Isabella had two lectures before her birthday, and the first one was introducing a project and the second one was just pure work time for them.

"So today we are meeting up with the psychology students because we are working on this next project together," Dr Hayes explained to the group as everyone was now curious as to what they were doing,

"The reason why we are doing this project with them is that we move onto actual cases next but you first need to know why they think the way they do," he added as Isabella and Cristina looked at each other,

"I can't be the only one who is slightly worried to meet these people," working on actual cases seeing how you would be able to argue your point as to why they are innocent worried Isabella as this was someone's life in her hands as a lot of this people were either on death row,

"I mean same, but I guess it is what happens in this line of work," Cristina shrugged as the girls looked back at the front of the room hearing that he was continuing explaining what was going on,

"So people pair up with someone from the other group," Dr Hayes finished as Mackenzie walked over to Isabella,

"Do you want to be partners Isabella?" Mackenzie asked as the older girl nodded,

"Of course!" The blonde smiled as she pulled the girl into a hug.

Mason was in the process of trying to figure out how to keep Isabella distracted and out of her flat later on in the week,

"Come in!" Isabella called out as Mason walked into her bedroom,

"Mackenzie, what are you doing here?" Mason asked seeing that his younger sister was sat across from the girl,

"We are working on a school project, what can I do for you?" Isabella sent the boy a smile as she got up and gave him a small hug,

"I just wanted to know if you were free the afternoon of your birthday?" The footballer sent the girl a grin hoping she would say yes,

"If Mackenzie and I move our work session up a few hours then sure." The blonde wasn't thinking too much of it as she just assumed that her boyfriend wanted to do something nice with just the two of them,

"Speaking of work sessions, I need to head back to my flat. Neco wants to FaceTime later on today," the younger Mount explained as the couple nodded,

"Have fun Mackenzie," the duo waved the girl off as they walked into the kitchen,

"Hi my love," Mason smiled as they finally had a bit of alone time for the first time in a while,

"Kia Ora," Isabella placed a soft kiss in his lips before she sat on the counter.

It was finally the afternoon of Isabella's birthday and everything was starting to work out,

Mason had taken Isabella on a tour of London as she still hadn't explored the full city.

"We are not going up there." Isabella let out a groan as the boy shook his head,

"Come on it's the London Eye, you have to do it at least once!" Mason sent the girl a pout as she still protested going up,

"Baby are you afraid of heights?" He asked as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder,

"No I am not afraid of heights, I just don't like the thought of being trapped in one of those capsules with a bunch of strangers." It was the part of her that was South African that made her worry about that kind of stuff,

"Baby how about I make you a deal?" The footballer asked as the girl motioned for him to continue,

"We do this and then I'll take you to do something that I'm scared of?" Relationships were all about pushing your comfort levels, so this seemed like a great place to start.

"Fine but if I die it's your fault." Isabella sent him a glare as he let out a laugh,

"I'll protect you, Isa," Mason whispered as he placed a kiss on her forehead.

Their little adventure had ended and they were now on their way back to her apartment,

"Everybody hide!" Asher whisper yelled as they now heard someone at the front door,

"I thought Asher was still home?" Isabella asked herself as she opened the front door to see that it was pitch black.

"Surprise!" Everyone called out as the lights finally went on,

"What?" Isabella was shocked to see everyone in the apartment,

"Happy birthday love," Mason smiled as he placed a kiss on the girl's lips,

"Isabella," Asher motioned to the one corner of the room where her brothers were currently sat,

"Uh oh," the blonde mentally cursed herself as everyone went back to what they were doing,

Except for Gabriel and Harry Wilson of course.

"Come on," the kiwi grabbed her boyfriend's hand as she motioned for her brothers to follow her to her bedroom.

"So let's get this straight?" Gabriel spoke up after everything was explained to them,

"You two are together and this is the first we are hearing of it?" Harry interrupted his older brother who sent him a glare,

"Basically yeah," Isabella nodded as her brothers sent each other a confused look,

"But why didn't you tell us about him when we asked you in Auckland?" Harry always had a softer when it came to his younger sister,

"Because I was worried that you would overreact and fly out here to give him the message," the blonde remembered the time she was getting to know a guy in Greece and the boys decided to do that,

"I mean she does have a point," the springbok player shrugged.
