[How to fight loneliness] - [wilco]

As Jay left, Sora concluded her relentless sessions, a relentless force in the demanding field of psychology. She stood as the most dedicated practitioner in the department, achieving significant milestones at an age that others only dream of.

However, her success became a double-edged sword, fueling envy among her colleagues. This jealousy formed an impenetrable barrier, preventing genuine connections from sprouting in the hospital corridors.

Loneliness wrapped itself around Sora, a silent companion to her relentless work. She yearned for camaraderie, but her attempts to forge friendships were met with cynical eyes and closed hearts.

The bitter truth echoed: some people refuse to acknowledge their own faults, resisting the notion that they might be in the wrong.

Yet, amidst the isolation, Sora pressed on, determined to make a difference in the lives of her patients. The emotional toll of her profession was evident, but she soldiered through, navigating the turbulent waters of her career with unwavering resilience.

Sora, having just wrapped up her day's reports, strided confidently into Mr. Choi's office.

The atmosphere is strained, a palpable tension underlying their interactions. Mr. Choi, a skinny scrawny man in his late 30s, peered over his glasses with a critical gaze as Sora handed him her documents.

As he perused the reports, Sora braces for the forthcoming critique. However, his next words cut through the air like a sudden gust.

"I'll be taking Dani under my treatment from now on."

Fury etches across Sora's face, arms folding defiantly. "And why is that?"

"I do not approve of your treatment for her," he declared, his tone unwavering.

Their disagreement hangs thick in the air, and Sora, her resolve unyielding, retorted "I stand by my methods, Mr. Choi."

Silence lingered briefly, tension escalating, before Sora abruptly turned on her heel. The door slamed shut behind her, the forceful slam leaves Mr. Choi on the other side, his expression unreadable through the frosted glass.

She strode down the hallway, the rhythmic clacking of her heels echoing in the corridors.

In her office, she gathered her belongings, including her purse, signaling the end of the day at the clinic.

As she made her way out, her secretary approached and caught her wrist, prompting a glare from Sora.

Ignoring the unspoken protest, Secretary Jung suggested, "Let's walk back together."

The therapist, preoccupied with thoughts of how to regain the head department's trust, walked alongside her flustered secretary, Jung Sunk, lost in her own contemplation.

Noticing the woman beside him lost in her thoughts and struggling in heels, he interrupts her, saying, "Just wait here." He returns with a pair of slippers and hands them to Sora.

"Is this for me?" she asks.

"Yeah, change into them. I saw you massaging your feet earlier; they must hurt." He receives a smile of appreciation from her and squishes his cheeks. "Ahh, you're so cute. Your future girlfriend is really lucky."

As they finally reach her home, she waves him goodbye while Jung Sunk remains in awe.
