"What is stronger in our body
Than our heart,
Which shatters again and again
But still survives"

"Luna is everything alright? You are quiet since you came home." Jisoo looked at her best friend worried, "Did something happen at class today?"

"I don't give a fuck about the devil and his class. It's just tiredness, it'll go away don't worry." I assured her as I threw my backpack at the sofa and stomped towards the kitchen.

What does he think of me?

Just because I am a late admission and spoke back once, that too with the slip of a tongue, he feels I can't do my work seriously?

This time I was more than just determined. I will prove this man wrong.

"It has been many days we have not gone somewhere."

I was cut off from my thoughts as I heard Jisoo's voice, "Let's go out tonight. It'll be fun, also you will feel much lighter from whatever you are looking stressed from"

It wasn't a bad idea, I thought.

Earlier during high school, it was a regular ritual for me to hang out with my friends, sleep-overs, going to parties, clubs; moreover, I was a very outgoing and social person.

But situations do change people.

After my family's death, it has almost been five months, I had not met people except for the regular ones. I had distanced myself from all the things I earlier felt I couldn't live without, ever since my real sources of life were snatched away from me.

"Ok, I'll go." I heard Jisoo squeal with excitement at my reply. I smiled to myself.

Her happiness was infectious.

.

"Yah, I can't wear that"

"We are going to the club Luni-ah, not to any mourning session. You can't dress like a grandma there. What happened to the roisterer Luna I knew?" The elder girl forced the younger one into a knee-length black dress as the latter whined in disapproval.

Within fifteen minutes we were standing at the entrance of a clubhouse. The inside was blazing with loud music as I clenched to the hem of the dress Jisoo forced me to wear in nervousness. I had not been to a place like this for months. And somehow the incident earlier today had increased my insecurities. Even though after all those whining and pleading she had still managed to put some makeup on my face, even though it was the bare minimum.

"What are you waiting for punk? Will you enter after the party gets over or what?" she excitedly pulled me inside.

It was a big club with hundreds of people drinking, making out, dancing like maniacs and what not. The music inside was much louder than I had thought. I saw Jisoo move towards the crowd to find her boyfriend Sang-ho. I took that opportunity to slip out from there and found a quiet place at one corner.

Only a man was sitting there with his back turned towards me. I reached and took a seat beside him. The man turned his head towards me and bowed lightly. I did the same, not knowing who this was. But he looked gorgeous and had the most beautiful boxy smile I had ever seen.

"If I am not very mistaken, you are Park Luna right?"

Well, that took me off-guard.

How does this drop-dead attractive stranger know my name? Am I that famous?

Looking at my startled self he chucked, "I am sorry if I surprised you. I'm Kim Taehyung.

I was your father's assistant at his company. I never introduced myself but I saw you a couple of times when you came to visit him"

My face dropped at the mention of my father.

But I never knew my father had a secretary.

"I am so sorry for your loss." he decided to continue after watching me zone out suddenly.

"No, it's ok. What has happened cannot be got back; I am just trying my best to move on." I forced a smile at him. But from inside I knew that I was damaged in a manner that was beyond any kind of repair.

He smiled back at me. The waiter brought us two glasses when I was suddenly knocked hard in the head from behind.

"Yah, Luna where did you suddenly disappear to? I was so scared I thought someone kidnapped you or something." Jisoo looked at me annoyed for ditching her earlier.

I let out a sarcastic laugh at her comment "Oh, I thought you were so busy looking for your boyfriend that you didn't even notice my absence."

She scoffed a bit trying to show how disappointed she was only to earn a playful hit in the head. But soon her eyes went wide as soon as she saw Taehyung sitting and looking at us.

Sensing the sudden tension in the air I decided to step in, "Jisoo meet my father's assistant Kim Taehyung. And Taehyung-sshi this is my best friend Jisoo." He politely bowed and Jisoo repeated the action but still had confusion written all over her face. I gave her an 'I-will-explain-everything-later' look to which she nodded.

"Oh, I was here to introduce you to someone. Taehyung-sshi care to join us at the next table?"

"Sure, why not. I was all alone when I found your friend here. Since you are already taking my newly found company away, I wouldn't mind tagging along."

"Great, come over." She took the lead while the two of us trailed behind.

I stopped at the next table as I saw Sangho sitting with another man facing his back towards us.

I looked puzzled as the man turned towards us and my eyes widened.

Who other than -

Jung Fucking Hoseok.

I gritted my teeth at the sight of the man. The last face I wanted to see after what happened in the class today was standing right there in front of me to disturb the peace out of my mind. He smirked to himself before standing up to give me a sickly wide smile.

"Luna, I had no idea Hoseok-sshi was your professor. Then I guess it reduces my job of introducing you both." Jisoo smiled nervously thinking of all those things Luna has told her about a devil of a professor which she currently couldn't relate to the man standing in front of her who was also her boyfriend's brother.

"Yeah, I guess so," I said in an annoyed tone to which Hoseok just smirked.

His eyes traced from Luna and moved to the man standing behind her. He watched with his mouth slightly agape as he found this man strangely familiar to him before he again composed himself and put on a neutral expression on his face. Somehow, he was feeling something off within himself which he couldn't put a finger on.

"Professor this is my friend Kim Taehyung and this is my teacher Mr Jung" Luna introduced the two men standing opposite who were eyeing each other in a not-so-pleasant way. They shook hands for a very brief moment before settling down in their places again.

"Luna would you mind if I and Sangho slip off for some time. Umm, we have some friends to attend." she winked at me. I knew that was a lie since she wanted some private time with her boyfriend.

"I promise I'll be back early" Jisoo quickly added as she saw me glaring at her.

"Thanks, bitch for leaving me in such an awkward situation."

"Well, that's what friends are for" I got nudged at the arm as she made a cute pouty face to annoy me even more knowing that I hated it.

"Fine go. But I will sue you if you don't come back sooner or leave for home without taking me."

"I'm sorry. Just hold on for a few seconds I promise I'll be back super soon. Till then please don't land yourself in any trouble." Even though both of us knew that would never be possible.

She blew me a kiss before walking away with her hands tugged around her boyfriend's arm.

Defeated I came back and sat at the table beside Taehyung. Hoseok had stepped away for a moment because some important calls came. How I wished he had some urgent work and never came back.

"Why so serious? Is something's wrong?" he questioned.

"It's just that... never mind." I sighed.

Taehyung was very much fun to be with. Even though we had met just a few hours ago, his bright and happy personality somehow cheered me up. Despite being pissed at Hoseok's presence earlier I was still having some fun. We were giggling about something when Hoseok came back.

It was visible he was not very happy to see me sitting there smiling and happy since it was this man's hobby to piss me off somehow.

"So, Taehyung-sshi where are you in?" he looked at the man sitting beside me.

"I was working in The Park Enterprise, but due to the change in the ownership of the company lately, I decided to step out and take a break for some time. I want to use this time to pursue my dream in music. I always wanted a major in music."

"Oh music I see, and from where do you plan to get that?"

"Gwanju University."
