Three-person POV

"Hey, beasty! O-o-o-over here." Grim calling out to monsters.

"Grrr... Leeeaaavve!"

"Gah! It's coming."

"Over here, beasty." Celestia waves her arms up, to get the monster's attention.

"Grr!? There...Thief...too... Won't give...mine...mine." The monster is about to punch Celestia, but she sees through the monster's movement. Then, she makes an ice wall as cover, however, it is much stronger than the ice... At this point, when Celestia sees the ice is breaking she was punched back.

"Gyah! The punch looks like a knockout if it lands." Grim shouted.

"Get as far it from the tunnel as possible," Celestia yelled.

"Go away! Go away."

"It's pretty far from the tunnel now!" Grim yelled.

"Now!" Celestia gave the signal Ace and Deuce join in the battle, while y/n used her shadow magic to teleport inside the Mine and grab the crystal.

"Ok, I got this! Let's go, Extra Large Tempest." Ace channeled his magic to the monster.

Followed by Grim, "And the Great Grim's Fire Special! Ffgnaaa."

Then, Felix. "Baubillious." A spell to make a raining thunders.

"Guaaah!!?"

"How's that! I can even fan Grim's shoddy flame into an inferno...and have seen that lightning is like electric zap." Ace said proudly.

"It's not shoddy! Ugh, every word out of your mouth pisses me off." Grim piss off.

"Same goes here! And My thunders are not electric zap." Felix shouted. "If you want to see an electric zap. I'll give you one."

"The monster's caught in the fire and lightning tornado," Celestia announced.

"Calm down...take aim...the biggest, heaviest...thing I know..." Deuce takes his time on concentrating his thoughts. "Come forth, cauldron."

Deuce summons a pot and hits the monster, "Guaah!"

"Got it! Nice work everyone. Hey, look! The monster looks flat as a pancake just like Ace did earlier." Grim cheered.

"You don't need to bring that up again! Jeez, today just isn't my day." Ace complained.

"Let's go! Find y/n and the magic crystal while the thing can't move." Deuce said as everyone nod and run inside the Mine.

"Guah!? Waaaaiiiit!" Celestia and Felix heard the monster as it stood up

Y/N POV

"Now!" Celestia gave the signal, as I used my shadow magic to teleport inside the Mine and grab the crystal.

'Now! Where is that magic crystal?' " Lumos." I put out my wand and chant my spells.

I run around the Mine after a few seconds ghosts soon appeared in the Mine. "Heeheeeheee... Look who's back?"

"Heeeheehee... Where are your friends? You know, the man with a heart in the face and the blue-haired man along with that scary cat of yours." The Ghost A said that ten more ghosts appeared around the wall blocking in front and back.

"Heehheeehheee. You can't run away now."

I closed my eyes, "Eh!? Who said I am running away?" Then, opened them as my eyes changed to purple.

"HUH!?"

"I am just getting started." I smiled at them, "I summon you from your deaths of despair, come forth and lead me with your hand. For I will lead you to your afterlife. 'Shadow Monarch." I use my unique magic, as the shadow around the Mine suddenly started moves and the shadow of the army slowly comes out.

"AAAAaaahh!? W-what are those things?" The Ghost B shouted.

"Defeat all those ghosts inside this Mine... and try not to collapse the Mine while at it." I said my shadow army.

"We will do as our mistress commends." The army said at same time.

"huh!?" The ghost flinched and started runs away as the shadow army follows them. While they were busy running around, I continued to find the magic crystal.

'Come on! Come on, where are you?' I thought to myself, all of a sudden a light flash went to my eye again. "Ah!? Found you." I grab the magic crystal then go back, "Shadow armies, you done well! Now, I have asked you to return and rest well." The shadow army bowed down then, went back to my shadows.

I breathed in then out, as I bring back my e/c eye. "I hope everyone is doing well back outside." I teleport through the shadow again.

Three-person POV

"Hands oooooofff" The monster shouted at everyone.

"Crap! That thing is almost free... Where is y/n with our magic crystal?" Ace starts to panic.

"Hey, Deuce! Throw some more stuff on it." Grim told Deuce.

"Uhh! Something heavy!?" Deuce said cannot think clearly. "C-come forth! Cauldron. And um..ummm! Cauldron!? One more cauldron."

"Is Cauldron the only thing he knows that is heavy?" Felix said to Celestia.

"I think so..." Celestia agreed.

"Nnnguuuaaah!"

"Do you have nothing but cauldrons in your repertoire!?" Ace getting annoyed.

"Shut up! I'm at my wits' end here." Deuce shouted at Ace. As Grim lights up a fire to the monster and Celestia ice wall around him.

A few minutes later, Y/n soon comes out. "Sorry, I'm late! I run into few troubles while look for the crystal."

"Never mind about that! We got the magic crystal. Let's skedaddle." Grim said.

"Roger." Ace said.

"That...is...Miiiiiiiine!!"

Y/n POV

We quickly ran out to the entrance, few seconds later the monster knocked all stuff out and coming right to us.

"That...is...miiiiine"

"You're kidding!? It knocked off all that stuff and came after us." Ace yelled.

"Uhh...uggggh! Give...it...baaaack!"

"Shoot! It's gonna catch up to us." Deuce shouted.

"But it's weaker! Now we might..." I said, we all stop and turn around.

"Ah! Fine. Let's finish it. Don't let me down, Mr. Serious." Ace walked beside Deuce.

"You too," Deuce replied.

"I'll show off my true power," Grim yelled as confident.

"I still have a little energy left... I will help as much, I can." I said to them, as the fight began Ace, Deuce, and Grim channeled their magic at the monster. And now it is my turn.

"Deuce, catch!" I throw the magic crystal to Deuce, starts to walk at the monster

"Huh!? What are you going to do?" As Deuce tries to follow me, Celestia covers their way.

"It will be dangerous if you go there." She said, "Just watch."

"AAAAAhhh..."

"First, I visualize some combustible gas..." My left and right hand start showing a blue fire, just Grim flames. I circle the flame around the air from the side, down then, move up on top of my head... releasing a strong wind.

"Fgggmm..." Grim is getting blown away.

"HUh!? What's going on?" Ace asked as his one eye is close.

"This... power..." Deuce struggles to speak.

"This is where... the critical part begins..." I said, Celestia chants a strong ice shield in front of them as Felix grabs hold to grim.

"Give the image directionality. Up to now, the impact has been spread out." Making a huge circle of magic, "So now, narrow the explosive energy into a single direction and...Release!" I blow the magic right to the monster pushing it back inside the Mine.

"Huff, huff!" Everyone opens their eyes and sees a huge blue flame in the ground.

"W-w-what that? What happened here" Ace shouted in surprise.

"Where did the monster go?" Grim asked.

"??"

"We...did it?" Ace speechless.

"W-we won... we actually won!" Grim cheered as he jumped on his feet.

"Hooray." Deuce cheer.

"We did it." Ace shouted.

"Victory high five!" Grim, Deuce, and Ace gave them all a high five. "Yay!" As I drop myself down on the ground.

'I use up half of aura on that one... Ah ah ah! Grandpa is really full of surprises, when it comes with magic.' I look at guys as they jump up and down. "Is this that 'adversity brings people together' thing?" I said.

"Ah! N-no. This is nothing like that." Deuce said.

"Y-yeah, yeah! Could you stop saying weird things?" Ace said.

"W-we won thanks to my genius! It's not because we pooled our strength!" Grim said as he took all the favor on him.

"Why is that little monster taking all the credit to himself?" Felix muttered, but I chuckle it all out.

"Y/n! Are you alright?" Celestia goes to me and pull out her hand in front of me, I reach out my hand to hers. 

"Yes!" I answered.

"... I guess making excuses is pretty lame. I hate to admit it but we won thanks to your plan." Ace said.

"...true. We got the magic crystal because you gave us level-headed instructions. This way, we can prevent expulsion." Deuce added. "I am so relieved..." Gave a relieved sigh.

"I'm glad everyone is alright and safe," I told them.

"Yeah, yeah. We're all relieved. and seriously worn out and battered. Let's go home." Ace whining. "Oh yeah! What magic did you use on that monster a while ago?"

"And how did you do that?" Deuce asked.

"Huh!? You mean that magic." I titled my head, "I just use fire magic and added some combustible gas and gave an impact. Then put explosive energy into a single direction."

"Incredible." Deuce said in amazed.

"So wait! You said 'You use fire magic." Ace said and I gave him a nod, "So that mean this furball can also use that this some magic that you use a while ago."

I placed my index finger into my chin. "Yes! If I teach him how to use his magic properly, and how to control his magic? Then Grim can also use that technic I use."

"No way, really! Yeah, oh." Grim stomach soon starts to growl. "I'm starving from using so much magic... Hm? What's this?" The little monster notices a black stone in the ground.

"Remnants from the monster? A magic crystal? But I've never seen one pitch-black like coal before." Deuce said.

Grim sniffed the black crystal. "This thing smells really good..."

"Seriously!?" Ace and I freak out.

"This has to be candy the monster was hiding! Ooooh. I can't hold back! Time to dig in."

Before I can stop him, the raccoon had already eaten it, "He actually ate it?"

"Guh!?"

"Hey, you alright?" Deuce asked.

"Oh boy...that's why I don't eat things off the ground." Ace sighed.

"De.....d-d-d-delicious!?" Grim shouted.

"What!?" All of us yelled in shock.

"It's full-bodied but also rich with an aromatic sweetness that blooms in my mouth... Like a whole field of flowers in my mouth!" Grim explains the test.

"Oh really?" Felix said then try it as well then, spit out. "Liar! It's a test like a rock... how can you even eat that thing?"

"Bleh! Monsters really do have different tastes from us." Ace was disgusted by Grim.

"I guess so... But more than that... most people wouldn't put a mysterious object in their mouth without thinking," Deuce said.

"I agree. "I agreed with Deuce. "Monster will eat anything..."

"Gahahaha! tasty, tasty! Don't worry. My stomach isn't weak like yours." Grim said as he laughed with delight.

"Don't come crawling to me when you get sick later." Ace said.

"Switching gears, let's get this magic crystal to the headmaster," Deuce said with a smile. We went back to the Night Raven College.
