After Ritu convinced Raghav to call Anisha, she came over to their house, even though she was still annoyed with Ritu. But, deep down, Anisha couldnโ€™t ignore her friend when she was feeling down.

For the past ten minutes, Ritu had been apologizing, practically begging Anisha for forgiveness. โ€œPlease, yaar, forgive me,โ€ Ritu said with a playful pout. โ€œNext time, I promise Iโ€™ll watch where Iโ€™m going with big, wide-open eyes!โ€

Anisha remained silent, sitting beside her, hiding her smile as Ritu continued her over-the-top apologies.

Finally, Ritu wrapped her arms around Anisha from behind. โ€œSowwwyyyy!โ€ she pleaded, adding a dramatic tone for effect.

Anisha, who had already forgiven her, struggled to suppress her laughter, enjoying the chance to make Ritu work a little harder for it. โ€œOh, youโ€™re sorry?โ€ Anisha asked, trying to keep a straight face.

Ritu, sensing the playful resistance, grinned. โ€œIf youโ€™re not going to talk to me,โ€ she threatened, โ€œIโ€™ll just have to tickle you!โ€ Without warning, she started tickling Anisha, who burst out laughing.

โ€œOii! Stop!โ€ Anisha managed between laughs. โ€œIโ€™mโ€ฆ supposed to beโ€ฆ mad at you!โ€

โ€œYeah, I can see that!โ€ Ritu said, laughing along with her.

โ€œOkay, okay, I forgive you!โ€ Anisha gasped, still giggling as she finally managed to pull away. โ€œtu kabhi nahi sudhregi!โ€

Ritu flipped her hair with a grin. โ€œkabhi bhi nahi!โ€

The two friends burst into laughter, their bond stronger than any small fight.

The next day, Ritu and Anisha headed to the college cafeteria during a break. Ritu bought some snacks for them, but as she was walking back, she bumped into a guy, causing all the food to spill on the floor. They both ended up on the ground.

โ€œOh no, everything fell!โ€ Ritu said, clearly upset.

The boy quickly stood up and extended his hand. โ€œIโ€™m so sorry, I didnโ€™t see you there.โ€

Ritu looked up and shrugged. โ€œItโ€™s okay, no need to apologize.โ€

โ€œNah, let me make it up to you,โ€ he insisted. โ€œIโ€™ll buy everything again.โ€

She shook her head, โ€œNo, itโ€™s really not necessary.โ€

But he smiled and said, โ€œCome on, itโ€™s on me.โ€ He bought new snacks, and as he handed them over, he asked, โ€œBy the way, whatโ€™s your name? I havenโ€™t seen you around.โ€

Ritu replied, โ€œIโ€™m Ritu, second year, XYZ department. What about you?โ€

โ€œIโ€™m Ishaan Singh,โ€ he said, offering his hand. โ€œNice to meet you, sweetheart.โ€ Ishaan was known around campus as a flirt and party-goer, the classic college playboy. But Ritu couldnโ€™t help but be charmed.

Anisha showed up, frowning when she saw him. โ€œWhat took you so long?โ€

Ritu explained what had happened, and Anisha gave Ishaan a brief smile. โ€œThanks for helping her,โ€ she said politely, but she wasnโ€™t impressed.

Afterward, as they walked away, Ritu sighed, โ€œHeโ€™s so handsome, isnโ€™t he?โ€

Anisha rolled her eyes. โ€œHandsome, my foot! Heโ€™s a total flirt. I donโ€™t trust guys like that.โ€

โ€œOh, come on, almost all guys flirt these days,โ€

Ritu teased. โ€œAt least he offered to replace the food.โ€

Anisha just shook her head. โ€œWhatever but, donโ€™t get too close with him.โ€

'Yaar I was thinking of doing friendship with him' she whines.

"Ritu, seriously? You think this guy is just going to be your friend? Heโ€™s the playboy of the college!" Anisha ask in disbelief.

"Come on, Anisha! You have to admit heโ€™s charming. Plus, itโ€™s not like Iโ€™m going to make him my husband. Just a normal friendship... who knows, it might be useful someday" Ritu says ..

"Useful? Trust me, no good will come from him. If you want to make friends, find someone elseโ€”anyone else but him." Anisha says.

Ritu about to say something but before that Anisha cut off her words.

'Iโ€™m telling you, donโ€™t do it. And if you go through with it, Iโ€™ll tell Raghav bhaiyaa everything'.

Ritu huffed, crossing her arms.

"Yaar, fine! I wonโ€™t do it. But seriously, can you stop blackmailing me all the time? Are you my friend or my enemy?"

Anisha leaned in, her tone softening.

"Iโ€™m your friend, Ritu. But when it comes to your safety, Iโ€™m willing to be your enemy if it means protecting you."

Ritu rolled her eyes but smiled.

Rituโ€™s classes were over for the day, and she was now waiting outside for Anisha so they could leave together. As she stood near the entrance, Ishaan suddenly appeared in front of her class.

"Heyyy, Ritu!" Ishaan called out, his voice drawing her attention.

Ritu looked in his direction and smiled, feeling a wave of happiness wash over her at the sight of him. "You? Here?"

Ishaan smiled back, "Yeah, my class just ended, so I thought Iโ€™d drop by and see you before heading home."

"Thatโ€™s great! Our class just finished too. We were about to head home ourselves," Ritu replied, excitement in her voice.

"Well then, how about we go together? My best friend didnโ€™t show up today, so Iโ€™m heading back alone," Ishaan suggested casually.

Just then, Anisha arrived, her expression instantly shifting into one of irritation when she saw Ishaan. "What are you doing here?" she asked, clearly displeased.

Ishaan, not missing a beat, gave her a flirty smile. "Heyyy," he greeted, his tone playful.

Ritu quickly jumped in, "Hey Anisha, we were just about to leave, so I thought maybe the three of us could go together."

Anisha leaned in closer to Ritu and whispered urgently, "Are you out of your mind? Absolutely not."

Ritu waved her off. "Oh, come on, stop it. Weโ€™ll all go together. Itโ€™ll be fine." Turning back to Ishaan, she said, "Yeah, why not? Letโ€™s all go together."

Ishaan grinned, clearly pleased. "Alright then, letโ€™s go."

He led them to the parking area, where his bike was parked. "Hop on, both of you," he said, motioning towards the bike.

Ritu and Anisha stared at him in disbelief. "What?! You want us both to ride on your bike?" they exclaimed in unison.

Ishaan chuckled. "Yeah, whatโ€™s the big deal? Donโ€™t worry, Iโ€™m not a terrible driver."

Ritu, intrigued, raised her eyebrows. "Oh my God, you know how to ride a bike too? Youโ€™ve got quite a few talents, donโ€™t you?"

Anisha, however, was having none of it. "No way! Thereโ€™s no way weโ€™re getting on that thing. Three people on one bike? Iโ€™m not ready to die today, and Iโ€™m certainly not letting you die either, Ritu. Weโ€™ll walk home like we always do."

Ishaan rolled his eyes. "Come on, Anisha, donโ€™t be such a scaredy-cat. Everyone our age rides bikes."

Ritu was already excited at the prospect. "Yeah, Anisha, whatโ€™s there to be afraid of? This is totally normal. Iโ€™ve never ridden on a bike before, and Iโ€™m really excited to try it!"

Without hesitation, Ritu climbed onto the bike, forcing Anisha into a dilemma. Not wanting to leave her friend alone, she reluctantly got on as well, muttering under her breath.

Within ten minutes, Ishaan had dropped them off at their house, the ride surprisingly smooth and uneventful. As they said their goodbyes, Ishaan took the opportunity to ask for Rituโ€™s number, claiming it would be easier for them to stay in touch via WhatsApp. Ritu, still giddy from the bike ride, happily obliged, much to Anisha's dismay.

Pihu noticed Ritu coming home unusually early. "Youโ€™re back quite early today! Itโ€™s not even been half an hour since your class ended. Whereโ€™s Anisha?"

Ritu, trying to play it cool, replied, "She dropped me off and went straight home. I didnโ€™t really feel like staying at college today, so I came back early." She carefully avoided mentioning the bike ride, knowing her brother would give her a good scolding if he found out.

Later, Raghav entered the room and called out to Pihu. "Pihu, can you pack my luggage for two days? I have to go to Mumbai for a business meeting the day after tomorrow."

Pihuโ€™s heart sank a little at the mention of the business trip. It would be the first time Raghav was leaving her since they got married, and she had grown so attached to him. "Okay, Iโ€™ll pack it," she agreed, her voice laced with sadness.

Raghav, sensing the change in her tone, walked up to her and hugged her from behind. "Whatโ€™s wrong, Pihu. Itโ€™s only two days. Iโ€™ll be back before you know it," he said, trying to reassure her.

Pihu turned around and hugged him tightly. "Donโ€™t go na, Raghav. Iโ€™ll be all alone. Two days feels like forever to me. Iโ€™m going to miss you so much."

Raghav smiled softly and kissed her forehead. "Iโ€™ll miss you too, wifey. But you know how important this meeting is. Tell you whatโ€”whenever you miss me, just give me a video call. I promise Iโ€™ll pick up, and before you know it, Iโ€™ll be back."

Pihu nodded sadly, resting her head on his chest. "Hmmm... okay."
