BLACKPINK LEAVES YG !!

According to KpopHerald (the K-Pop subdivision of media outlet The Korea Herald), BLACKPINK will be leaving YG Entertainment and changing their management label to THE BLACK LABEL, which is an associate company under YG Entertainment.

YG Entertainment officials has told KpopHerald that they cannot confirm the news, but the BLACKPINK members still have time left on their contracts.

Here's what YG said:
"I’m not in the position to confirm the news, but our contracts with the members have not yet ended. It’s hard to confirm whether they will sign with The Black Label or not after their contracts end."

ENHYPEN attends the Prada Fall Winter 23 Menswear Fashion Show.

ENHYPEN proved to be the main event as they attend fashion week in Milan together. The group was invited to attend the Prada Fall Winter 23 Menswear Fashion Show, where they made history as the first male K-Pop group of their generation to attend an overseas fashion show together.

The crowds of fans waiting just for them proved that they were truly the highlight of the event.

Jay from ENHYPEN apologizes for his comments about korean history. He posted his apology on Enhypen's official weverse account.

His apology came after a comment about Korean history he made during the live with another member, Sunghoon.

Sunghoon said “I find Korean history to be fun these days,” to which Jay replied, “I [prefer] world history. I learned a good amount of Korean history in school. I don’t think there’s that much information. If you just study for a couple weeks or skim over it, it’s over really quickly. It feels like a short story.”

Below is the apology addressed to the fans:

"Hello. This is ENHYPEN’s Jay.

After I concluded the Weverse Live today, I was very surprised to see fans’ reactions.

Regardless of the reason, I sincerely apologize to ENGENE for any discomfort and inconveniences that I have caused.

I spoke too negatively about the important topic of Korean history based only on my own personal impression. It is not a topic I should have rashly talked about with lack of knowledge. Today has become an opportunity for me to realize once again that I still have much to learn.

I had absolutely no intention of disregarding our proud history, but I recognize that my words may have caused others to feel that way, and that is my fault. I apologize.

Going forward, I will be more careful and study more so that I can become an artist ENGENE are not ashamed of.

I always learn so much from you all. Thank you."

Suga from BTS named brand ambassador for Valentino.

Suga from BTS is officially the new face of Valentino! On January 17, the luxury Italian fashion house announced that Suga had been chosen as its latest addition to its roster of brand ambassadors, whom it refers to as “Di.Vas” (“Different Values”).

Valentino director described Suga as:
“a multifaceted artist; he is an interpreter and uses his talent and his work to express himself with energy and authenticity. He perfectly embodies everything that DI.VA.s testimonials stand for: diversity, inclusivity, creativity, and passion.”

Suga's words:
“I consider it a joy to become a Valentino Di.Vas, and I’m sincerely delighted to be able to be a part of the Maison Valentino Essentials campaign.”
