CHAPTER TWELVE:
โ๏ธŽReady To Complyโž๏ธŽ

SHE WAS DRAGGED TOWARDS THE MACHINE, NO MATTER HOW MUCH SHE TRIED TO RIP HERSELF FROM THE SOLDIER'S GRASP, THEY ONLY TIGHTENED THEIR GRIP EVEN MORE. She felt fear surge through her body, knowing that this time they would actually succeed. No matter how desperately she didn't want them to, she knew that they would. They would succeed in entering her brain, tearing her mind and thoughts apart, and completely getting rid of the person that she used to be. They already altered her DNA, and now they were going to do even more to hurt her.

She was roughly thrown into the chair, the straps quick to tighten around her wrists and ankles, even going so far as to place one loosely around her throat so that she had even less of a chance of breaking out. She realized as she sat there that these people were scared of her. They were scared of what they had created, what they had done to her, and they were terrified that she was going to break out and kill them all on her own.

The angered doctor bounded into the room and the first thing he did was shove a mouth guard between her teeth so as to not break them when she clenched her teeth in pain. He placed the device on her head before quickly cutting it on. She could feel her brain fizzling each passing seconds. It felt like her head was being ripped apart piece by piece and all she could do was allow the forced muffle scream to leave her throat. She could faintly feel the prick in her arm, though the pain happening within her mind was worse than any unknown substance being injected into her blood stream. And before she knew it, she was passing out from exhaustion.

She had tried so desperately to fight. To fight against the strength of HYDRA, but she knew that this round she was no match. The pain was too great for her to focus her strength on keeping them from her mind. And the takeover happened. The last thought that she had was hoping that the Avengers were coming soon, and that she would soon be rescued from HYDRA's grasp. However, when she awoke, she was a completely different person.

She stood there like a soldier at attention. Her shoulders straight, face void of any and all emotion. Her short silver hair lay a few centimeters below her chin as her lightning blue eyes stared blankly in front of her. The man stood there, smirking in success. He knew that he had won. He knew that he had managed to successfully turn an Avenger. And he knew that there was a fight coming. He knew that Eloise was right and that they would come for her, because they always did. And even if he lost, it gave him satisfaction to know that he would be the cause for one of the Avenger's life to be over.

ย  ย ย  "ะกะพะปะดะฐั‚?" He questioned her, the Russian following easily from his lips. This was another test, to see if they had screwed her brain up so greatly that another language would be thereโ€•๏ธŽeven though he had a feeling Eloise was one of those that knew multiple languages purely out of boredom.

ย  ย ย  She didn't nod her head. She didn't blink. She didn't show him and sign of acknowledging him. And just when he was about to slap her across the cheek, her mouth opened and the words he had so desperately wanted to hear fell so delicately from the silver haired girl's lips. "ะ“ะพั‚ะพะฒั‹ ัะพะพั‚ะฒะตั‚ัั‚ะฒะพะฒะฐั‚ัŒ."

Within the span of thirty minutes, she was training and she was the best soldier out of all of them. Having already been trained with the Avengers, she didn't have to be taught anything. All of it came in an instinct. The knife throwing, the perfect aim, all of it.ย  It was something that had already been imprinted on her brain, a code almost of a daily training session she would always have either by herself or with another one of her teammates. That was the one thing they didn't get rid of herโ€•๏ธŽthe side of her that was already part killer. The side they wished to weigh in on and make her even more of a killer.

The sound of gunfighting and explosions going off outside made Eloise stop her training. She froze mid knife throw, snapping her head towards the noise before quickly walking forwards and ripping her knives from the targets before stuffing them in their respective pockets. The brainwashed woman marched down the halls, shoving past HYDRA soldiers that were desperately trying to clamber their way outside in order to defend the building. And the only thing on her mindโ€•๏ธŽthe only thing that was allowed to be on her mindโ€•๏ธŽwas to protect the man that had created this new version of her.

ย  ย ย  "Agent Gardner." His voice called to her and she was immediate to answer him. She walked down the hall, hair bounding on her shoulders until she found the man. She entered the room he was in and was quick to spin around and break the handle on the outside of the door before kicking it shut and locking it. The man didn't say anything, simply watched Eloise in her element as if everything she were doing was natural, like she had done it hundreds of times before. And for all he knew, maybe she had.

She grabbed her gun, cocked it, and stood herself firmly in front of the man, ready to protect him. On the other side of the door she could hear the footsteps. Pushing her hair behind her ear she was quick to listen in on the conversation, listening as one man muttered to another before they turned towards the room that they were held in. And with one hit of his pulsar's, the door flung open.
