"Look at it Matt, it's so cute." she gushes and Tyler proceeds to tell them about the turtle and what kind it is.

Kaia decides on a red eared slider turtle then they move on to the tank and decorations. Both Matt and Kaia pick out a few plants and some small rocks for the bottom. When done with that, they get food and the necessities before checking out.

As the two are putting everything in the car, someone comes running up to them from the store.

"You forgot these." a different guy says, handing Kaia the bag of fake plants. "Oh thank you." she thanks, "Yeah no problem. Also, you're really pretty and I wanted to know if I could maybe get your snap or something." he replies.

"Oh um I have a boyfriend." she informs the boy in front of her, "Oh my mistake is it him?" he asks, pointing to Matt.

"Oh, no he's my best friend." 

"Oh so then what's your boyfriend's name?" he inquired, "Oh uh Hudson. Now if you don't mind we have to get going." Kaia answers hurriedly, "Oh uh okay. Bye have a nice day." the guy replies then walks away.

Kaia replies with a small "Mhm you too." before getting in the car along with Matt.

"You didn't tell me you had a boyfriend." Matt remarked, pulling out of the parking space. "I don't. I just wasn't interested in him." Kaia replies, laughing at her actions.

 "Oh ok."
