"Y/N!" TIMOTHÉE YELLED in a playful way as his girlfriend allowed the same song snippet to play for the 18th time.

"what?! i'm trying to learn the dance!" y/n said as she bumped timothée with her shoulder.

timothée laughed whilst rolling his eyes and then directed his attention towards the television, that was playing money heist, again.

he only got distracted when y/n removed herself from his hold to go place her phone shoved the fire place and the countdown for a tik tok started.

"now from the top, make it drop, that's some wet a** p**** ..." was heard as y/n rolled around on the floor making a complete fool out of herself with timothée laughing in the background.

"that was good....right?..." y/n standing and catching her breath as timothée laughed and shook his head.

"it looked like you were crawling out of the rabbit hole." the boy says while running a hand through his curls.

"yea yea yea, like you could do any better." y/n says reaching to restart the tik-tok.

"oh but i could." timothée says a smirk on his face.

at that moment a light bulb goes off in y/n head.

"oh really now. prove it." the girl says now wearing the smirk as she turns to face her boyfriend.

"what.? no. you're not ready for it." timothée says standing and walking towards the kitchen to retrieve some chips.

"oh no but i am. c'mon do it since you said you can." the girl pleads.

"not now. my bones need to warm up." the lanky boy says popping a chip in his mouth before exiting the kitchen.

"please for me! i'll teach you!" y/n begs some more whilst grabbing onto timothée's waist.

"but-" timothée starts but is cut off by y/n's pouty face.

he continues to try to get words out but is constantly thrown off by the girl poking out her bottom lip.

"argh! fine c'mon teach me the steps." timothée says placing the bag of chips down as y/n cheers.

the girl shows her boyfriend the steps as best as she could and occasionally showing him the video. after a few minutes the two stan a bit away from each other, the 'tick' sound leaves y/n's phone as the numbers count down in her screen.

once it starts the two are off to a decent start all up until y/n goes to try a spilt and so does timothée. y/n slips a bit and due to timothée's long legs the girl's foot bumps right into it causing her to lose her balance and fall right onto her boyfriend.

the two laugh like maniac's as timothée's arms wrap around the girl.

"sorry. looks like maybe i don't have megan-knees." y/n says as she rolls off of her boyfriend onto the ground next to him.

"it's okay i like your knees the way they are." timothée says turning to put his arm around the girl and his face in the crook of her neck.

"my knees like you too. wanna try again?" y/n says giggling.

"no!" timothée exclaims making y/n laugh and hold him even closer.

"being able to laugh with the ones you love, is like being able to breath in a room full of toxic gas. relieving." - my notes LOL
