Three-person POV

The group stops running and catches their breath on the main street.

"Huff, huff... That was scary. What's their deal?" Grim asked while sitting on the ground.

"Don't ask me. They've been that way since last year and I just can't handle them." Riddle said placing both hands on his knee.

"I'd be afraid of their revenge if I want after them." Cater complemented.

"I wouldn't even try," Ace added.

"The sun's gonna start going down so let's--" Before Cater could continue Lucas asked.

"Where is Lady Y/n?" Everyone flinched.

"What do you mean?" Ace asked back, then look around "She~~ isn't here". Everyone looks around and Y/n isn't with them.

"Wait! I thought, she's with you dorm leader." Deuce said.

"W-what? No, she wasn't." Riddle replied.

Cater opened his phone and went to the group chat he make. He saw Y/n texts 'where are you guys?. Cater soon repay in the texts 'At the main street. We will be waiting for you.

As Y/n received the texts, she quickly used her shadow teleportation magic and teleport to the main street.

"Hey, I just texted Y/n that, we are in the main street. So let's just wait for her." Cater told everyone, however, seconds later Y/n popped up from Riddle's shadow.

"Hey, guys." Y/n places her hand on Riddle's shoulder.

"AH!?" Everyone screamed.

"Okay! Why did you guys scream like you have seen a ghost?" Y/n asked.

"Y-you just pop off, in R-Riddle shadow." Cater stuttered.

"Eh eh eh!? Sorry about that." Y/n apologized.

"Oh, yea. Y/n, you can use teleportation magic." Deuce said, remembering the day he saw Y/n done it before.

"You can use teleportation magic?" Ace asked.

"Yes, I can," Y/n answered.

"THEN, WHY DIDN'T YOU USE IT A WHILE AGO?" The ginger boy shouted.

"Because everyone suddenly starts running, and it happens that we split up into three groups. So I don't have time to use my magic on everyone." I explained. "Anyways, we should finish up fast. The sun is going down soon."

"Right! Let's get to our last 'Cater Check' for today. Jack Howl from Savanaclaw Dorm. First-year." Cater check his phone, and he continued. "He's super good at anything involving physical activity, and I heard a rumor that he got a flood of invitations from every sports club."

"It's late enough he might already be back at his dorm." Deuce guesses as he looks at the sky.

"I think so too," Celestia said.

"Aah, it's already 5:00. Law of the Queen of Heart, number 346 'One must not play croquet in the garden after 5 pm. I'm going back to the dorm. there are those who break the rude if I take my eyes off of them" Riddle told the group.

"I thought you'd loosened up a bit you're the same as ever." Grim complained. Celestia stepped on the little monster's tail, causing Grim to scream.

"You're the one who didn't change here?" She said.

"Guhh... I thought I had loosened the rules up a lot, like a lot." Riddle mumbled.

"Hmm hmm. You are much more lenient than before. Your seriousness is one of your good points, Riddle." Cater complemented with a smile, "So, good luck, Riddle."

"I'll just fill you in, on the details we get in the Savanaclaw," Y/n said.

"Yes, thank you. Be careful, and Y/n don't try to disappear from your group again." Riddle waved goodbye as we part ways. A sweat dropped on Y/n face, then turn to face her team.

"Why did Riddle say, 'don't try to disappear? I'm not always disappearing from you guys, right?" She asked.

"While.... that is..." Deuce tails off.

"The moment we take our eyes off you. You just suddenly vanished away, and this is your fifth time." Ace added.

"Seriously!?" The girl titled her head.

"Yep." Grim agreed.

"Yeah." Deuce raised his hand.

"It's true, princess," Lucas said.

"Totally true," Celestia said.

"Oh, man!" Y/n mumbled then sigh.

"Back to the topic, we should get over to Savanaclaw." Ace placed his hands on his hips.

Everyone starts walking to the hall of mirrors and heads to the Savanaclaw dorm. The moment they step foot inside the dorm, they saw a huge rock, skeleton, and sands. The place and detail seem to be almost felt like you are in savannah.

"Whoa~ So this is Savanaclaw dorm." Deuce seems amazed by what the Savanaclaw looks like.

"It's rugged and looks like it's made from rocks! what animal did that big skeleton come from?" Grim asked as Y/n knee down, to take a closer look at the skeleton.

"From the structure of the bone, it is a Woolly mammoth or elephant" Y/n answered Grim.

"It's got a totally different vibe from our dorm." Ace commented.

"Right. It's like, rough and tumbles? Just the air feels wild, y'know." Cater add up.

"We're looking for Jack? What's he look like?" Ace asked as Y/n and Grim turned their attention to the group.

"Tan skin with silver hair. His wolf-like ears and bushy tail are his trademarks, apparently." Cater describe Jack's appearance.

"Bushy tail..." Lucas mumbled

Grim looks around the environment, "Oh. Isn't that him? He's running around the yard!" The raccoon points out.

"Bingo! Grim wins this one. He fits the description perfectly. There's no doubt." Cater said joyfully.

"We've got another big one after those twins earlier!" Ace gasping for air.

"That's why all the clubs were trying to scout him."

"He's probably good at martial arts too with that brawn," Deuce spoke up.

"Let's go talk to him." Y/n stands up on her feet, then turns to Celestia. "Celestia, aren't your paw burning from the heat. It's maybe best if Lucas curried you." Celestia nodded, and Lucas hold her in his arms.

"You're nervous, Princess? It's okay, you will be fine, just relax!" Cater pull out a small joke, as he pats both of her shoulders.

'Didn't I tell him not to call me, 'Princess always.' Y/n sighed. 'Calling me by my first name is fine, though.'

"If he tries to bite you I'll protect you, okay." Cater added, the girl's eyes widened open then follow by a giggle.

"Okay, thank you senpai." Y/n smile.

"Hey, prickly guy!" Grim shouted at Jack.

"....huh!?" Jack turns his attention to the little monster.

"Some bad guys might be coming after you so we have decided to protect you! aren't you happy!"

"What's your problem? Don't get in the way of my running." Jack seems to be displeased by Grim.

"Ah aaaah." Ace grunted.

"Wait a sec. Grim, your way of confronting him has way too many problems!" Cater curried Grim and covered his mouth.

"Ffnga! Mmmgghmmghh!"

"Sorry about him. Do you think you could listen to us for a moment?" Cater asking.

"What do you want out of the blue? You're going to protect me?" Jack asked back.

"Recently there have been a large number of accidents around campus involving students likely to be playing in the upcoming magical shift tournament," Deuce explained.

"And we're looking for the culprit," Ace added.

"What's that got to do with me?" Jack asked the group with his hand placed on his hips.

"Put bluntly, we think you're likely to be targeted next," Y/n spoke up from the side.

"So our plan is to put a mark on you and catch them in the act." Cater added up. "Thoughts? Would you be willing to help us out?"

"..... I refuse. I'll figure something out on my own so there's no need for you to protect me." Jack said with his arms crossed together.

"It might be more dangerous by yourself," Celestia said.

".... I said, I don't need it." Jack said, "And... me being targeted... probably, won't happen." Jack mumbled as everyone didn't hear him except for Y/n, "See ya." He turned around and starts walking away.

'Probably, won't happen?... Does he know the person making this incident?... Jack Howl, what are you hiding?' The girl thought to herself.

"And there he goes." Cater sighed.

"He sure was a rude jerk, huh." Grim pissed.

"The way you talked to him would rub anyone the wrong way." Ace said to the raccoon.

"Gaaah! Having to pick a different way to talk to everyone makes humans such a pain!" Grim complained

"Oi, what are you doing?" Three Savanaclaw residents start walking toward us. The group turned their attention to the residents.

"They're from Heartslabyul." The red-haired residents said.

"He he he. They're that brat's grunts." The white-haired resident said.

"Did you really think we'd let you come onto our territory and just leave like that?" The brown-haired resident said.

"Ugh. This pattern..." Deuce mumbled.

"Ah, we're leaving! Sorry about the intrusion--" Ace smiled at them, the group soon turned around and was about to run away. However...

"Don't be like that come hang with us!" The residents grabbed the girl from her arms and pulled Y/n close.

"LET HER GO!!" The heartslabyul shouted.

"Get. Your. Dirty. Hands. Off. My. Master." Lucas starts to speak like a monster making the three Savanaclaw residents freeze in their place. The other one, who holds Y/n quickly let's go and move away.

"Eh eh eh! Let's play a game of cat and mouse! Y'all are mice of course." The white residents laughed as if nothing happened.

"Knock it off." A male voice appeared in the sense as everyone stayed frozen in their place. Y/n, Grim, and Celestia quickly recognized the voice tone.
