Luke appeared in the garage.
"Hey, you did fast. Where is y/n?" Asked Reggie
He sighed.
"I don't know why but she was mad. She told me to go to hell"
Alex patted him.
"Maybe she has angel period or- No uh?"
"I don't know what I did"
"Don't worry, tomorrow everything will be fine"

The next morning, y/n and Julie were in the kitchen to make breakfast.
"Hey"
Julie turned to face her brother.
"Hey y/n, there is your lover"
She giggled as the boy blushed.
"Hey Carlos, do you want some waffles?"
After, Flynn joined them.
"Flynn, why are you here?"
"To go to school together"

After breakfast, the girls went out the house.
"So how's the band? Still hot? Still talented? Still dead?"
Y/n giggled at what Flynn said.
"Amazing. We wrote a lot of songs. Oh wait, before to go I want to say hi to the boys" Said Julie.
Y/n was out of the studio with Flynn, who was confused.
"Why don't you greet them too?"
Y/n crossed her arms.
"They don't need to"
Flynn giggled.
"A mad angel is not a good thing, you are always happy and kind. Let's go"
Flynn grabbed her by the wrist and went in the garage.

When they entered, she met Luke's eyes and suddenly looked away. The boy sighed.
"Hey, y/n"
She didn't responded.
"Hi Alex, hi Reggie"
Julie giggled but was really sorry for Luke and y/n.
"Okay guys, we need to go to school, see you later"
As they walked out, Alex and Reggie looked at Luke, encouraging him to follow the girl. He bit his lips and poofed in front of her. She looked at him.
"Y/n wait"
"What do you want"
"You"
He blushed.
"I mean, a moment with you"
"No"
She passed him, continuing to walk.
He stopped her by the wrist.
"It is obvious that you have a problem with me, what I have done to you?"
"Really, Luke? You are always so nice with me and yesterday you asked me to hang out with you, but when I'm not around you tell your friends you don't care about me, you only care about your music, then do me a favor and leave me alone"
He left her wrist.
"I I I'm sorry y/n, I didn't mean that..."
"See you, Patterson" And walked away with Julie and Flynn.

When she was walking, she felt the same pain on her wrist.
"Again? Why it hurt you so much?" Asked Julie
"I don't know but we need to find out"

Luke was with Alex and Reggie in the studio.
"Dude, you look like Alex when is nervous"
Alex glared at him.
"Luke, what's wrong?"
"Y/n heard me saying that I don't care about her but only about music and now she doesn't want talk to me"
"Well, she is right. You were so rude, dude"
Luke looked at Reggie.
"This doesn't help"
"Luke, Reggie is right. It's obvious that you care about her but you lied. Lied to us, lied to y/n and lied to yourself"
He sighed.
"What can I do?"
"Something nice for her. Let her know that you care"
He nodded.
"You are right, see you later" And disappeared.

Y/n was in her math class when Luke poofed next to her.
"Hey honey"
She looked at him and snorted.
"Please talk to me"
She rolled her eyes and asked the teacher to go to the bathroom, then walked out the class to talk with Luke.

"So, what do you want?"
"Listen, I was stupid. I said things without thinking just because I hated to admit that I care about you. You are more important than music because you make me smile, all the time, and I enjoy your company"
She smiled.
"Really?"
"Yes, and I wanted to hang out with you and show you something, so... Do you want to skip school and come with me?"
She nodded.
"Okay, let's go"
He smiled and took her hand.

They appeared in front of a house.
"Why are we here?" Asked the girl confused
"This was my house"
Y/n looked at him and noticed his wet eyes, so she hugged him.
"You don't have to-"
"No. I want you to know"
She nodded and took his hand, walking with him in the house.

It was so nice, with old photo everywhere. Y/n smiled seeing a photo of Luke when he was a child.
"You were so cute"
He smiled and held her hand tight.
"I come here to see my parents, I miss them"
She smiled.
"I'm sure they miss you too"
As he saw his parents, a tear fell on his cheek and y/n wiped it away.
"I'll be here with you as long as you want"
He smiled and hugged her, leaving a kiss on her head.

After an hour, they went on the beach, walking on the seaside. Luke intertwined his fingers with y/n's fingers and looked down at her, biting his lips.
"Thank you for today. It means so much for me"
She smiled.
"Nobody should suffer alone"
He sat with her on the sand and looked at the sea.
"When I died, I had a fight with my parents. They didn't want me to play but to concentrate on my studies. I left home and lived in the garage until the night I was supposed to play at the Orpheum came. They would have known my dream was worth something, but instead I ate a stupid hot dog that was bad and died before performing"
She stroked his hand with her thumb.
"It must not have been easy for you, but I'm sure even if you had a fight with them, your parents never stopped loving you"
He smiled and put a lock of hair behind her hair, making her blush.
"You know, you are so pretty"
She was completely red and looked away.
"You're not bad too..."
He smiled and saw that the girl was cold so he put his jacket over her shoulders, leaving her a kiss on the cheek.
"So, how did you die?"
She looked at him and sighed.
"I remember that day very well. There was an important exam at school an we were all worried about it, but in the middle of the test, started a shooting. We were all afraid and when the teacher took us in a safer place, I was hit by a shot. My parents and my best friend were crying, and I'm sorry I made them feel bad"
He looked at her sadly and hugged her tight.
"How are your parents now?"
"They had another child and moved to another city"
She sighed and stood up, handing to the boy his jacket.
"I think it's time to go now"
He nodded and rubbed her cheek.
"I promise to protect you, I will no longer make you feel bad"
She smiled and grabbed his hand.
"Luke Patterson, you are special to me"
