jaewoo bow for the last time to his fans, at the same time showing off the trophy that they got as the result for their hardwork. he kiss it, reenactment from one of the scene of his favourite anime, before turning around and spotting two of his bestfriend, dahyun and chaeyoung. they were busy saying goodbye to their fans that they didn't seem to notice jaewoo who sneakily walk to them. v who is nearby, stare at him with a wondering look but he doesn't pry further. jaewoo is always like that anyway.

"hm?"

"what?"

"why did you tap me?"

"what do you mean? i didn't tap you"

jaewoo plan was to prank the two girl with tapping chaeyoung shoulder and quickly shifting his attention to the fan, bowing to them with a stiffle laugh. some fans caught up to what his plan is but decide to stay silence for the sake of seeing their beloved idols interaction

"i swear, dahyun unnie. what is it?"

"what??? it's not me-- jaewoo ! you little rascal"

but dahyun seems to notice him as she punch his side gently with a frown. the guy finally broke into a laughter, follow by some of the fans who is watching them. chaeyoung stare at him with disbelief while dahyun is already beating him up

"sorry sorry ! i thought it'll be funny to prank chae, and i guess i was right"

"you just make me look like an idiot ! i swear I'll kill you someday"

"yeah yeah, all talk no action. by the way, congrats my two child"

jaewoo, as the older one, pat the two girl slightly on their shoulder, earning a couple of looks from the nearby idols. it's rare for skinship to happen on stage like that, except for a perfomance, so they're practically amused at how brave jaewoo is with rumour and such

"aren't we suppose to be congratulating you? 4 daesang in one night? damn, you guys are a monster"

"true, true"

"well what can i say. it's the power of bts"

jaewoo flip his nonexistent long hair, which make both dahyun and chaeyoung gawk jokingly. then, the three of them continue talking about their new year celebration and such before jimin came to them to drag jaewoo away as they have another schedule after the event so they have to tuck in early

"sorry I've to cut this short ! let's hang out some other time ! my treat !"

"you'll be dead meat if manager-nim hear you says that. now come on, keep walking. the guy's are waiting"

as his part finish, jaewoo took a deep breathe and steady his body. he has been feeling a little under the moon lately and today, it's the worst. he isn't in his best condition and that affect his perfomance badly. he's obviously not cool with it even though the member have been telling him that it's fine to be sick and all. he just doesn't want to let his fans down

"oh sh--"

"did you just curse at me?"

jaewoo literally turn so quick that eunwoo, who's the one poking him, flinch at the way his head turn. it almost seems like it will fall off of jaewoo body any second

"oh hyung. sorry, i thought it was jimin hyung. what's up?"

"I'm supposed to ask you that. you lost your balance while performing dimple right? what happen, are you sick? you don't look so well"

eunwoo stared at the younger with worries eyes and he pat jaewoo back as they slowly walk together to the other end of the stage. as a response, jaewoo only smile half-heartedly. he knows he can't hide how he's feeling from his friends but just to assure he is fine, jaewoo has to tell them a little white lie

"yeah, it's just a little headache. this always happen anyway so nothing too serious"

"that doesn't sounds so good jaewoo"

"i know. suga hyung says the same thing but i can't just rest when the other member is doing their best to practice"

"still, health come first. not to scold you or anything but you will perform your best when you are in your best state"

"right, I'll keep that in mind"

once again jaewoo smile to eunwoo, but this time it's more genuine. the older one just give him a last pat on the back before shuffling back to where his group is, at the same time smiling back at jimin who send him a big wave. jimin then stand beside jaewoo, slowly taking the boys arm and resting it on his shoulder

"you good bro? can you stand?"

"barely"

"what did i say about going too hard? you even have a fever jeez "

"says the one who always got sick"

"oh shut up. we're talking about you right now"

"yeah yeah sorry. so are we going to have beef after this?"

"no, you're going straight home"

"what no ! no beef, not going home"

"i really like communicating with others and making them laugh, especially with my friends. so when i met with my idol friends, i want to greet them too but because of the stupid rumour i can't. and that always make me upset"
