BEING IN LOVE was never ashlan's thing. so when he looked at y/n and felt his stomach erupt with butterflies and his heart skip a beat he knew something was up. so he went to the people he felt would know best, is chaotic friends who had made themselves a boyband called, brockhampton.

ashlan walked into the house a nervous sweat enveloping up his hands. he made his way into the common area and was met with most of the boys sitting around minding their own business.

"group meeting!" ashlan calls and the boys look up in confusion but soon see the urgency in the boys eyes.

ian walks over to the steps and tells up to the boys upstairs. soon the boys gather in the living room, a few missing but most of them present.

"ok i've got a problem. y'know y/n right?" ashlan says standing in front of the boys.

"yea you're girlfriend right?" hk questions.

"no she's not my girlfriend." ashlan says with an eye roll.

"yet. she's not his girlfriend yet." romil says making everyone chuckle, everyone expect for ashlan.

"that's my problem." ashlan says and the boys stop laughing and look up at the boy with serious faces waiting for him to continue.

"i really like her guys. but you guys know i don't know anything about this love shit and shes so great i feel like she deserves someone who does know. i don't want to hurt her because i can't figure out how it works. i really care for her though and i really like her it's crazy. i'm rambling cause i'm confused but one thing i know for sure is that i want to be with her." ashlan completes his speech only for the boys to sit with their mouths wide open.

"what no one is going to say anything?!" ashlan says his eyes wide.

"umm ash,..." cirán says and then points behind the boy.

ashlan turns slowly to be met with matt who stands holding a bag of food with y/n by his side who stopped mid-milkshake sip due to being shocked.

"y/n- i-" ashlan starts but is cut off by y/n rushing up to him and wrapping him in a hug.

"ash you don't need to know because hell, i don't know either. but we have each other, we can figure out together. promise." y/n says and gives the boy a quick peck on the cheek.

"dang you're my dream girl." ashlan says leaning to kiss y/n.

the two's lips connect and the two pull apart with the smile on their faces.

"awe cute and shit but can we get back to playing mario cart now!" joba says motioning towards the tv where the mario cart theme song played on repeat.

"no." y/n says and ashlan laughs before he swoops her into a kiss.

the boys groan and file their way out of the room and kevin doan claps and awe's at pair before skipping out. the couple sit in the couch and began playing mario cart for themselves.

"and let the moonlight be our escape for under it i feel alive." - my notes HAHA
