The Crown Prince of Desponia has been murdered.

The Astrean family wasn't unaware of the threats and enemies lingering in their court, waiting for an opening of weaknesses to cut their house short.

More than often the attempts proved to be futile however, and this assassination has terrified them.

Very few actually are aware that the Crown Prince was assassinated, the Astrean Royals telling the public that he had fallen fatally ill.

With only one son left to be the heir to the throne, the King and Queen are worried about the Second Prince's well being.

Placing him under more security measures would only result in alerting their enemy that they know of the murder.

And who can you trust when your home is filled with people who all may or may not like to see your family fall?

The King and Queen seemed to be at a loss, how could they possibly protect their son without falling three steps behind their enemies plan.

Until they remembered Solandis.

An ancient abode where children are raised from a young age. Excelling in things such as poison, stealth, combat, and much more. Becoming prodigy assassins or protectors. It simply depends on what side you're on.

As desperate as the King and Queen were, they promised a heavy sum of money should they provide someone that could protect their son.

Covertly.

Solandis was swayed by the money, and sent their best student to the capital.

Their plan was simple.

The student was to be sent into marry the Second Prince. A highly trained guard to be at his side during all times of the day. Acting as though they were a foreign princess from a kingdom across the seas.

Their mission was to look after the prince, use their skills to protect him. While also trying to discover who exactly was behind the murder of the Crown Prince.

The supposed Princess would act as though they were in love and smitten with the Prince, so no one would be suspicious of them.

Will the student be able to keep their identity under wraps while also protecting the Prince they swore to protect?

➤This would take place in a made up kingdom, so it's not fully fleshed out, but it would be fun to do it with another roleplayer

➤The consort does not have to be a female, although since it is traditional, it means that if they are a male, they would have to be disguised as a female

➤While romance would be easy between the Prince and the Consort, I think it would be fun to have it be just a platonic relationship between them as well.
