"DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH HIM!" Ophelia Snape shouted to her abusive father in rage as she walked in on her brother's yells of pain, and seeing him get beaten around by the oaf. They had suffered the loss of their mother's death and their father's torment of abuse, it started out as mentally and now it's been taken to physically. It started when the twins were both nine years old, now they are sixteen almost seventeen and going onto sixth year. She had comforted her brother when he had gotten bullied, and when he had lost Lily due to calling her a mudblood. She and Lily didn't talk anymore, not due to the awkwardness, due to the fact that she was Severus' twin and Lily well, she had made her brother depressed.

Ophelia wasn't a fan of the marauders, they had humiliated and ruined her brother's reputation, she would always step in and hex them back, she had a temper and she would not let any harm come to her little brother.

Tobias Snape turned around meeting eyes with his daughter who had her wand pointed directly at him. They were not seventeen yet in two months they will be, but she could still be expelled if she used it on him, since he was a muggle. The cruel man laughed and flung Severus to the ground by his neck and stomped over to his daughter who's eyes were filled with rage.

He grabbed her by her long brown locks, and started to hit her in the stomach and to her ribs. She coughed and lost her breath, but she held her ground, she wasn't a little girl anymore. She took her fist and hit the man in his throat, causing him to stumble back, his breaths chocked him, and she then proceeded to punch him in the nose, causing blood to splatter everywhere on his face, causing her to realise she broke it and then kicked him in between his crotch.

He was finally down wincing in pain, she helped her brother upstairs and sat him in his bed, and fixed him up, tears of anger and regret streamed down her face, as she bandaged around his ribs.

"I'm so sorry, Sev." She hiccuped, "I'm sorry for not being strong enough all these years." Severus has looked at her in shocked, and pulled her into a hug, which she so desperately needed and yearned for.

"I don't blame you, we were both weak, when we were younger, but you finally stood up to him, not like me though, I'm still weak and pathetic." Ophelia glares at him, "you're not weak and pathetic, Severus! You're my little brother and you should rely on me, now get packing, we have Hogwarts in two days, we will stay at a hotel until then."

"You're only older then me by an hour." He grumbles playful, earning a small smile from the girl. Sometimes it would shock Severus to see his sister smile, it was a very rare sight, she stopped smiling as soon as they attended Hogwarts.

Ophelia and Severus started packing their cases, she was telling Severus they were going to take the Knight bus to the leaky cauldron. That was where they were going to go, once she was finished, she helped Severus who of struggled to zip his case up. They snuck silently downstairs past their father who was still passed out.

"Nice strength." Severus joked quietly shutting the door behind them, Ophelia smirked and started crossing the street to the nearest bus stop, the girl rolled her eyes as her brother stiffened. She could clearly see the stop was right across from Lily Evan's house.

"Sev, stop being a pussy." She murmurs, and was about to say something else, but she noticed Mrs. Evans come outside with her husband, and Petunia and Lily trailing behind them, looking either worried or bored.

Mrs. Evans crossed the road over to the twins. "Hello dears, what are you doing out here, so late at night? Petunia was the one that noticed would you like to come in, and stay for the night?" Ophelia felt Severus squeeze her hand, looking down at his feet.

"Sorry, Mrs Evans, but we are actually gonna to take the Knight bus to the leaky cauldron, something came up and our friends need us. Maybe next time." She lied giving a fake smile. She had to lie or the kind woman would usher them into her house, since she was so welcoming and kind like that. The older redhead smiled and gave them both hugs, wishing them a goodnight, before obviously telling her family that everything was fine.

She could see Petunia walk inside, while Mrs. Evans and Mr. Evans offered them a wave, which she returned, and then nudged Severus hard, grabbing his arm forcing him to wave. They walked inside and called for Lily who was staring at both of them, Severus looked at his sister who soon tore her gaze from the Gryffindor girl who soon shuts the door.

They waited for about an hour until the bus whirled its way towards them at such speed. It caused both of them to jump in fright before the ticket man came out, giving them tickets, "to the leaky cauldron, thanks." She said, grabbing her brothers hand and sitting with him on the bed, staring out the window, ignoring everything around her.

patiently for me to repost the book! I accidentally ended up not being a HP or Marauders era fan anymore and I just forgot about the book until recently getting back into the fandom!
