ARYA WAS SAT ON THE SAND NEARER THE WATER, moving her finger to draw a pattern next to her. She was just watching the water flow up to her feet and then retreat back. Arya was more sat away from everyone because she could feel their pity stares even from here. She knew they would feel bad for her but she didn't need that. Arya lasted six years without any of her family and she was doing just fine. That's what she made herself believe anyways.
She lets out a sigh as she brings her arms to rest on top of her knees. It felt peaceful right now. Sure, she may be inside of a death arena but in this moment, sitting on the sand with the water, it was likely she was in her own little bubble. That's until someone decided to walk up to her and ruin it.
"Can I sit here?" Peeta's voice comes from beside her. Arya glances up at him, her eyes scanning over the man for a second. But she shrugs her shoulders as she turns her head to look back at the water.
"I guess." Arya mutters lightly, kicking the sand with her feet. Peeta sits down next to her, a sigh leaving his lips. He decided to just not say anything for a little bit because he didn't want it to seem like he was just coming over here because he felt bad.
Peeta admired her for going through so much and still pushing. Even though it seemed like she was coming to the end of the patience she had with this world. He would try his best to convince her that she didn't need to sacrifice herself for nothing. Peeta realized she wanted to be with her family, but she could do that after living a full life.
"I'm sorry, about your family." Peeta says, glancing over at her. Arya just nods her head, her jaw clenching slightly.
"Happens to the best of us." Arya replies, her eyes staring where they were. Peeta knew she was tough shell to crack, and it seemed that most people got on her bad side. He wouldn't name finnick but.... he was one that came to mind.
"Maybe." Peeta brings his eyes down to his hands. "My family wouldn't even care if I died in here." He admits with a small sigh. Arya moves her eyes over to him for a second. She furrows her eyebrows as she just moves her eyes over him.
"That's tough luck." Arya responds, she didn't know that he was practically all alone too, just in a different way. I guess this is things you learned when you actually spoke to people.
"Mhm." Peeta hums, nodding his head. "Your brothers were lucky they had a sister who would do anything for them." He points out. He would've killed to have a sibling like her who actually cared what happened to them. Arya fiddles with her fingers.
"I don't know about that." Arya denies. She felt like she failed them, which she had. They were both dead and she felt like it was her fault that it happened.
"You were how young taking care of both of them? Give yourself some credit." Peeta says, not wanting her to think that it wasn't a huge thing what she did. She dealt with her parents deaths and made sure her brothers were okay growing up. She couldn't have stopped the reaping and what Jacob felt, no one could force him to stay. He had to make that decision for himself. He knew she was there for him.
"Why are you being so nice to me?" AryaΒ questions, staring at the man. She was a bit skeptical which is just how she grew up. Usually when someone was nice to you, they wanted something from you.
"I have to a reason to be nice to you?" Peeta responds, raising an eyebrow at her.
"Most people steer clear of me, so why aren't you?" Arya asks him, crossing her arms against her chest. She didn't mean to get so defensive, she just wasn't used to be wanting to have a conversation with her. "I tried to kill your little girlfriend." She points out, referencing Katniss.
Peeta only nods his head slowly. "But you didn't." He retorts. Peeta wasn't going to hold something against her that she didn't go through with. "And anyone who saves my life is considered a friend." Peeta tells her with a soft smile forming on his face. Arya raises her eyebrows, a bit taken aback.
"I'm your friend?" Arya questions, narrowing her eyes a bit. Peeta nods firmly.
"Yeah." Peeta says, nudging her a little bit before raising hands up in defense. "Unless I'm not cool enough to be friends with you." He points out with a small chuckle. Arya rolls her eyes playfully, biting the inside of her cheek.
"You're all right." Arya admits as she shrugs her shoulders. Peeta was a sweet guy, she could see that. Honestly, he was one of the most honest people she'd met in a while.
"I'll take it." Peeta responds, his smile brightening. "How's your stomach?" He asks her, wanting to know how her wound was since the stitches had come undone during the fight.
"It's okay." She admits as she could still feel the pain but she can live with it. Arya was kind of hoping that she was bleeding internally, maybe it would end her suffering early. "I'll survive." Arya tells him, brushing her hair out of her face.
"Wesley seems very fond of you." Peeta says, glancing over to where he was sat next to Katniss. Anyone could see that Wesley just wanted what was best for Arya. And Arya clearly didn't blame him for what happened to her brother.
But it wasn't his fault. It was his first year as a mentor and there really wasn't much he could do when they were inside. Arya knew that from when she had to mentor as well. It wasn't easy watching the kids go into the arena and seeing them be killed. Arya knew of the burden he must carry.
"No, he doesn't." Arya denies, furrowing her eyebrows as she meets Peeta's gaze. Peeta just smiles as he rests back against his hands.
"He does." Peeta tells her as he watches her expression for a moment. "Do you like him?" He asks her. Arya rolls her eyes a bit, raising an eyebrow at the man. Who'd know that he was a little gossip.
"Peeta, we are not some teenage school girls." Arya retorts with a snort, shaking her head. Peeta smirks as he tilts his head a little bit.
"You're deflecting."
"I am not."
"Do you love him?" Peeta was obviously just teasing her, mainly just wanting to cheer her up. Arya groans but she couldn't help but let out a laugh as she hits his shoulder, pushing him away from her.
"Shut up!" She tells him, scrunching up her nose. Peeta just makes kissing noises as he leans back toward her. Arya presses her lips together tightly, trying to stop the smile from forming.
"I will shove sand in your mouth." Arya warns him, pointing her finger in his direction. Peeta narrows his eyes, as if taunting her to see if she'd actually do it. She takes a handful of it in her hand, giving him a threatening gaze.
In the distance, Johanna and Finnick watch as Peeta stops Aryas hand from throwing sand in his face. They could hear the laughter from the tree line and Johanna can't help but smile as she watches them. "They seem to be getting along." Johanna points out as she glances toward Finnick.
The man was just staring at the pair, as if lost in thought. Finnick nods his head, clearing his throat a bit. "Yeah." He responds. Finnick could see why Arya would become friends with Peeta, he seemed to be quite nice to her. Not that Finnick wouldn't want to be friends with her, he just didn't see the woman looking past the many arguments that they've had with each other.
His eyes finally meet Johanna's gaze and he could tell that she wanted to say something but was keeping her mouth shut and for good reason. "Johanna, I swear if you say one more word." Finnick warns her, glaring at the woman. Johanna just smiles a bit at him. "Don't even look at me like that." He adds. Johanna only crosses her arms against her chest.
"I'm not even doing anything." Johanna responds with a scoff, furrowing her eyebrows. She could blink toward him and Finnick would think it was her giving him a sign.
"Yes, you are." Finnick responds making Johanna just roll her eyes, becoming a bit annoyed with him.
"You're mental." She mutters, shaking her head as she brings her hand up to rub her face a little bit. Finnick seemed frustrated with her and she understood that he didn't want her to keep bringing up Arya, but she literally wasn't. His mind was playing tricks on him or something.
"Why are you even trying to set me up with her? She has a boyfriend." Finnick points out. This takes Johanna a second, her eyebrows furrowing as she just stares at him. What boyfriend? Johanna would know if Arya was seeing someone.
"A boyfriend?" Johanna asks him, confused as she tilts her head a bit.
"That guy she's always talking about. The one she came here for. They're together, aren't they?" Finnick asks her. Johanna's eyes widen in the slightest when she realized who he was talking about. Matthew. He thought that Matthew was Aryas boyfriend.
She couldnt help but have a little fun with it. "Yes." Johanna responds, trying to hide her smirk as she places her hands on her hips, giving the man a firm nod. "Yeah, no you are completely right on that." She says, biting her tongue to hold back her laugh.
He truly was completely oblivious if he thought that Matthew and Arya were a thing. Johanna knew they thought of each other like siblings and she didn't understand how Finnick saw something different. Maybe he was just trying to think of any reason why she wouldn't like him. Either way, Johanna would love to see how this would pan out.
"Great, so leave it alone." Finnick mutters, glancing back toward Arya for a second before heading to the rest of the group. Johanna instantly smirks the moment he was gone, shaking her head.
The lovesick fool really did not what he was in for.

JOHANNA LOOKS OVER TOWARD THE WATER, seeing that Peeta and Arya were still talking with each other. Beetee told them that he had a plan and so he wanted everyone to hear it. But it didnt seem like either of them had noticed yet, too fixated in their conversation. "Peeta, Arya!" She shouts, gaining their attention. She waves them over to the group and they both get up, jogging over to them.
When they reach the group, Arya places her hands on her hips. "What's up?" She asks curiously as she looks at the group. Wesley crosses his arms against his chest as he moves to stand next to her. Finnick sees this, his jaw clenching slightly.
"Beetee has a plan." He tells her and she nods her head slowly. Arya moves her eyes to Beetee, wondering what he would suggest they did. They didn't really need to do much to kill who was left.
"Where do the careers feel safest? The jungle." Beetee asks them, raising his eyebrows at them.
"The jungles a nightmare." Johanna denies, no one would willingly be in there unless they had to be. Which granted, they couldn't come out of it otherwise the others would see them.
"They wouldn't risk all of the threats." Arya denies. She honestly could deal with the careers if she really wanted to. But it felt like a lot of work trying to track them down.
"Probably here on the beach." Peeta adds, gesturing to where they where now.
"Then why are they not here?" Beetee asks.
"Because we are. We claimed it." Johanna points out, shrugging her shoulders. Beetee nods his head.
"And if we left they would come?" Beetee asks them, looking around the group for an answer. Arya really didn't know where he was going with this.
"Or stay hidden in the tree line." Finnick suggests, they would most likely scan the area before just walking onto the beach.
"Which in just four hours would be soaked with water from the ten o'clock wave." Beetee says making everyone just stare at him. "And what happens at midnight?" He asks causing katniss to narrow her eyes, she understood where he was going with this now.
"Lightning strikes that tree." Katniss states.
"Here's what I propose. We leave the beach at dusk. We head to the lightning tree. That should draw them back to the beach." Beetee tells them as he gestures to where the huge tree was. Not that anyone could really miss it. "Prior to midnight we then run this wire from the tree to the water. Anyone in the water or on the damp sand will be electrocuted." He says. Peeta runs his hand into the sand, feeling the dampness of it.
"How do we know the wires not gonna burn up?" Johanna asks, narrowing her eyes as she knew there was always something that could go wrong with plans.
"Because I invented it. I assure you, it won't burn up." Beetee tells her, seemingly a bit offended that she would think it wouldn't work.
"And we should just trust you?" Arya asks, at this point, it wasn't really clear who she should trust right now. She knew Johanna would never betray her, neither would Wesley. The others were still a maybe.
"It doesn't hurt to try it." Wesley admits, looking down at her. He knew she was skeptical but they needed this to work so that they could get out.
"Well, it's better than hunting them down." Johanna mutters with a sigh. She didn't really want to wander the woods trying to find them.
"Yeah, why not." Katniss says as she shrugs her shoulders. "If it fails, no harm done anyways, right?" She points out, sharing a glance with Peeta. It seemed they were having a silent conversation between them. At least that's how it looked to Arya.
"All right, I say we try it." Peeta agrees, nodding his head as he clears his throat. Arya just crosses her arms as she leans back against the tree.
"So, what can we do to help?" Finnick asks curiously as he looks toward Beetee.
"Keep me alive for the next six hours. That would be extremely helpful." Beetee says with a sigh, needing them to protect him if this was gonna work. Wesley nods his head slowly.
"Well, there's only the two careers left. It's not looking too good for them." He points out. Enobaria and Brutus had to realize that they really had no shot here. There was seven of them versus two.
"They definitely have to be more careful on how they come about attacking us." Peeta adds, agreeing with Wesley. The odds were more in their favour than they were the careers.
"Don't worry, Finnick will poke them with his little stick." Arya points out as she gestures toward Finnick. He moves his eyes to her, raising an eyebrow at her. She really had a point of trying to belittle him.
"It saved your ass didn't it, sweetheart?" Finnick retorts, taking a step toward her. Was she forgetting that Brutus was on top of her and he had stopped the man from stabbing her?
"We'd only have to deal with Enobaria had you have killed him." Arya tells him, crossing her arms against her chest as she narrows her eyes. "And don't call me sweetheart." She hated how he would constantly call her that. It's like he knew that's what got underneath her skin.
Finnick just smirks as he takes another step toward her, looming over the woman. "You don't like the nickname, sweetheart?" He asks, tilting his head as his eyes ran over her for a second. Arya just stood there, not moving as she gazed up at him. She could feel his breath hit her skin as they were mere inches a part.
But she was pulled away from Finnick, a hand wrapped around her arm. "Okay, I am taking you away from here before you two actually kill each other." Johanna states, not needing to get in between their petty squabble one more time.
"I don't think that's what they'd be doing." Katniss mutters as she pressed her lips together tightly. Johanna overheard her, smirking in the woman's direction as Peeta just chuckles from beside her.
It was clear to most of the people in their group the undeniable sexual tension between Arya and Finnick. They thought that one of them would notice with the way they looked at each other, but it seemed they were either both blind or just not thinking the way they were.
But they wouldn't be surprised if at one point, they gave up these petty arguments and did what they both actually wanted to do.

ARYA NOTICED KATNISS AND PEETA WERE SITTING AWAY FROM THE GROUP. They seemed to be talking about something whilst also glancing at the group.Β They both must've not realized she wasn't with the rest of them. She wondered if they were getting ready to run. Neither of them knew of Haymitchs plan so it was a possibility. She didn't even know why they were so in the dark.
She walks up behind them, bending down. It seems they hadnt noticed until she wrapped her arms around their necks. They both seemed to jump a bit but relaxed when they noticed that it was just Arya. Arya smirks, laughing to herself before pressing herself between them, to which they both moved so she'd have room.
"Sorry to interrupt lovebirds." Arya says as she crosses her legs together. "I just needed to rid myself of that annoyance for two seconds." She admits, nodding her head toward the group across the beach.
Katniss raises an eyebrow, knowing immediately who she was referring to.
"
You mean finnick?" She asks the woman who just stares at her with a faked shocked expression on her face.
"It has a name?" Arya asks them and Peeta rolls his eyes playfully as he chuckles underneath his breath.
"I now think you're actually in love with Finnick, not Wesley." Peeta corrects his earlier statement. This leaves Arya shocked for at least a solid minute.
"Finnick?!" She all but shouted, catching the mans attention. Arya covers her mouth, realizing she had been too loud. "You've lost your damn mind." Arya says, hushing her voice down as she stares at Peeta.
"I don't know.... there's tension." Peeta teases her with a smirk on his lips. Arya could only stare at him with a dumbfounded expression written on her face.
"You have seriously become delusional because I don't know what this so called tension is." She admits, clenching her jaw a little bit.
"It means we all know you two want to jump each other's bones." Katniss answers for her. Arya was speechless. They thought she wanted to have sex with finnick? Finnick?!
"You too?!" Arya asks her. She wondered who else had these thoughts. Probably everyone except herself and Finnick. "If I was jumping anyone's bones, it would be Johanna." She states with a scoff, crossing her arms against her chest.
Katniss and Peeta are silent, sharing a glance with each other. "Oh---" Peeta stops himself, his eyebrows furrowed as he shuts his mouth. Arya flickers her eyes between them, laughing lightly when she realized what they were probably thinking.
"I'm not gay. Just out of my options, I'd pick her." Arya admits as she shrugs her shoulders.
"Hey, am I not attractive?" Peeta asks her, clearly joking as he flickers his eyes between the women. Arya smirks to herself as she narrows her eyes.
"You want me to answer that in front of your fiance?" She teases him back, gesturing to Katniss. Katniss just smiles as she shakes her head.
"He's cute in my eyes." Katniss tells him, reaching over and stroking Peeta's cheek.
"Just cute?" Peeta asks her, a bit offended as he stares at Katniss who just rolls her eyes playfully. "Wow, I feel betrayed." He admits, crossing his arms against his chest.
"Fine, I change it to annoying." She tells him making Peeta gasp, grasping his heart as he fake fell into the sand. Katniss laughs, shaking her head.
"You can go join Finnick." Arya states, pointing to where the annoying people sat. The group now consisting of two people; Finnick and Peeta.
Peeta tilts his head, an idea suddenly popping up in his mind. "Maybe I will. And I'll tell him all about your gigantic crush on him." He teases her, a gigantic smirk forming on his face. Aryas smile drops as she just stares at him blankly.
"Peeta, that's not even remotely funny." She tells him, pointing her finger at him. Peeta slowly raises from the sand which made her on edge. She couldn't figure out if he was bluffing or not. "Peeta..." Arya warns, not about to give him mercy if he started running. Peeta seemed to get to his feet fully. "Don't you dare." Arya blinked and he was sprinting down the beach.
Her eyes went wide as he shouted the name out loud. "Finnick!" Arya runs after him, katniss following shortly behind. They gained the groups attention, Finnick looking confused at the sound of his name.
"Peeta!" Arya shouts before tackling the man into the sand. Peeta fights against her but she grabs his arms, pinning him to the ground. "No, you're not going anywhere." She denies, glaring down at him. Arya didn't know if he was really going to say it or not, but she couldn't take the risk.
"Katniss, help me!" Peeta pleads as he looks at the woman standing next to them. Katniss just watched Arya hold him against his will.
"I'm rather enjoying myself right here." Katniss admits with a smirk, an amused expression on her face. Now he really felt betrayed. Peeta groans as he fights back against Arya.
"I'll really shove sand in your mouth this time." Arya threatens as she grabs a handful. Luckily she was slightly distracted when Finnick yelled in their direction.
"Do you guys need me?" Finnick asks them, confused on what was even happening and why Peeta had shouted his name in the first place. Arya covers Peetas mouth before he can say anything.
"No!" She denies, not even looking up from her position. Peeta moves her hand, his arms trying to create leverage to push her off.
"She's trying to drown me in sand and katniss doesn't even care!" Peeta shouts out toward the group. They all knew it wasn't actually something serious because Katniss would be doing something about it. "You know there's witnesses!" He screams at her and she just smirks, chuckling to herself as she holds him down.
"Cry about it."
Β°β’Β°
JOHANNA SAT NEXT TO ARYA ON THE SAND, both of them a bit further away from the rest of the group. She just wanted some time alone with Arya. Mainly because there was so much testosterone in the other group, minus Katniss of course. "You and Peeta seem to be getting along." Johanna says, glancing over at the brunette. Arya nods her head slowly.
She never disliked peeta. She just disliked the whole reason he and Katniss won. Them as people weren't so bad. Well, she didn't like Katniss at first but she was partially to blame for that. Katniss was just defending herself. Arya shrugs her shoulders a but as she meets Johanna's gaze.
"He's not so bad." She admits, resting her chin on her knees. Johanna smirks as she narrows her eyes a little bit.
"Really? Cause you seem to tackle him an awful lot." Johanna teases her which makes Arya laugh a little bit. She knew they made quite a commotion. To a point where they were cheering on who they wanted to win.
"Just to keep his stupid mouth shut." Arya tells her as she glances to where Peeta was sat next to Katniss and Finnick. Johanna raises an eyebrow at her.
"About what?"
"He thinks I like finnick." Arya says hesitantly, not knowing what Johanna was gonna do with that information. Johanna only sat in silence, staring at the woman. She couldn't smirk, she couldn't, because then Arya would ask why she was.
"Really?" She settles for, biting her tongue as she looks down at the sand.
"I know. It's insane, right?" Arya questions with a scoff. Finnick is the last person in the entire world that she would ever fall for.
"So insane." Johanna agrees, feeling amused as she stops herself from laughing at the irony of it all. "I'm glad we're in here together." She says, wanting to change the topic before she gave herself away.
"You're glad Snow forced us back in the games?" Arya asks, furrowing her eyebrows. Last she checked, Johanna was screaming on stage for everyone to go fuck themselves.
"No, but I'm glad that you're by my side." Johanna admits as she shrugs her shoulders slightly. "You're the one victor I actually liked. Aside from Finnick." She tells her. Arya was about to be happy she said that, until the other name was mentioned.
"Why did you have to ruin it by saying his name?" Arya groans, scrunching her face up a little bit. Johanna rolls her eyes playfully before taking aryas hand in her own.
"You're a badass woman who no one even dares to talk bad about, don't you dare change anything." Johanna tells her, squeezing her hand. Arya was about to smile but it drips when she notices that finnick was walking up to them.
"Except Finnick who has a death wish." She mutters with a scoff, biting the inside of her cheek. Finnick hears his name as he stops beside Arya.
"What's that about me, sweetheart?" He asks as he sits down next to them, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. Arya grimaced as she glares at the man next to her.
"Ew, don't touch me." Arya groans, pushing his arm off of her. Finnick just smirks as he raises an eyebrow at her.
"Oh, you don't like it?" Finnick taunts as he moves closer to her. Arya was about ready to just punch him in his dick so he'd leave her alone.
"I never actually verbally agreed to this alliance you know." Arya points out, obviously meaning it as a threat. Johanna looks toward Finnick. She didn't actually think Arya would hurt Finnick, but honestly in this moment, she didn't know how far Arya would go.
"You won't actually do it." Finnick retorts, clearly not finding her threat that real.
"Oh, yeah?" He severely underestimated her quite a bit. But Finnick didn't seem affected by her statement. Instead, a smirk grew on his lips which made a flash of confusion form on her face.
"With what dagger?" Finnick asks as he stands up. Arya furrows her eyebrows, wondering what the hell he was talking about. She went to reach for her dagger that was on her waist band --- key word, was -- she didn't feel it there. Arya looks down, seeing that it had disappeared.
Arya brings her gaze back to his, an angered expression appearing. "You--" She starts to say, jumping up from the sand. Finnick laughs as he moves back a bit. "Give it back." Arya demands as she sees the dagger in his hand. Finnick holds it up, pretending to think for a second.
"No, you know what? I don't think I will." He denies, tilting his head. This was the one reason why she didn't want to join this stupid alliance. Screw Katniss, or Snow, even Matthew. It was all because of this annoying little prick who seemed to be amused by these little tricks.
"I'm not afraid to just snap your neck." Arya tells him. Finnick just rolls his eyes a bit.
"You do not have the strength for that." Finnick retorts. But Arya was ready to try anything at that point, especially to get her dagger back.
"Try me." She states, rushing at him but he just pushes her back, holding her at a distance.
"Say one nice thing about me and I'll give it back." Finnick says, cocking his eyebrow up at her. Arya was a bit taken aback by his request, wondering why the hell she would ever say something nice about him.
"What is this, the impossible challenge?" Arya asks him with a roll of her eyes. Finnick presses his tongue against the inside of his cheek as he narrows his own eyes a bit, tilting his head.
"One thing, sweetheart." Finnick says. There it was once again. Sweetheart. Arya tried to ignore the twist she got in her stomach whenever he called her that word.
Arya lets out a huff of air as she tilts her head back, staring at the sky. She clenches her jaw as her brain racks for an answer. Arya brings her gaze back to Finnicks who was waiting patiently. "You're sometimes not as annoying as you're being right now." She tells him with a shrug of her shoulders.
Finnick snorts as he shakes his head. "Uh-Uh." He denies, smirking at the woman.
"Oh, come on. That's nice." Arya points out but it didnt seem like he was going to give it back. She bites her tongue, looking at the man for a second before her eyes land on his trident. "You're good with your trident." She states, walking toward him and holding her hand out but he moves the dagger behind his back.
"That's too easy." Finnick denies as he shakes his head, stepping further back. Arya just rolls her eyes as she tries to grab her dagger from him.
"You never said it couldn't be easy." She points out with a groan. If he didn't want her to say that, then he should've been more specific. Arya places her hands on her hips, turning her gaze to Johanna. "Johanna, get him to give it back." Arya whines, practically like a little child.
Johanna raises her eyebrows at the pair.
"
What am I, your mother?" She asks. Although right now, it seemed like they were two toddlers. "I say tackle him." Johanna says with a smirk growing on her face. Finnick just glares at her, narrowing his eyes.
Arya tilts her head back for a moment, biting the inside of her cheek. She was trying to think of one thing, anything that she liked about Finnick. It really shouldn't be this hard. It wouldn't be with anyone else.
"I admire the way you took care of Annie since her games and how you tried to protect Mags." She says after a moment of silence between them. Arya remembered how Finnick took care of Annie who was a fellow victor and who Mags had volunteered for.
Most people said she went crazy but Arya didn't like saying that. She was traumatized from the things she witnessed in the games. It could've happened to anyone. And she was dealing with the aftermath every single day. She did admire that Finnick was there for her and helped her get through everything.
Finnicks face seemed to soften lightly as he gazed down at her. Arya lets out a sigh as she brings her arms across her chest. "I also know you could've killed me but you didn't." Arya adds, staring up at the man. She could see a small smile creep onto his lips as he takes a step toward her.
He brings her dagger from behind his back, holding it out for her. Arya just looks at it for a minute before taking it from his hand. As soon as she does, she narrows her eyes at him, holding it up toward him. "I might still cut you." Arya warns as she looks over him. Finnick just chuckles lightly, turning and heading back over to the rest of the group.
Arya sighs as she watches after him. She felt her gaze soften as she saw him start to make conversation with Peeta. No doubt talking about what had just happened. She bites the inside of her cheek, bringing her eyes down to the dagger in her hand. Johanna was watching her the whole time, a small smile on her lips.
Neither of them may realize it right now, but the way they looked at each other wasn't just like anyone else. There was something behind it. An emotion.
Love.
