Darkkit bounced when he saw his father, Gorseface coming through the entrance. He decided to suprise him now and got a flower he saw growing nearby the medicine den. "Gorseface! Over here!" Darkkit called to his father. Gorceface quickly went to put down the prey he was carrying and padded over to Darkkit. Gorceface looked at the beautiful, white tulip and smiled. "Thank you Darkkit" Gorceface purred. "I'll be right back," he said and went to put the tulip in his nest and hid it under some moss. He bounded back to Darkkit and looked at him fondly."Tommorow your being apprenticed.Are you excited?" Gorceface asked."Yes!" Darkkit replied with a spark in his eyes. Darkkit poked Gorceface and said : " Your the hunter!" Gorceface raced after Darkkit and one of Whiteclan's elders looked at them as if they where mouse-brained. Gorceface kept playing with his son until sundown. Gorceface stopped abruptly and said to Darkkit " Ok, it's past moonhigh. You go to Brightgrass , she is going claw my ears off if she found out I sneaked you out. He smiled and walked towards the warriors den. Little did Darkkit know that was the last time he'd see his father.
