"I don't know why I said it. It just...felt right," Jungkook explained.

They were currently seated at the pack house, discussing the events that had occurred so far.

"Well, Google's useless," Yoongi announced and chucking his phone aside, "Said we were mythological creatures for one."

"This is crazy. I mean, first, you're a human and our mate. Something that no werewolf has heard of before. Then, you're suddenly able to scent us and you recognised the head alpha of the pack even though you know nothing about werewolves and group dynamics," Taehyung cried, excitedly.

"I know, ugh."

"Aish, don't break your head trying to figure all this out right now," Hoseok said, when Jungkook buried his face in his hands, "We have other important things to discuss with you."

"Firstly and most importantly, you need to hide your pack mark whenever you're out in public. Humans won't take it well if they find out you're a werewolf or that werewolves exist and you're a part of our pack," Jin explained, stirring the contents in a pot.

"Second, no matter how close a person may be to you, never reveal our strengths and weaknesses to anyone. Don't tell your friends that we're werewolves either," Namjoon continued.

"Don't worry, hyung, I won't."

"Since you're a part of our pack, I think you should know of our group dynamics. Namjoon-ah, Taehyung-ah, Jin-hyung and I are alphas. Our wolves tend to get protective over our packmates and if someone tries to mess with the pack, our wolves get agressive," Yoongi explained and Jungkook listened, wide-eyed.

"Jimin and I are betas. We're more like the peace-keepers in the pack. We provide comfort to our pack members when they are in need of it. Also, we can read emotions well. We're able to feel what our packmates feel. Like right now, you're curious and a little excited to learn more about us," Hoseok said and Jungkook made an 'o' with his mouth.

"My wolf possesses the same power as Namjoon's. Mind control. We don't abuse our powers though. It's only when the pups or any of our pack mates here have trouble sleeping or de-stressing that we use hypnosis as a way to help them," Yoongi spoke as he helped Jin set the table.

"Accelerated healing is the power that my wolf possesses. I'm sure you know what that means. It's kinda self-explanatory," Jin said, as he placed a bowl of rice before Taehyung.

"Well, you remember how the first day you met me you figured I could change my eye colour?" Taehyung began and Jungkook nodded, "all werewolves have the ability to do that. It's not just me. Our eyes flash red whenever we get angry or protective or they turn a light shade of brown when we really adore something."

"Oh. So, what power does your wolf possess?"

"Psychometry."

At Jungkook's confused expression, Taehyung continued, "My wolf has the ability to view a person's memories and all the information about that person by just a single touch. I can even show a person my memories if I want to with a single touch."

Jungkook seemed to tense up at that.

Did that mean Taehyung knew everything about him?

Did he see all that Jungkook had been through in the past?

Had he viewed all his memories?

As though he read Jungkook's mind, Taehyung spoke, "I have control over my powers and I wouldn't abuse them. I haven't seen your memories or anything like that, Kookie. I wouldn't do it...Not without your permission."

Jungkook sighed in relief, "I'm sorry."

"Don't be. I just want you to know that none of us will ever abuse our powers on you. We won't force you to speak or control your mind or manipulate you or anything of that sort."

"Thank you, hyung," Jungkook whispered, hugging the older, who wrapped his arms around him and kissed his forehead, fondly.

"Jungkook-ah, I know you said you needed space to think about this, but you just quit your jobs...Instead of paying rent, why don't you stay here with us? We'll handle your course fees and everything else. You just concentrate on your education and we'll do the rest," Jin offered.

"Yeah, pup. Just think about it. If you get stressed with your work, we'll be here to comfort you. You won't have to worry about your meals. Jin-hyung will gladly cook for you and trust me when I say he won't allow anyone to help him, especially Namjoon-hyung," Taehyung began and Namjoon gave a cry of protest.

Ignoring him, Taehyung continued, "If you need help, we'll help you. You're not alone anymore, Kookie. Let us help you, please?"

Jungkook shifted his gaze to Namjoon, who sat silently at the head of the table. Seeing the nervous expression on Jungkook's face, Namjoon gave him a comforting smile.

"We'll take care of you, I promise. We want you here, Kookie, if you're willing to stay with us."

Jungkook nodded slowly, "Okay."

Taehyung launched himself into the younger's lap, causing him to squeak in surprise, before he hugged the younger tight.

"Yah! Be careful of your strength, Tae. You'll kill him," Jin scolded and the others laughed as Taehyung pouted.

"Welcome home, pup," said Yoongi and Jungkook's heart skipped a beat.

Home.

He was finally home.
