Hopefully the chapter title caught your attention hehe, but yes, Arsenic Blues might get deleted from Wattpad.

Have any of you guys read my Jujutsu Kaisen fic, Tsunami? Well, yesterday it was just deleted by Wattpad. It was NOT deleted by me, Wattpad deleted it, they sent me a message and everything saying that they deleted it due to violations and stuff, so yeah.

It's pretty annoying, but it was bound to happen because of how heavily commercialized Wattpad is right now 😞. I'm just glad they deleted it now after I finished the main quest for Wuthering Waves because DEEEEAR LORD I would've been PISSED if it happened while I was still thirsting after Brant cuz then I would've been forced to stop playing and fix this mess 👹👹👹

So yes, Arsenic Blues is probably going to be deleted from Wattpad sometime in the future but don't despair! I crosspost this fic on ao3 and Quotev and the links to it are on my bio (and if my entire account gets nuked, then there's still my Tumblr where the links can be found). I use the same username for everything: Quotev, Wattpad, ao3, and Tumblr so just search "11QueenSupreme11" if, for some reason, the links don't work.

It's saddening ofc, but not that surprising given that Wattpad's been going downhill lately... This is what happens when a fanfic site becomes commercialized; books are locked behind a paywall, ads interrupt the reading, and books are removed cuz they had smut or lgbtq content. If there's a fanfic site that you love and it suddenly starts spawning a shit ton of ads, just know that censorship is coming next and your fave smutty or gay book might get deleted 💀 Wattpad's been annoying me for yeeeaaaars omg. My fav yandere fics were deleted, they started flagging me for gifs/pics since I started the Essie series (remember the time they flagged me for a gif about SHOES????), and they even started forcing me to delete some fanworks for this fic 😞

Honestly, ao3 is superior, hands down. I never have to worry about anything getting deleted because it's not commercialized and runs on donations. Quotev has been pretty decent so far too, they've never deleted or made me delete anything. The only thing that made me cling onto Wattpad was because they had this cool format that let me put gifs/pics directly onto a chapter, but now ao3 and Quotev do that.

After the announcement I made about Tsunami getting deleted, I was surprised cuz I got some people commenting and sending asks about how they don't know how to use ao3!!!

Ao3's tagging system is very easy to use and far better than Wattpad and Quotev, so let me teach you how (because really guys, the fics there are GODLY and it's every writer's haven too)

I'll use my own fic as an example:

EVERY TAG YOU SEE THERE (aside from the silly ones at the end) HAVE FICS SPECIFICALLY ABOUT IT. Want to read every Male Annabeth fic? Click on the "Male Annabeth Chase (Percy Jackson)". Wanna read Beelzebub/Percy fics? Click on the tag. Want to read any fic that has size differences? Click on the tag. Etc etc.

I'll start off simple. You like Percy Jackson fics and want to read more? Just go up to the "fandoms" section and click on the "Percy Jackson and the Olympians - Rick Riordan" tag and bam, you get to see every fic tagged under that fandom.

You want to look for Record of Ragnarok and PJO crossover fics? Click on one of the tags, and then go to the side where the filter is:

Under "other tags to include" just type up "Percy Jackson" and then the fandom option will appear. Click on it and the only thing you'll see are fics tagged under both fandoms.

Orrrr maybe you wanna look for fem!Percy fics? Luckily for you, my fic is already tagged as that! You can either do "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" fandom tag then put "Female Percy Jackson" under other tags to include OR you can just go back to my fic and click on "Female Percy Jackson" which is a lot quicker.

Wanna look for more Percy Jackson/Poseidon (Record of Ragnarok) fics? The tag's already right up there in the relationship section of my fic. Just click on it and bam.

Or maybe you want to read a PJO/ROR crossover but without fem!Percy? Go back to the filtering system, scroll down to "Exclude" and type up "Female Percy Jackson" and those fics will be removed for you.

Or maybe you want to read a ROR fic but without any rape? Go to the ROR fandom tag and head to "Exclude". You don't even need to type anything, it's already there under "warnings"  

It's very easy, very organized, and very safe for readers and writers. Readers can exclude any fics they don't want to read and writers don't ever have to worry about their stuff getting deleted because ao3 is an archive that runs on donations.

I'm gonna spend the next few days trying to transfer the Essie series over to ao3 from Quotev. Unfortunately, I didn't start writing chapters on google docs until midway into the Essie series. So everything on Quotev right now is IT. If Quotev decides to delete all of my Essie series fics, it's GONE. Permanently. So in the small chance it ever happens, I'm gonna try and import the fics into ao3.

Arsenic Blues is safe in ao3, but I never bothered to put up any of the graphics that I made onto the website so I'm gonna try and put them there as well as the extra chapters I excluded. Smh, and literally just a few chapters ago I was like "ao3 will only have story, memes, and fanworks! I don't wanna put extra chapters cuz ao3 has an automatic chapter numbering system and someone on tumblr might go 'hey can you explain why this happened in ch 47??' and ao3 will have a diff ch 47 compared to Wattpad and Quotev" 🙃

Sorry guys! I don't know when the next update will be because I have a lot of stuff to import onto ao3!

I will still continue updating here on Wattpad, but just beware that this fic will be deleted eventually. I don't know when, but it's definitely gonna happen 🥹 I'm just posting this chapter so you guys know that I'm available in other sites!
