My Unholy End

"Guard! where's Mina? Where's Thor?" Loki asks sitting up on his bed.

He woke from his sleep, his mind a little more coherent now the pain had subsided. Yet he knew this was just a short window of being pain free.

Seeing neither you or Thor made him suspicious, and full of worry. His mind plaguing him with accusatory thoughts.

He felt agitated, he knew this was the best he'll ever be, the perfect time to swear your vows and marry you.

He tried his best to push aside his jealousy, instead convincing himself that you not being there was harmless, you're likely with Fenrir.

Thor instructed a guard to watch over Loki while he left to find you. He grew concerned when you didn't come back.

The guard cleared his throat before replying to Loki "Prince Thor is in search of Princess Mina"

"What do you mean in search? Is she missing? what's happened!?" Loki's voice grew louder the more worried he got.

The guard shuffled nervously, unable to reply. He simply didn't have an answer. His duty was to guard Loki only, no other information was shared.

"Well don't just stand there, go find them, I need answers! I have very little time before another wave of pain hits me" he instructs sternly

"I'm sorry, my orders are to remain within the confides of this room. I'm unable to leave my Prince" the guard says feeling anxious, he fears refusing Loki's command comes with a backlash.

Loki clenches his jaw, standing from the bed, he struts towards the guard until he reaches the extent of his chains. The guard took two steps back when Loki got too close for comfort.

Loki snickers, an evilness engulfing his features. "Do I scare you guard?"

The guard averted his eyes, but remained in a strong stance. Gripping his spear nervously.

"What? have Odin got your tongue?" He laughs at the guard who remains motionless with pursed lips.

"Then instruct the guard outside the door to find Thor, now!" His order heard loud and clear.

The guard opened the door and did as Loki requested. Loki watched as three guards made haste down the hall to look for Thor.

Loki retreated back to the bed, keeping a stern face, trying his best to hide his worry for you.

He notices your pebble laying in the middle of the bed, he smiles when he remembers you scorning him for not keeping hold of it.

Loki climbed onto the mattress, and picked up the pebble. He laid down and held it up in front of him, finally studying it more closely.

He observed the fine cracks that patterned it's surface, only now realising how unusual it really is.

It had no weight to it, feeling light as feather when held. He wondered where you got such a strange oddity.

He sat up suddenly, his face grave as he listened to the many voices inside his head. The other personalities within his mind screaming, all frightened as the dark cloud moved into his mind ready to erase another part of him.

"No! Please not now!" Loki yells out loud.

The guard observes him talking to himself, seeing his face suddenly pale.

Loki battles with his mind, willing his mind to stay strong, to fight the billowing dark mass that's engulfing his entire mind, sifting through each persona to find the next weakest link.

An intense pain suddenly washes over his head, crippling him. He flops down hard against the mattress, his body pinned in place as though held by an invisible force.

"No, not me. Please not me!" He shrieks out, feeling it's him who was next to be consumed.

Loki's body started to twitch and stiffen, his muscles spasming once more as waves upon waves of tormenting pain ripples through his body.

His hands involuntarily clenched tight, the small pebble within his palm stopping his nails from digging down.

Loki felt his mind beginning to fade, his early memories disappearing in a flash, he holds onto the image of you, picturing you in his mind, praying to the Gods he never forgets you. But as the pain got more intense your features began to disperse, no longer did he know the colour of your eyes, the shape of your lips, you his most precious memory was leaving him.

He bit down the pain and yelled out, wishing he never took the potion, for it to be rid from his body.

"Please! Leave me, let me stay, don't take me away from her!"

His hand squeezed so tight it broke the pebble within his palm, yet beneath the grey exterior of the pebble lay a tiny white gem.

Loki's hand suddenly glowed a bright white, a powerful force emanating from within, it travelled up his arm, crawling into his head at lightening speed.

The guard in a panic, rushed to the door and yelled out for help. Running back into the room to witness Loki hovering above the bed, his body completely engulfed in a blinding light.

Illumination travelled through Loki's veins circulating around his body as though it flowed together with his blood.

His body convulsed violently in the air, as all the damaged nerves that lay broken within his mind, started to flicker with new life. The impaired part of his brain that housed all his personalities now repaired, no longer split and all fully active. They jolt alive, pushing the bad out, his mind stronger than ever.

Loki's mouth gaped open wide, just as Thor barged through the bedroom door, watching in horror as a black cloud of darkness seeped out of Loki's mouth, disintegrating into thin air.

Loki gurgled a loud groan expelling the very last drop of the dark potion that poisoned his mind. His elevated body crashed down hard onto the mattress, breaking the wooden slats.

Thor turns to look at the guard, the guard pale, and frightened stiff. He was on the verge of fainting.

"Did you just see that?" Thor exclaims, unbelieving what he just witnessed

Thor hears a groan coming from within the giant hole in the mattress.

He walked warily towards the broken bed, scared to see what Loki has turned into, fearing the potion had transformed him into an unnatural being.

Thor jumps out of his skin at hearing a sudden thud, he turns around and see's the motionless body of the guard, who's finally succumbed and fainted.

Thor chuckles proceeding to near the edge of the bed, he peeks over, looking surprised, then grinning wide.

"Well don't just stare, help me out of here you oaf" Loki snaps, entangled in metal bed springs.

Thor looked wide eyed at Loki, never believing he'd be so happy to hear his usual sarcastic insults.

Thor quickly held his arms out, taking grip of Loki's hands, and pulling with all his might.

"Woah, Brother. You're really jammed in there" Thor says amused

"Just pull harder imbecile! my lower body is starting to go numb!"

"Well, we can't have that now can we" Thor smiles, pulling extra hard. He exhaled a deep huff, his muscles feeling the burn from the intense workout.

"No brother, I refuse to disappoint my Queen. I need full function of my lower extremities" Loki says lustfully, planning on ravishing your body as soon as he gets hold of you.

Thor strains out a laugh as he continues pulling extra hard, slowly feeling Loki start to loosen. Suddenly Loki is yanked free from the hole in the mattress, metal springs flying out along with him.

He crashes down ontop of Thor who takes the brunt of the fall.

Thor groans loudly, his chest feeling crushed by the crash landing. He musters up more strength and pushes Loki off him, both brothers laying side by side, and out of breath.

Loki lifts up his hand and opens it. A tiny pebble falls, landing on his chest.

Thor observes his brother with intrigue as Loki lifts up the pebble no bigger than a pea, it instantly disintegrates inbetween his fingers

"It's gone, it's all used up" he says sadly, teardrops forming in his eyes.

"What is it Loki?"

Loki sighs, speaking low. "It was the immortality gem, disguised as a pebble. Somehow Mina had it. She gave it to me, and it came alive in my hand, forcing it's power inside me, curing me of my dark insanity"

"It's gone?! you're really cured?" Thor booms excited

Loki doesn't show any emotion of happiness, his mind though well, and back to normal is consumed with thoughts of you. Already thinking of ways to prolong your life.

Thor's elation suddenly turns to sadness when he see's Loki shed a tear, it rolls down the side of his face.

"Why are you sad?" Thor asked confused

Loki looks to Thor "I never wanted the power of the gem for myself. I searched everywhere to find it, to prolong Mina's life. If I knew the gem was hidden within the pebble I would never have held it. Even as I lay succumbing to the darkness, I still wished for the gem, to give her a long life, to be happy with Fenrir, with someone else who can love her as much as me"

"Loki...she would never have accepted immortality without you in her life. What good would her very long life be, you'll have succumbed to the dark, your true self gone forever. She would be more alone than ever, forced to live thousands of years. Now you're well, is it not enough to live fifty years together, making beautiful memories?"

Loki's eyes scrunched shut, hot tears rolling.

Loki snapped his eyes open in surprise when he felt Thor wipe away his tears. "Loki, there is no time for such sorrow. Live your life with her, for however long you have together"

Loki contemplates Thor's words "I'll never stop trying Thor. Fifty years isn't enough. I want more"

Thor sits up looking over to Loki "well, your stubbornness nearly cost you your sanity, and your clearly not prepared to give up that easily. So this time, you include me. We work together in finding a way"

Loki smiles at Thor, appreciating his brothers desire to help. Loki stands up feeling determined, holding out his hand for Thor to take.

Thor beams, accepting Loki's hand as a truce, a fresh start at working together.

Loki pulls him up unaware of his new found strength. Thor is pulled with such force he crashes hard into Loki, yet Loki's stance didn't falter one bit.

Thor looks at Loki bewildered, holding his own chest that now throbs from the sudden bump.

Loki turns and looks over his body in the mirror, seeing his face no longer dark, pale and weak. His body was strong, he felt alive, more energised than he's ever felt in his life.

"I think the immortality gem made me stronger Thor" Loki says amazed

"Yeh, I'd say so" Thor says squeezing Loki's biceps, impressed at the rock hard muscle mass.

Loki gives him a smug look, "arm wrestle later?"

"Oh you're on Trickster!" Thor says playfully

Suddenly Loki's expression changes, his eyes stare off, his ears prick up. He listens intently as he hears a thumping noise.

"Do you hear that?" Loki asks Thor

Thor listens, not hearing anything out of the ordinary. A few feet scuttling around the palace halls, likely palace staff.

"Only feet moving Loki, what do you hear?"

Loki closes his eyes, putting all his focus into his sense of hearing.

He heard a heart beating fast, the pounding rapid and heavy against a chest.

Thor watches intrigued as Loki's eyes rapidly move side to side under his lids.

Loki furrows his brow, placing his hand on his chest feeling his own beating heart. His heart beats steady, a slow normal rhythm. He opens his eyes baffled...

"It's not my heart I hear" he mutters, confusion in his voice.

"Please! Help me!" A loud yell suddenly booms into his head, the phantom heartbeat now racing so fast and hard that it physically hurt his own chest.

Loki shot his eyes to Thor, recognising the voice.

"Where's Mina?!" He says as a sudden overwhelming Panic jolts through him.

"She left to talk with Father, to arrange the wedding"

Loki quickly sprints out of the door, his feet sliding on the smooth surface as he rounds a corner.

His breathing fast and heavy as he barged through the Throne room. Thor caught up, standing just behind Loki.

Odin looks down at Loki, and see's his demeanour no longer sickly.

"Loki, you look.... Healthy?" he says astonished

"It's a miracle father! Loki is saved!" Thor booms

"What? How?" Odin asked puzzled

"There is no time for explanations, where is she?" Loki says sternly

"Who?" Odin's voice sounding so innocent

"Who do you think! My queen, my love, my one and only! Where is Mina?!" Loki's voice infuriated

"I, um, I'm sure she'll turn up later, she's likely with her wolf"

"You lie Father! your mouth spews deception" Loki's accusatory tone full of malice

"Father, she came to you to discus the wedding, where did she go after that" Thor says, also feeling suspicious of Odin

"I have no time to discus menial things, I am a King trying to run the realms. If you've lost your mortal then sort it amongst yourselves!" Odin's tone dismissive yet had hints of nervousness

Thor and Loki look at each other, both feeling he's hiding something. Loki was about to charge towards Odin when Thor pulled him back.

"Brother, be smart. Just wait" he whispers

Thor bows to his father before retreating out of the room. Loki looks at him with confusion but follows suit.

Once outside the Throne room, Thor and Loki hide behind a corner, lying in wait. It took mere minutes for a guard to leave under Odin's orders, heading towards the dungeons.

Loki and Thor followed him, remaining as inconspicuous as possible. The guard never detecting that he was followed.

They follow him to the dungeons, seeing the entryway heavily guarded.

Loki and Thor approach the unusual amount of guards.

"Move aside, we need to get through quick" Thor demands

"We have order's from King Odin. No one is permitted to visit the prisoner Munnin"

Thor was about to argue his case, but Loki had no time to waste, he grabbed the guard by the shoulder and threw him against the wall. The guard slid down, his body slumped over, completely knocked out.

The other guards looked at Loki full of fear, running away in the opposite direction.

Thor looked at Loki astonished, never seeing his brother so charged. He was always one for talking first before resorting to attack. The roles now reversed.

Loki swiftly paced down the steps, feeling your racing heart even more the closer he got to Munnin's prison.

The glass confinement came into view, Loki stood horror stricken, his eyes looking at all the blood that's smeared on the glass, partially blocking the view of inside.

A loud scream of anger shot out, he ran to the glass door looking inside and saw you fighting off Munnin, as he pins you on the bed, your wounds bleeding and staining your skin with your blood.

Loki bangs on the glass, screaming your name.

Your puffy red eyes dart to the door, you think you see Loki, yet you convince yourself it couldn't be him. Your Loki was shackled to his bed, his mind being consumed. He can't be here, that can't be him.

You wonder if you were on deaths door, was this your dying hallucination. You hold out your arm, trying to reach for the love of your life, wishing to feel him before your heart stops.

Loki drew a stuttered gasp as he see's you're missing a finger, your weak hand barely able to reach for him. Loki's eyes blurred with tears, guilt mixed with infuriating anger overwhelmed him.

You let out an agonising wail as Munnin pulls you up from the floor by your broken arm, griping your throat tight as he holds you hostage against his chest. Your body so feeble from fighting against him that your head slumps forward, too frail to hold it up.

He stares at Loki who bangs vigorously on the glass door, smirking as he grips clumps of your hair, holding your head in place and forcing you to see Loki.

"Thor open this door!" Loki yells, desperate to get inside.

"It's not working! It's a new code" he says exasperated, continuing to try a different combination of codes.

Loki glares at Munnin, sickened by his smug face. Munnin just grins in response, eager to rile Loki up even more.

Loki could do nothing but watch as Munnin's claws travels up your inner thigh, scraping along your delicate skin leaving more trails of red marks.

"Are you watching Loki" Munnin talks overly loud, making sure Loki can hear him.

Loki snaps his eyes to him, his fists curl in a ball against the glass. His temper reaching boiling point.

Munnin delicately smoothed over your folds, not bothering to retract his sharp nails.

You gasp, a pained howl escaping your lungs.

Loki watches helplessly as Munnin's hand movements continue along your private area, blood trickling down your leg from the sharp nails. Your face showed the painful agony that's inflicted on you.

"Please stop," your cry barely audible, it hurt to talk, your throat so sore and parched from the constant screaming

Loki crashes his balled fist against the glass, causing it to crack. He steps back, his eyes growing wide as he followed the cracks that continue to get bigger, spreading the entire width of the glass prison.

Munnin removed his bloody finger from your skin, bringing it to his mouth. He sticks out his long tongue, and sucked his finger clean.

"Together Loki!"

Thor lifted his hammer, and Loki his fists, and with all their combined force they struck the glass barrier. It instantly shattered into thousands of tiny pieces, startling Munnin.

Munnin taken off guard wrapped his protracted claws around your torso. Pulling you back, your feet dragging against the floor.

"It's over Munnin, let her go" Loki says calmly, being careful not to rile him up incase he lashes out at you.

"Let Mina go, and you get to keep your life" Thor bargains.

Munnin scoffs "you forget who protects me, Daddy dearest. He'll never allow my life to end by anyones hands. I'll live comfortably in this glass prison, requesting what I wish to keep me happy in exchange for what he wants. If he so willingly gave me peaches here, then a few whores to torment every now and then will be nothing to him" Munnin chuckles darkly.

Loki suddenly feels an unnerving feeling wash over him as he looks deeply into Munnin's face. He needs to strike a bargain, fearing something bad was about to happen.

"I can break you free from this cell, get you whatever you wish to inable you to disappear, never being found by Odin. I won't even chase you, I'll leave you be. But just let her go." Loki pleads, the sense of foreboding becoming too strong.

"Oh Loki, I do love to see you beg. Tell me, what's different about you. You look.... Good." Munnin, baffled by his fresh look, no longer pale and sickly.

You keep hearing Loki's voice, as you come in and out of consciousness. You open your swollen bruised eyes, and look ahead. You see Loki, your Loki, looking as he always did, in perfect health.

"I'm cured, I'm no longer sick" Loki announces.

Your eyes opened wider "is it true?" you whisper, fearing that this was still your imagination playing tricks on you.

Loki smiles sadly at you, feeling guilty by how battered your body is "yes my love. You saved me"

Confusion spread through you, dubious that this was just another game. Fresh tears burned your skin as you wept. "Stop tricking me, stop with this cruelty Munnin please" you push out a croaky voice.

You hear Munnin cackle loudly, Loki staring at you deeply hurt.

"She believes it's another prank" he continues laughing evilly. "You see, during my time of torment, I made her believe many times you were here, and that she would be rescued, only for her to find out it was just a cruel joke"

Loki burned with anger, his fist clenched tight, wanting to charge at him for his brutality.

"Kitten, I'm really here. You did save me"

You scrunch your brows, looking at Loki, then at Thor. Your eyes now pleading as you realise they really were there in front of you"

"Help me Loki, please!" You beg.

"Calm baby, calm, I will sort this. Don't worry sweetheart. Just breathe."

You listen to his soft voice, trying your best to steady your laboured breathing.

"And tell me, how exactly did she save you?" Munnin asks curious to know, feeling Loki's words were mere exaggeration.

"The immortality stone, Mina had it" Loki look's at you... "the pebble darling, it was no ordinary stone, inside was a tiny gem. When I broke it during an intense episode, the gem embedded itself within my palm, releasing what power it had, repairing my mind... I'm cured sweetheart"

Your swollen eyes displayed happiness, you sob now from relief rather than pain, finding solace at the news that Loki was cured. You felt a heaviness lifted from your chest, your pained broken heart suddenly mending itself, finding sweet relief.

"That can't be, the gem was used, it had no power left!" Munnin says, skeptical of Loki's story.

"Well clearly it had power, I witnessed it myself, so I think you're mistaken" Thor says with a scoff.

Munnin snarled at Thor "It's better to be silent and thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt!"

Thor stared at Munnin confused, pondering what Munnin said, not registering that it was an insult.

Munnin rolled his eyes "A village somewhere is missing their idiot, so run along"

"What village?" Thor replied, still bewildered.

Munnin let out a sigh, "you're indeed an Odinson, completely brainless"

Your legs began to wobble as Munnin loosened his grip, distracted by Thor. He caught you just as you were about to fall to the ground, his claws digging into your flesh. You let out a pained cry feeling your skin tear.

"Oops, sorry. That was an accident, I forgot my sharp nails are still on show" he smirks wide.

"Let her go Munnin!" Loki barks.

"Tell me how you saved yourself and don't lie this time" Munnin demands.

"I'm telling the truth! It was the pebble, the immortality gem!"

"That can't be! Odin himself used its power, I watched as he lay dying during the giants attack. They didn't just escape the dungeon, they managed to get close enough to Odin that his wounds were deemed fatal. Odin had the gem in his possession, he always did. He used it to save himself, the immortality gem relinquishing its power to save him from his deep wounds. I observed the white gem turn to a grey pebble, it's magic gone"

Thor and Loki looked at Munnin in surprise having never heared this tale before.

"I found the pebble in Odins vault" you admit weakly

Munnin looked at you surprised. "Oh my clever peaches, it seems you did save him after all, perhaps the tiniest bit of magic was underneath the grey exterior" he cackles out loud "Odin is an utter fool, tossing such a rare piece amongst the tat he collects, such a Buffoon"

Munnin grips you tighter, his arms wrapped neatly around your waist. Resting his head in the crook of your neck, as though in a lovers embrace.

You felt the hot bile rise in your throat mixing with the metallic of your blood, his skin touching yours made your skin crawl.

"How selfish, to use the little gem for yourself Loki. It could've given Peaches a much longer life, a mortal, given immortality and a life amongst the gods"

Munnin leans closer, his hot breath on your skin as he whispers in your earΒ  "If he loved you, he'd have made sure your needs were met first" Munnin's words trying to instil doubt in your mind. Making the rage inside Loki grow.

"If I'd known what it was, I'd never have touched it! It would be all for you Kitten" Loki's eyes display hurt, the reminder that your life could've been prolonged with the gem fills him with shame and regret.

"Poor Loki, you'll live in torment watching her grow old and frail, her organs withering away inside her until she eventually succumbs to death" Munnin strokes your face with his finger, looking at your features.

"Such a waste, all this beauty will fade, I don't no how you could bare it, just thinking about her beautiful features changing makes me angry. If only there was a way to preserve her?"

Munnin looks up musing over the thought.

"What's happening here!" Odin's booming voice echoes out as he steps over the shards of glass and into the exposed prison cell.

His eyes widen in shock seeing the bloodied state of you. He never imagined Munnin would treat you so savagely. It wasn't part of the deal he struck with him.

"Ah just on time, I was about to ask your stupid son to fetch you. Which stupid son you ask? Well, I think it's plainly obvious, the blonde lump of muscle with little to no brain cells. Clearly, when it was raining brains, he brought an umbrella" Munnin chuckled to himself.

Loki inches forward seeing Munnin distracted.

"ahah, stop right there" Munnin warns, stepping back. His claws protracting as far as they could go, long nails as sharp as razor blades, he ripped your dress further, exposing your already scarred stomach.

You suddenly sense doom, instinctively looking towards Loki who by the looks of his pleading eyes, senses it too.

Munnin whispers in your ear so only you could hear it "I'm sorry, this will hurt. But I do this for your own benefit Peaches"

You suddenly knew what was going to happen, you've been feeling this dread since arriving in the prison. It was the feeling of death looming.

You look at Loki, sorrow tugging at your heart, you no he's going to be in deep grief when you leave him.

You feel Munnin's claws press deeper into your belly, grabbing a handful of your flesh in preparation. Acceptance washes over your face, changing your expression to serenity instead of pained anguish.

You look at Loki and smile, letting him no you're okay, "I love you Loki"

Loki lurched forward upon hearing your last words, knowing the smile you gave him was you saying goodbye.

Loki crashed into you gripping you tight, Munnin letting go retreating further back, allowing Loki to hold you.

You stare up into Loki's eyes, as Loki smiles at finally being able to hold you, he stares at your bruised and bloodied face, still seeing the beauty behind the abuse. You lift your weak hand, moving a stray wisp of hair behind his ear.

"Love and be loved Loki, Goodbye my love" your voice a soft whisper.

Loki shakes his head in confusion, suddenly feeling your body become limp.

He looks down, and gasps, seeing your stomach ripped open wide. Shocked enveloped him as he realised he was too late to save you, Munnin had clawed your flesh inflicting a fatal wound. A wound not even Loki could heal.

Loki collapsed to the ground cradling you within his arms, pushing all his healing magic into you. You cough, choking on the blood that's flooded your lungs, Loki frantically wiping away the bright crimson each time you splutter up.

Immense pain radiated through your entire body, hitting every pain receptor. You started to shiver, your skin feeling cold to the touch as your blood loss reduced circulation to your organs.

Your vision began to fade, a creeping blackness consumed all four corners of the room. The deep onyx billowed outwards engulfing everything it touched until all you see is Loki in front of you.

You suddenly felt fear, seeing the shadowy darkness hover around you, looming in wait, until it could consume you too.

Loki's continuous jolts of magic in your body was futile, he shook profusely, his own body trembling as he held you, hysterically sobbing as he applied pressure to your open wound.

"No no no, please sweetheart stay with me" he calls out in a mad panic, seeing your eyes begin to glass over, rolling back and forth as you fight the dark unconsciousness.

"Thor! Help me! Brother please, she's dying!"

Thor looked on in shock, having never seen so much blood. He could no longer see any part of the cell floor, it was covered entirely by your blood.

Thor became enraged, marching over to Munnin who watches you fade away. Thor gripped his throat, sliding him up the wall until his feet dangle.

"Stop Thor!" Odin booms

Thor relents, releasing his grip on Munnin. Munnin slams down to the floor coughing, rubbing his neck now bruised from Thor's strong hold.

"My Queen, don't leave me please, I refuse to live without you" Loki's desperate cries hurt more than the pain. Even as you lay dying you wished to make him feel better.

Loki smoothes your head, running his blood soaked hands through your hair trying to comfort you as much as possible.

His mind in total despair, his body in complete shock. He rambles from grief, ordering you not to leave, commanding you to stay, reminding you about the wedding, and the vows you're suppose to take later that day.

You can no longer speak and you can barely think from the loss of blood, the vision of Loki consumed with grief was the last thing you saw as your body gave up the fight, your mind slipping into oblivion, the monstrous cloud of death finally taking you.

Loki trembles as he holds you, witnessing your eyes widen in fright before closing, your face blank and your body motionless.

Everyone was so distracted and in shock, they didn't notice Munnin creep down towards your lifeless body. Loki merely looks at him too weak and numb to question him.

Munnin looks down at your face, placing his hand on your chest feeling for a heartbeat.

"She still lives, but we have little time" he says, confusing Loki.

Munnin grips Loki's hand that's covered in your blood. Loki tries to pull away to continue holding your body, but Munnin fights him, placing Loki's hand against his throat.

Loki looks at him questioningly, unsure what he's doing.

"Threaten my life, squeeze my throat, make Odin see that you'll end me"

Loki now full of rage squeezes tight, "I will end you!"

Munnin gurgles, gripping at Loki's large hand, trying to pry them from his neck, fearing at any moment Loki will crush his airways.

"Stop!!" Odin booms

Loki purposely ignores Odin's order, his mind full of fury. He planned on squeezing his neck so tight it'll make his eyes pop out of its sockets.Β

"I can save her!" Odin yells

Loki suddenly released his grip looking shocked at Odin. Munnin gasps a stuttered breath, his throat pained and sore, yet he laughs menacingly.

"You can save her?" Loki asked full of doubt

"Of course he can, not just save her, but make her immortal. But of course he won't ever offer that unless he felt forced to" Munnin explains with a smirk

"Hush raven!" Odin commands

"I knew you'd offer part of your Odins force in exchange for my life" Munnin cackles

"It's not your life I'm concerned with, it's the knowledge you carry. If I could pry the information from your brain, killing you i'd do it in a heartbeat!"

"But alas, there is no such magic. So be a good King and save my peaches here. Bring her back to me, all shiny and new"

Loki grips Munnin's throat again, continuing his squeeze "She isn't yours! She is mine and mine alone!"

"Loki let him go! If he dies so does she!" Thor yells trying to detach Loki's arms from Munnin.

Loki quickly releases, resuming his hold on you. He looks down seeing your chest rising in short breaths, almost slipping away completely.

"Heal her Odin! Or feel my wrath!" Loki says through gritted teeth.

"A God does not intervene with mortal lives! That is my rule Loki!" Odin reminds him.

Sudden rage encompassed Loki's mind at seeing Odin still hesitant to save you. His eyes glaze over,Β  no longer were they a sea blue but a crimson red. He was crazed with delirious rage.

Loki looked straight at Odin, the red of his eyes piercing Odin's black heart "I swear to the Gods, everything you've achieved in your succession as King, will fall. You'll fear my retribution, watching helplessly as your empire crumbles, you'll deafen with the sounds of your palace toppling to the ground, and the agonising screams of your loyal followers. Asgard will be consumed by the hottest flames of Helheim, and blazing Fires fuelled by my seething rage will consume everything, leaving only rubble and ash in my wake.. I'll wreak my vengeance dear Father make no mistake, I care little for Asgard and care even less for you.
Allow her to die, and my outrage will feast, never ceasing until all the realms feel my fury and know of my pain. My indignant wrath will shower upon you all making you obsolete, every single realm will come to an end, My Unholy end"

Odin was rooted in place, suddenly horror struck as the entire vision he feared all along flooded through his mind.

He saw everything, every detail Loki just professed. Odin gripped his head in pain, as the vision burnt into his memories.

He looked fearful at Loki, realising this was the moment that brought about Loki's carnage. Loki would succeed in the worst catastrophe known to all realms, all gods, and all people. He'll cause total annihilation to the realms, no longer will they exist, his vengeance for your death will cause his villainous snap, rising up to bring about Ragnarok.

Odin knew then he'd need to part with half of his Odins power, it was drastic, but he felt he had no choice but to try and save you, to prevent his empire becoming mere wastelands.

Odin kneeled down and took you from Loki's arms, but Loki protested pulling you back.

"We don't have time Loki, give her to me. I can't guarantee this will work as it's never been done before"

Loki relented, allowing you to be taken from his arms, giving his father a last clear warning should you die.

"Hell hath no fury like an Unholy Trickster, you will save her" his face twisted as he snarled his warning.

Odin placed you on the bed, kneeling over your body. His hand held his spear while the other rested on your open wound.

He looks at Loki, "I don't know if she'll survive, she's mortal after all, weak and fragile. My energy force is the highest of powers, meant for Gods not mortals"

"Not to mention the possible side effects" Munnin snickers.

Loki glares at them both "I don't care, just save her!"
