"This is what become of those who cross the Witch."
I heard a voice speak. It was a fox.
"You take one more step traitor, and I'll chew you into splinters!"
Mr Beaver threatened the fox.
"Relax. I'm one of the good guys."
The fox spoke.
"Yeah? Well you look an awful lot like one of the bad ones."
"An unfortunate family resemblance. But we can argue breeding later. Right now we've got to move."
"What did you have in mind?"
I asked and the fox explained the plan so we climbed up a tree.
The wolves came out from the tunnels eventually and surrounded the fox. "Greetings, gents. Lost something, have we?"
"Don't patronise me! I know where your allegiance lies."
Maugrim raised his tone.
"We're looking for some humans."
The fox chuckled.
"Humans? Here in Narnia? That's a valuable bit of information, don't you think?"
And on of the wolves bit into the fox's back. (( อกยฐ อส อกยฐ) lol, sorry. Anyways)
Lucy gasped and Mrs Beaver had to hold back Mr Beaver from jumping and having a go at Maugrim.
"Your reward is your life. It's not much, but still. Where are the fugitives?"
There was a brief silence and I began to think that the fox would actually tell us that we were up the tree but thankfully he did not.
"North. They ran north."
The fox told them
"Smell them out."
The wolves tossed the fox and ran away. I quickly hopped down from the tree and helped the fox feel more comfortable.

"They were helping Tumnus. The Witch got here before I did. Ow!"
The fox exclaimed in pain as I was tending to his wounds, or trying to at least.
"
Well, I wish I could say their bark is worse than their bite. Ow!"
"Sorry!"
I appologized. I felt bad for him, the bite looked really painful.
"Oh stop squirming when Y/n's trying to heal you! Your worse than Beaver on bath day!"
Mrs Beaver told him off.
"Worst day of the year."
Mr Beaver muttered.
"Thank you for your kindness, your majesty, but that's all the cure I have time for.''
"You're leaving?"
Lucy asked very confused.
"It has been a pleasure, my Queen, and an honour,"
The fox explained, bowing.
"But time is short and Aslan himself has asked me to gather more troops.''
I smiled at the mention of my father.
'I hope he's doing okay at the moment'
"You've seen Aslan? What's he like?"
The Beavers asked. The fox smiled.
'hello?? I'm literally his daughter you could've asked me-?'
"Like everything we've ever heard. You'll be glad to have him by your side in battle against the witch.''
"But we're not planning on fighting any witch!"
Susan said.
"But surely King Peter, the prophecy!"
"They can't go to war without us!"
I said.
Peter sighed.
"We just want our brother back.''
