The sound of children laughing outside in the play area filled Mike's ears, followed by the chattering of familiar voices talking to his younger sister. He was standing near the window beside the care worker, glazing fondly outside at (Y/N)'s figure sitting with Abby at the table drawing, both of them giggling and smiling together.

"My Aunt doesn't even care about Abby." His voice states angrily, erasing the smile across his lips turning back to the care worker, "All she wants is the monthly check from the state."

The worker just listened with no judgement on her face, as Mike inhales heavily to collect himself and tucks his hands into his jacket pockets, "But, I mean, she has some good points, though. I'm hardly fit to be raising a kid." He talked down about himself, eyes flickering to his best friends figure outside, "(Y/N) is better to suit that role, unlike me."

"That's a good thing, Mike. You two balance each other out." The dark skinned woman remarks reassuring, lifting up a finger to point between them smiling, "And I know she, and a little girl would strongly disagree."

Mike's eyes softened on the Diaz's girl now swinging around Abby in her arms outside, the both of them letting out bubbly laughter, "Come on." He muttered defeated, a frown creasing his forehead looking away from the two, "Abby talks to air more than she talks to me. I could drop dead tomorrow, and she'd be too busy drawing to even notice."

"You know, pictures hold tremendous power for children." The worker hummed softly, nodding her head at the wall of drawings behind them than back to Mike standing in front, "Before we learn to speak, images are the most important tool we have for understanding the world around us. What's real, what matters to us most."

She purposely hinted at the young adult outside in the playground with Abby, which had Mike shifting in his spot, and she continued explaining, "These are things children learn to communicate almost exclusively through pictures."

"Yeah, her pictures mean something." He agreed in a mumbling tone again, tucking his hands more into the jumper pockets, and remembered all the drawings Abby that had done which were filled with him, and the Diaz siblings together.

"And who is at the center of nine out of ten of them?" She questioned in a knowing tone gaining agreement back from Mike, "Like it or not, you're her world." She smiled softly tapping the glass where the other two where outside, "Just like how (Y/N) is yours."

He shuffled in his spot again with a heavy frown over his forehead, sighing in through his nose, "But what if it's not up to me? My aunt, she's an idiot, but she's right." He remarked dejected, "No judge in their right mind is ever gonna side with me."

"Did you find a job yet?" She asked curiously fiddling with her fingers, causing him to stiffen knowing he hadn't, "Okay." She nods her head reassuringly, "That would be a good place to start."

Back at their homes now Abby was laying on the carpet floor beside Issac, who was eating a bowl of popcorn deadpanning at the choice of kids show on the TV, but yet didn't complain knowing Abby was the one who wanted to watch and he was just there to keep her company.

"I don't know how you watch this stuff, Abbs." He grumbled rolling his eyes, plucking up a hand full of popcorn into his mouth, causing it to puff up like a chipmunks one.

She giggled seeing her brother figures face like that, sitting up for a second to snatch some popcorn also, "Because it's good, Izzy." She huffed ignoring his offended look, and leant back on the floor watching the show.

Over at the kitchen table on two different chairs next to each other, (Y/N) moved her amused gaze away from the duo on the floor, and to Mike beside her, who was frowning holding onto Steve's work card, and had the telephone on the table also.

The soft glow of the kitchen lights illuminated the room as they sat at the circle table, their faces cast in a warm, golden hue. Mike's expression was conflicted, his eyes fixed on the work card in his hands. It lead to his new job as a night guard at Freddy's Pizzeria, a position that carried an air of mystery and unease.

She watched him intently, her concern for him evident in her eyes, "You don't have to do this, you know," She voiced gently, filled with genuine worry, as her eyes flickered back to Issac briefly, "We can figure something out. I can give you some of my parents' money from the inheritances."

Mike exhaled softly, his brows furrowed in thought. He appreciated her offer, her kindness touching his heart which it always did, but he couldn't bring himself to accept it, "I can't, (N/N)," He whispered still looking at the card intently, "I won't take that from you two, even though I appreciate the gesture."

Silence hung in the air for a moment, heavy with unspoken emotions. She reached out, placing her hand on his on the table offering him a comforting squeeze, "Everything's gonna work out, I promise." She reassured him, eyes filled with determination, "You won't be alone in this. Not anymore."

He now looked at her, gaze softening into a tender one. He found comfort in her unwavering support, a lifeline in the face of uncertainty, "Are you comfortable joining me on the first night?" He asked, voice tinged with hope, as he slips his larger hand into hers holding his gently.

A smile tugged at the corners of (Y/N)'s lips as she remembered a promise made between them in their childhood, a vow that had stood the test of time, "You and me, remember?" She stated softly, her words a reminder of their unbreakable bond.

Happiness lit up Mike's soft eyes, his face flushing with emotion. Without hesitation, he pulled up the back her hand to his mouth and pressed a gentle kiss on the skin, sealing their deal and reinforcing their shared commitment.

Letting go of her hand for a second he pulls back the phone off the holder it was on, as she slipped the card right in front for him to see. He shared a hesitant look with her, making her give him a determined head nod and a squeeze to his thigh just as he went to dial Steve's offices number.

(Y/N) was glad he was the one doing the calling and talking to the older man, as one she hated chatting over the phone, and secondly Steve gave her weird vibes from the moment she first met him. Than again she could just be paranoid and worried about Mike, and Steve would just be a harmless man who gives off creepy vibes.

Issac glanced over feeling how his twins was really nervous, mouth full of popcorn still chewing that down as he swallowed it greedily, and sent her a reassuring smile from his spot in the floor hoping to ease her.

It did a little bit knowing she had her brother with her also in the room, but the nervous feeling just spiked back up when Mike's voice filters through the room talking to Steve across the phone.

"Mr. Raglan, this is Mike." He greeted steadily placing the phone up to his ear, other hand slipping to intertwine with (Y/N)'s against the table, and she saw his face scrunch up at something Steve said, "Right. I was just calling to see if that job that you offered was, uh, was still available."

"Oh, it absolutely is." Steve's taunting voice travels through the speaker into Mike's ear, followed by a chilling chuckle, "Why? Have you had a change of heart? Or was it Miss. Diaz's persuasive skills?"

Mike's hold on her hand gets a bit tighter hearing the way the other male spoke about his girl, turning his head back to Abby laughing with Issac, than back to the confused girl beside him, "How soon could I start?"

The night settled over like a heavy velvet curtain, shrouding the town in an eerie stillness. Streetlights flickered, casting long shadows that danced across the empty streets. The familiar sights of the town, now cloaked in darkness, took on a mysterious allure.

Inside Mike's car, the soft glow of the dashboard lights illuminated the interior, casting a warm ambiance as (Y/N) and Mike prepared to embark on their first night at Freddy's Pizzeria. The engine purred softly, a reassuring sound that cut through the silence of the night.

Let me give you a little backstory. The place was huge in the '80s with the kids.

She glanced out of the window, her eyes drawn to the moon hanging low in the sky, its silvery light filtering through the leaves of the trees that lined the streets. The town, once bustling with life during the day, now seemed like a ghost town, its secrets hidden beneath the veil of night.

It's been shut down for years. The only reason they haven't given it the old wrecking ball treatment is the owner's a bit of a...

Mike's grip tightened on the steering wheel as he navigated the winding roads, his eyes focused on the path ahead, or would sometimes glance at her quiet self. The town seemed to hold its breath, as if aware of the impending challenge that awaited the two friends at Freddy's Pizzeria.

Well, he's kind of a sentimental guy, I guess.

As they approached the pizzeria car park, the place stood tall that pierced the darkness of the night. The building, once a haven of laughter and joy, now loomed before them like a silent sentinel, guarding its secrets that was left decorated in sticks and leaves everywhere, showing how longs its been someone has been there.

(Y/N) stole a glance at Mike, her eyes reflecting a mix of confidence and apprehension, as they shared a silent understanding. Together, they would brave the night, standing side by side as they confronted whatever lays within the walls of Freddy's Pizzeria.

With a deep breath, Mike parked the car, the engine falling silent. The night enveloped them, wrapping them in its enigmatic embrace. He was the first one out of the car, grabbing the bag from her as he opened her side of the door, and helped her out of the vehicle also.

Just can't bring himself to let it go yet.

The road beneath them was damp and wet from the previous time it rained here, their in sync footsteps echoing around the too quiet carpark around them, that seemed to go on forever. Hinting that it was very popular back in the older days.

(Y/N) wrapped her brothers oversized jacket around her body more feeling the cold wind nip at her skin, and wrapped her arms around herself keeping up walking beside Mike, who made sure to keep his side brushing against hers.

Her eyes glance over the massive pizzeria that was difficult to see with all the shrubby over it, and how it was pitch black. Just by standing outside in the parking area, she could already tell she didn't want to do this, nor go inside, but would push on for Mike. Anything for him. But yet, she couldn't shake of the weird feeling even just looking at the rundown place.

Their was also a massive sign on top of the roof that looked to be in pretty rough shape, and she wondered what exactly it read on it. Probably the name of the pizzeria, most likely or maybe a welcome sign that blinded guests coming it.

Mike unfolds the paper of numbers they needed to get into the place, written down on it from when Steve told them the information over the phone. He unlocks the lock on the chains around the barricade, and the chain drops to the floor with a loud clunking noise that had her flinching a bit on edge.

He went to take a step forward to the closed doors of the lobby, however, (Y/N) hesitated, her feet rooted to the spot. A gnawing feeling settled in the pit of her stomach, urging her to reconsider, telling her that stepping into that abandoned place might not be a good idea.

Sensing her unease, Mike turned around, his eyes filled with concern, "Sweetheart, you don't have to do this," He rasped in a soft and worried tone, "I can handle the shifts alone. You shouldn't have to put yourself through this if you don't want too."

Despite the fear that coursed through her veins, she shook her head, "No, no." She replied, voice steady, though she could feel her heart pounding in her chest, "I can't leave you alone, Mike."

His gaze softened, his worry giving way to gratitude. He understood the depth of her fear, but he also knew the strength of their bond. He took a step closer, gently reaching out to grab her hand fiddling with the jackets material, and intertwined their fingers with a firm squeeze.

They pushed open the creaking doors, their hands intertwined tightly with his bag slanged over his left shoulder, to make sure she was comfortable and protected in his hold. The darkness swallowed them whole as they entered, the echoing silence broken only by the faint sound of their footsteps.

Security system's dated by fully functional. Floodlights on the outside, cameras inside and outside. Fair warning: the electricity is a bit... iffy.

Over their heads was a passive way where it read WELCOME in a looping line along the threshold, and the light flickering behind them had (Y/N) gulping in unease, already not liking being in the place. It smelt so nasty as well, which was normal since the place hasn't really been taking care of for so long and left to rot.

Mike rubs his calloused thumb over her knuckles reassuringly, leading them both over to the employee section of the place, and pushed open the door by the handle to enter inside.

Glass crunches underneath their boots on their feet along the tiled floor while they walked through, making the duo pause for a second, "Scooch over for a second, love." He rasped in his tired voice down to her, and she listened moving away so he could flick away the glass with his boot away from her and him.

She smiled shyly in thanks grabbing his hand he outstretched for her again, and she took it happily. Going to walk forward again, her (E/C) eyes land on a worn out poster on a wall beside them in a frame, causing her breath to hitch seeing four animatronics in display inside.

Anything happens, there is a breaker in the main office. Just flip it.

The two stood in front of the panel Steve mentioned to them over the phone, Mike's spare hand placed on the switch lever to switch it from OFF to ON. Soon after the sound of everything firing up was heard through the building, and majority of the lights turned on inside and outside.

Uh, I guess that's about it. You know... the rest is pretty easy. Just keep your eyes on the monitors and.... and keep people out. Piece of cake.

She pressed the button down on the tape recorder that played back Steve's instructions to them, ending his scratchy voice through the static. On the other side of her, he flipped the switch for the low quality camera screen's that showed spots all through the pizzeria.

"I'm guessing we just sit here for a bit, and watch over the cameras-" She paused mid way turning her head to face him, and already saw Mike staring at her intently from on one of the chairs place there, causing her face to feel warm.

Once he noticed what he was doing he cleared his throat, flashing her a small smile patting the chair beside his in front of the desk that was messy, and full of all the main controls. She thought it was weird that there was specially two chairs instead of juts one, but pushes those thoughts back and sat down in the chair with a soft sigh.

(Y/N) made sure the door behind them was closed a bit so they could hear if anyone sneaks up, knowing it would creak to alert. She shuffles up her back on the cushioned chair, lifting up her legs to place them in Mike's lap seeing him motioning for her to do so.

He kept one warm hand rubbing up and down over her thighs comforting, and used the other to press on the control buttons of the camera, flicking through the many spots they were placed in, seeing nothing suspicious or off yet.

So, I will catch you two on the flip side. Hopefully.

Since there was nothing currently wrong within the pizzeria, he stopped looking through the cameras, and took a peek at the girl who was fiddling around with Issac's walk-man wearing the jacket's hoodie over her head, looking calmer now than before.

Cute, he thought to himself fondly with a small smile tugging at his lips, before looking to the side spotting something under the TV. His brows furrowed protectively seeing the tape that had, her and his name written on it that seemed to placed over another one, "The hell?"

This gained her attention from turning on the music from the walk-man, stomach twisting getting another bad feeling at their names on the tape, and watched Mike slip it into the TV to press play on it.

A funky tune was blasting from the TV's low quality sound now, followed by a title that read 'FREDDY'S SECURITY TRAINING' on the screen. A woman showing a fake friendly smile appeared next wearing the work outfit, "Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, a magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life."

"Yeah, totally magical. Not when the place closed down." (Y/N) muttered to herself grumbling at the video playing, a bored look over her face which had Mike chuckling and pressing a kiss to her temple to calm her down.

She sunk more into the chair embarrassed feeling his lips on her skin, loving how bold he has been the last few days, and decided to block out the rest of the video to focus on Issac's walk-man knowing Mike would gain all the needed information.

Mike would sometimes scoff or roll his eyes amused at what the woman was saying in the video, but a certain part had both their attentions again, "Let's introduce you to the stars of the show." Inside the pressed the SHOW TIME button, only for the tape to glitch out into a static screen not showing the four main animotricons.

This sent shiver down her spin which was one of fear for some reason, not enjoying how that seemed to be done intentional to block them from finding out. She pulls her chair up to him more, just as he goes to tap the side of the TV hoping to bring the video back on.

Which it did but completely skipped over whatever was supposed to be shown, and now it was playing something else to do with the pizzeria. Though not even a few seconds later, it was once more glitching which had her switching it off not wanting to hear it any longer.

"All right." He mumbles nodding his head, drumming his fingers along her legs some more. He stood up making her legs drop, watching him grab a flashlight, and turned to briefly glance at her nervous figure, "I'm gonna go check around the place. Do you want to come with, or stay here, love?"

(Y/N)'s eyes met his, her nerves palpable, yet her determination burned brightly. She shook her head, her voice a whisper, "I rather not be left alone, Mike. And I don't want you going out there by yourself either."

His loving smile lit up the darkness, walking back over to her, his fingers brushing her hair back with a tender touch. He reached out taking her hand with his spare one, the flashlight casting a flickering glow across their intertwined fingers. Gently, he pulled her up from the chair she had been sitting on, his touch offering both reassurance and strength.

Hand in hand, they ventured into the dark hallway of the pizzeria, their footsteps echoing in the silence. The beam of the flashlight cut through the black, revealing glimpses of the forgotten past – abandoned equipment and all the other things stationed around them.

The air inside Freddy's Pizzeria hung heavy with a peculiar mix of dust and mystery, the darkness swallowing the corners of the room like a hungry void.

Despite the fear that gripped her, (Y/N) found solace in Mike's presence. His grip on her hand was firm, a lifeline in the suffocating darkness. She cast a glance at him, their eyes meeting in a silent exchange of support, followed by his hand squeezing hers tightly.

His flashlight moved around the main eating area they were in, seeing all the booths placed there and left over masks of a yellow chicken that had her gulping not liking how it looked. The prices of the pizzas were also shown on top of the ordering station, and all the pictures children draw that hanged up on the wall in the middle.

"There's so many..." She trailed off in a low voice, heart throbbing at all the drawings off children with their parents, or with some unfamiliar animal figures that seemed to be in majority of them.

He furrowed his brows glancing over the pictures also, leading her more into the room carefully as he kept her close to his side, and used the flashlight to show what was in front, or beside them in the darkness.

The distant sound of something moving made them both jump. Mike tightened his grip on (Y/N)'s hand, his flashlight sweeping across the room, searching for the source of the noise. She felt her heart race, her breath catching in her throat, but she stood her ground, knowing that she was not alone in this.

I should of brought Izzy as well, she thought to herself going pale in the face, clinging into the male beside her not longer feeling hyper about being in the place. Than again she as glad Issac didn't come, because she didn't want her twin to experience this also.

"Hello?" Mike called out strongly pulling her behind his body protectively that had her gripping onto his jackets material as trails them over to the stage was. It was covered by a red curtain, and he also pulled that open wondering what was behind them.

The first thing they see is a massive bunny animatronic standing before them on the stage, making the duo both jolt back gasping startled. That same feeling she's been having since she arrived came back, and stronger this time the more she stared at the frozen machine.

"Cool guitar though. Wish I had that." She commented in a whisper out loud laughing nervously, trying to distract herself from the situation, and earned a look from him that made her instantly shut up staring at the figures behind the curtain.

The rest of the animatronics were revealed a bit by his flashlight traveling over them, being a brown bear and the yellow chicken from before she saw as a mask. The three were frozen not moving anytime soon, but (Y/N) swears she saw their eyes move onto her for a second behind Mike.

A chill raced down her spine, a primal fear gripping her heart. She could have sworn she saw the glint of movement in those painted eyes, a sentience that defied logic.

Stepping back in horror, she gasped, her eyes wide with disbelief. Mike, noticing her sudden distress, turned to her with concern etched on his face. "(Y/N), what happened?" He asked softly in a soothing voice, his hand reaching out to comfort her and stepped away from the closed curtains.

However, she evaded his touch, her eyes still locked on the animatronics. She couldn't bring herself to speak about what she had seen, not wanting to face the reality of the situation. Instead, she stammered, "It's... It's 6 o'clock. We're done for the night. We can go home."

Her words hung in the air, a feeble attempt to mask her fear. His worry deepened as he processed her reaction. He knew something had shaken her up, something she was unwilling to share, or in a different case didn't want him to stress about over.

Despite his concern, Mike nodded, deciding not to press her further. He could sense her unease, and he respected her silence, opting to respect her boundaries for the time being. In the dim light of the pizzeria, he gently took her hand, offering her a reassuring smile, even though his own worries lingered like shadows in his eyes.

Together, they made their way back through the haunted halls of Freddy's Pizzeria, their steps quickening with a shared urgency to leave the place behind. As they drove away from the pizzeria back home, the weight of the unspoken fear hung heavily between them.

Mike glanced at her, his worry deepening as he realized that whatever she had seen had spooked her terrible. In the safety of the car, (Y/N) finally allowed herself to relax gripping onto his hand tightly, but the memory of those animatronic eyes continued to flash in her mind.
