Mason was busy packing his bag so he could go see someone special,

"Someone excited to go somewhere?" Amelie teased as Asher nodded,

"If you two are going to stand there can one of you at least hand me my passport, my uber is almost here and I don't want to waste any more time staying here?" Mason had booked the nearest flight as he wanted nothing more than for Isabella to be in his arms,

"But watching you stressed like this is so very entertaining," Asher confessed as the older girl nodded,

"Please you've both already told me how much I fucked up so please can we just get this over and with." The footballer begged as the girls looked at each other,

"Fine, but you make this like zero fun," the medical student walked over to the file cabinet and grabbed the passport,

"Well I'm off then," the brunette smiled as he got up and zipped his bag up,

"Thank you," he added as he grabbed his passport,

"No before you leave I'm giving you a warning," the South African sent him a stern look as he stopped in front of her,

"You hurt her and I swear to god I will throw you off of the balcony the moment you get back," she warned as the boy nodded,

"Don't worry, I have no intentions of hurting her this time." The Mount boy nodded at the two girls before walking off,

"Oh he is so going to fuck this up somehow," Amelie confessed as the front door shut,

"Let's just be grateful that Isabella loves him too much to care," Asher responded with a laugh.

Isabella spent all of her free time in the small yet vibrant part of the city,

It was where Kennedy grew up,

Because Isabella figured to fight for the man's life, she nodded to know where and what he came from.

"I'm so glad that you are willing to come to see us," 𝐀𝐕𝐀 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐖𝐄𝐑 smiled at the young girl knowing that she was doing something well for her younger brother,

"Ma'am I couldn't come to see you, you are the one who knows him and how he was before he got sent to jail." Isabella sent the girl a soft smile as they were sat at a local barbecue,

"Charles never came down here after he first took on the case," she explained taking the blonde by surprise,

"Wow," he always preached that you need to learn how they were before they got in, so it really took her by shock.

"That's why we were all so happy to hear when you joined the case, a younger fresher mind to help get him back out onto the street where he belongs." Ava missed seeing her brother often, and since Isabella had been going to see Kennedy more often,

Ava offered to give the girl her session too as it meant that Charles wouldn't know that she was going without him.

"That reminds me, Kennedy hasn't really let me in on this side of his life, let me about his ex and her daughter?" It was the whole part that got him sent to jail in the first place yet the blonde still didn't know anything about it,

"Kenny loved Christine and Gloria with all of his heart, he would hurt a fly. He always protected all of the younger girls at night so they would get home safely." Ava started as the girl nodded,

"Look I know you don't know him like that, but you have to believe me." It felt that Charles gave up on the family a while ago and now the whole neighbourhood wanted Kennedy back and safe.

"I take your word for it, what I do know is he is an honest man." The Kiwi confessed as the food was finally ready.

Isabella arrived at the restaurant right across from her apartment block as she saw someone she swore wasn't meant to be in America.

"Was he British?" Isabella asked wondering if she was seeing things or not,

"Hey love," Mason called out from behind the girl,

"This is for you," Mathew handed the girl her sandwich as she sent him a smile,

"Thank you," the kiwi mumbled as she turned around and faced her boyfriend,

"Can we talk outside?" The Brit asked as the girl nodded,

"There is only one way I can say this," Mason started knowing he was already in a massive hole with the girl,

"I fucked up royally like a twat and I'm sorry," he added as the girl tried to keep a serious face,

"And?" She asked as the boy's eyes went wide,

"I won't be a dick to you the next time my ego is sore?" He almost sounded unsure of what he was saying by quickly calmed down when Isabella laughed,

"And it took you two weeks to realise that?" She joked as she placed a kiss on his lips,

"I missed you," she added as the boy nodded,

"I missed you too love," he pulled her in for a hug as they stood there quietly.
