"I-I like you, I like you so much, it's not even a joke anymore. First you're so beautiful, and I adore your personality." He muttered under his breath.

"And I know you like Megumi, and I know you'll reject me, but I don't care! I just wanted to let that out because I can't hold in my feelings anymore."

That made Y/n's eyes widen, blinking rapidly. Hearing his Words go through her left ear, out of her right.

"You like me? Me? Yuji, me?" She asked, pointing at her self, Yuji nodded. Looking the other way.

Y/n looks the other way, sighing. "You know I like Megumi."

"But he doesn't like you! Not at all! Why can't you just noticed the way he looks at Nobara? Why do you have to be so damn blind? Why do you always have to chase after someone who doesn't even want you?"

"Why cant you just understand, He doesn't like you at all, please, it's unhealthy to chase after someone who obviously likes your Best friend." He mumbled, his voice cracking a bit as he continued to ramble.

"I'm pretty sure he likes me, he's just shy-"

"No he doesn't! He likes Nobara! I overheard their conversation behind the school once." He explained, shaking Y/n a lot.

"But my best friend would never do that-"

"Anyone could do anything to hurt you, and you better not fight for Megumi." He said, looking down at her.

"A-Are you that jealous?" She asks, the response she got was getting him grabbing both of her wrists.

"Damn right I'm jealous, I don't wanna seem mean and rude, I'm sorry for what I said." He mumbled, gently caressing the sides of her hands.

His hands looked rough, yet. They felt so soft, gentle. That made Y/n's heart beat a lot. She glanced into his eyes.

Looking at his apologetic eyes, she sighs.

"I guess I really haven't noticed it, I was sure he liked me but I'm wrong." She groans, sitting up, Yuji doing the same.

"I like you too." She mumbled shyly, looking the other way, scooting closer to him.

Yuji's face went red, looking down at her, a soft look on his face. He really gets embarrassed easily doesn't he?

She caressed his jaw, her hands sliding over to his cheek.

Leaning in slowly, closing the distance in between them...

Ring ring ring!

That made Y/n pull away, flinching, it simply ruined the moment.

She picks up the phone, talking to the person on the phone. Yuji laid back, so lucky.

Sighing in relief, he was lucky alright. So lucky that his blood didn't rush down there, his mind did go certain places.
