Interviewer: Today I'm joined by the girls from The Vampire Diaries, Nina Dobrev and Hope Riley! Thank you for joining us girls, it's a pleasure to be talking to you this morning. 

Hope: No, thank you. We're thrilled to be here!

Interviewer: The pair of you are rivals on-screen while you're best friend's off-screen, does that make shooting scenes with each other a lot harder because obviously you have such a good relationship? 

Hope: Oh, no. I think if anything it makes it easier. Nina's really annoying sometimes so it's fun to, you know, let loose on her once and a while. [both girls laughing]

Nina: Hope's right actually, it's nice to have that kinda relationship where if you're shooting a scene that has a little confrontation, you know you're not gonna actually upset the person. I always get conscious of that.

Interviewer: So, at the moment you're filming the season 5, am I right?

Nina: Yeah, we have a few more scenes to shoot and then we're wrapped for a week or so. So yeah, very exciting! I cannot wait for a little break. 

Interviewer: So, Hope, Is there any spoilers or things you can reveal for season 5? I'm sure your fans are dying to know that's going to happen between Damon and Evelyn.

Hope: Ah, well I'm not sure how much I can say without getting fired. [nervously laughs] but obviously in the season finale, Evelyn and Damon revealed their feelings together so who knows what's in store for season 5, but... I can say is that their is LOTS of Damon and Evelyn cute stuff.

Nina: You betcha' [laughs]

Interviewer: How exciting! We announced that you would be doing an interview with us this morning on our Twitter page and our notifications quite literally blew up with questions for you guys, so would you mind answering a few? 

Nina: Of course!

Interviewer: Iheartninadobrev asks: Hope, is it weird having to play a character that's your best friend's boyfriend? 

Hope: I actually love Nina and Ian together and I completely adore their relationship on a whole, and Ian is like one of my best friend's so it's not weird at all. 

Interviewer: HopesRiley asks: I'm so happy you and Daniel are together but is it real or just for publicity?

Hope: [smiles awkwardly] Daniel's a cutie. No, we're one-hundred percent real and we're taking everything one step at a time. I would never date someone for fame or publicity, I find it wrong to be perfectly honest. But, he's a blessing and I adore him completely.

Nina: They are adorable, aren't they? I love them together and I fully support their relationship because they're just so happy around each other. [smiles at Hope]

Interviewer: simplytvd asks: what do you guys like do do off-set?

Nina: Sleep! Honestly, I sleep anywhere. A chair, the grass... [laughs]

Hope: I'm not that boring. [looks at Nina] I try and spend as much times with friends and family as I possibly can. It's good to have a social life and free time to myself.
