This OS is my vision of what would have happened if Monami's mother i.e., Major Dr. Juhi Mahajan would be alive and there for Monami whenever she needed her. I can't write each and every moment they shared or stood for each other in just a single OS, so I hope none would mind & would support my work!

The scene starts from the view of a magnificently large hospital 'Mahajan Multi-Specialty Hospital' whose bricks were intact till date by the constant hard work, sweat & blood of Major Dr. Juhi Mahajan & her husband, Dr. Deepak Mahajan. Dr. Monami Mahajan who is already a very well-practiced cardiologist in her own hospital and is one of the most respected & favorite doctors there. But she always strives for more excellence!

Major Dr. Juhi Mahajan who's her biggest inspiration has successfully accomplished more than 30 missions on field. She's a brave, fearless & selfless woman who won't hesitate before sacrificing her life for the country & the people. Monami's beauty as well as her mind is inherited from her mother, while some of her arrogance & naughty antics are from her father. 

Right now, Dr. Deepak Mahajan has been sitting inside his perfectly organized cabin with a file in his one hand and in the other hand, he was holding his beautiful wife's beautiful hand, who was sitting opposite to him. Though he was having the file in his hand, but all his concentration was on his wife with whom he was having a romantically deep eye lock and whose hand he was caressing lovingly. Suddenly there was a loud commotion on the door, due to which the Mahajan couple parted away immediately, being surprised & embarrassed!

As they looked in the direction of the door, they found their daughter standing there with her all time nervous yet innocent look. Her eyes were doey and filled with nervousness. Her breathing was uneven and seemed that she came running. Small sweat beads were formed on her forehead due to which her bangs got stick to her skin.

Dr. Mahajan (bossily) - Dr. Monami Mahajan, don't you know any basic rule? Apne senior ke cabin mein aane se pehle knock nahi karna chahiye?

Monami - I know, si.. papa. But abhi main apne senior ke nahi, balki apne papa ke paas aayi hoon. Mumma, papa, do minute baat ho sakti hai aap dono se?

Juhi - Haan bache, bol na. Kya hua? Aur tu itni nervous kyu lag rahi hai?

Monami (looking down) - Mu..mma, vo...

Monami was finding it hard to express what was going in her mind. She was hell nervous about her parents' reaction to what she's going to disclose right now. Deepak understood her dilemma and decided to calm down his daughter. He went to her and made her sit on one of the chairs. He sat down in front of her and held her hands. He made her look at him, straight into his eyes. As Monami looks in her father's eyes, she saw love, she saw that softness which made her eyes wet.

Dr. Mahajan - Monu, go ahead beta!

Monami took a deep breath as the moment she's been waiting for, has finally arrived.

Monami - P..papa, vo...I want to join Parakram SAF!

Blurting the truth out, she closed her eyes in fear of not being able to stand her parents' reaction. But not getting even a responsive word from them, made her more nervous. She slowly opened her eyes only to see Juhi who had a proud smile on her face. But as her eyes went to Deepak, she could clearly make out from his shock-stricken face that he really didn't like what she said. Monami inhaled a deep breath, gaining her confidence back and decided to take stand for her decision. 

 Monami - Mumma-Papa, I want to be an Army Doctor, just like mumma! Maine mumma se unke missions ke baare mein bahot suna hua hai. Papa, I've always admired how you've been treating patients so gently and passionately. Main aapki jaisi hi ek doctor banna chahti thi, which I did! But papa, now I want to be an army doctor! Jis tarah bina apni jaan ki parvaah kare commandos country ke liye aur country ke logo ke liye din-raat ladte hain, that really fascinates me! Ca..Can I join Parakram SAF??

Listening to Monami's words, Dr. Mahajan closed his eyes tightly to control his outburst and just went from there and stood facing the window. Monami's words were constantly ringing in his brain as he was afraid for this day only. Observing Monami, Deepak could easily make out that all her qualities are inherited from her mother and her aura reflects the qualities which should be in a commando. Selfless, brave and kind!

Amidst of Deepak's fear and insecurities, Juhi was extremely happy and proud of her daughter who took a step towards doing something for the nation & the motherland. Juhi cupped Monami's face and placed a deep kiss on her forehead, making Monami close her eyes feeling her mother's love. 

Juhi - Monu beta, I'm extremely proud of you! Bahot kam log hote hain jo apne aap ki bajay dusro ka soche, and I'm very happy that you're one of them. Maine humesha se tum mein vo fauji banne ka jazba dekha hai. Go & fulfill your dream! (Jokingly) Aaj tumne prove kar hi diya ki tum Major Dr. Juhi Mahajan ki beti ho!

Monami chuckled with tears as she got her mother's support with her. Listening to Juhi's words, Deepak abruptly turned towards the mother-daughter duo and looked at them with astonishment. 

Deepak (tauntingly) - Haan, aaj tumne prove kar hi diya ki tum Major Dr. Juhi Mahajan ki hi beti ho!

Juhi - Deep, aap aise kyu bol rahe hain? Kya hua, aap Monami ke iss decision se khush nahi hain kya??

Deepak (sarcastically) - Nahi nahi, main to bahot khush hoon. My daughter wants to be an Army Doctor, wow! Shall we throw a party tonight, Mrs. Mahajan?!

Juhi - Deep, kya ho gaya hai aapko? Aapko to khush hona chahiye ki Monami ne itna achha faisla liya hai. Apni life apne desh ke naam kardena koi chhoti baat nahi hai!

Deepak - I get it, Juhi but I don't want her to join Army!

These few words of Deepak were enough to bring tears in Monami's eyes. She thought that her father would support her in whatever she'd do, but here the scenario is the complete opposite. Before Juhi could question Deepak, Monami came and stood in between them, surprising the Mahajan couple. They've always seen the polite, calm and naive side of their daughter and right now she's furious & brave like a lioness, who just wants to accomplish her goal. 

Monami - Kyu papa? Kyu nahi chahte aap ki main Parakram SAF join karu, apna sapna pura karu, desh ke liye kuchh karu?

Monami questioned Deepak furiously. Deepak averted her gaze from her, which was taken as ignorance by JuMi. Monami even thought that Deepak doesn't wants her to be happy & successful in what she wants, being completely unaware of his thinking. 

Monami - Aap aise mujhe ignore nahi kar sakte, papa. You have to answer me!

Deepak (closing his eyes) - Kyuki main tumhe khone se darta hoon! 

Juhi - Deepak?

Deepak - Haan Juhi, I'm scared to lose you & Monu! i knew ki ek din aisa zaroor aayega, fauji ka khoon hai aakhir Monami ki ragon mein! (Holding Juhi's hands) Juhi, jab bhi tum missions par jati thi, dil mein ek dar humesha rehta tha ki main kya karunga agar tumhe kuchh ho gaya?! Au..Aur ab iski ye zidd ki ise bhi Army mein jana hai. (Cupping Monami's face) Monu bache, I respect your dreams but beta ek baar mere baare mein bhi to socho. Beta, agar tumhe kuchh ho gaya to??

Monami (proudly) - To fir meri shahadat ka jashn manana!

Deepak & Juhi's forehead straightened in surprise and anger that how casually Monami is talking about her going away from them & embracing martydom. 

Juhi - Tu pagal ho gayi hai kya? Ek baar fir aisa bola to do thappad lagaungi gaal par!

Monami - Mumma, being an Army doctor, aap khud jante ho ki 'jaan se pehle desh'! Ek commando ki jaan ka koi bharosa nahi and you know that. (Turning towards Deepak) Papa, please try to understand na! I wanna make you proud!

Deepak - Beta, you already making me proud! Tum itni successful doctor ho, you can even establish a clinic or hospital of your own. (In a fed-up tone) Army join karne ki kya zaroorat hai?

Monami sighed on Deepak's constant tries of pulling her away from her dream. She made him sit on his chair and cupped his face as if she's his mother. Juhi was smiling secretly looking at the father-daughter duo, who're looking extremely cute right now.

Monami - Papa, please try to understand...main desh ke liye kuchh karna chahati hoon. I want to be a commando and serve the nation! Please papa, just one chance.

Deepak sighed at Monami's zidd and looked up at Juhi, asking for some help. But to his disappointment, he just received a pair of eyes looking at him pleadingly. He shook his head on his wife who had similar baby antics as of Monami. Deepak accepted his defeat in front of his ladies and nodded his head slowly.

Deepak - Fine Monu, you can join Parakram SAF!

Monami squealed in happiness and hugged her mother while jumping.

Deepak - Arre bhai, haan maine kaha aur hug mumma ko? Not fair!

Monami & Juhi chuckled on Deepak's cute words and Monami shared a hug with him too. Deepak lovingly caressed her hair and placed a deep kiss on her head.

Monami - Thank you mumma papa, thank you so much! Main aapko zaroor proud feel karvaungi, I'll be an incredible commando!

Juhi - Vo to mujhe pata hai, meri bachi mujhe kabhi disappoint nahi kar sakti. Ek kaam karo, tum abhi ghar jao, main bhi kuchh der mein aati hoon. Hum tumhari packing karlenge!

Monami jumped like a kiddo in happiness and left from the cabin but not without hugging her parents once again.

Juhi - Deep, thank you so much!

Deepak - Kis liye?

Juhi - Apne fears aur insecurities ko side rakh kar apni beti ke decision ko support karne ke liye!

Deepak - Juhi, vo meri bhi beti hai. Main humesha apni bachi ko khush hi to dekhna chahunga na!

Juhi smiled wide and was about to leave the cabin when she felt a sudden pull on herself.

Deepak - Kaha chali aap madam? Monami itni khush hai, aap itni khush hain, hume bhi zara khush hone ka mauka dijiye!

Saying so, Deepak started leaning towards Juhi and before anything could happen, she ran away while blushing hard.

Deepak started laughing whole heartedly on his Juhi's teenage behaviour. He just wished and prayed for him family's well being. Especially for Monami, he wished that she stays safe and protected throughout her army training and also wished her luck, mentally.
