At home, Reema and Rahul were both deeply worried. Reema was pacing the room anxiously, her mind racing with countless possibilities about what could be happening at the college.

"Rahul, I'm feeling extremely tense. Who knows whatโ€™s happening there? Should I just call and check?" she suggested nervously.

"Reema, calm down. Raghav and Pihu are there. Whatever it is, theyโ€™ll handle it. Donโ€™t call them right now; they might be busy," Rahul reassured her.

Reluctantly, Reema nodded, but her worry lingered. After all, a motherโ€™s heart is forever restless when it comes to her children.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, they heard the sound of the car engine. The moment Raghav and Pihu stepped inside, they explained everything that had transpired at the college. Hearing the details, both Rahul and Reema were equally angry and appalled at how someone could stoop so low.

โ€œDonโ€™t worry,โ€ Raghav said confidently. โ€œWeโ€™ve already called the police. Theyโ€™ve arrested him, and he canโ€™t harm anyone now.โ€

Reema, still visibly shaken, added, โ€œJust imagine if there hadnโ€™t been a CCTV camera in that room. How would we have proven anything? Thank God you managed to find evidence.โ€

โ€œMaa, even if there hadnโ€™t been CCTV footage, we wouldโ€™ve found another way,โ€ Pihu assured her firmly. โ€œThereโ€™s no way we wouldโ€™ve let him go so easily.โ€

Reema nodded, relieved yet reflective, as the family finally felt a wave of comfort knowing that justice had been served.

With everything settled, Raghav announced, โ€œSince things are fine now, I need to leave for the office. I have an important meeting at 12.โ€

Pihu offered, โ€œWait, let me pack your lunch.โ€

โ€œThereโ€™s no time for that, Pihu,โ€ Raghav replied. โ€œIโ€™ll grab something from the canteen. Donโ€™t worry.โ€

โ€œAlright, then take care at work,โ€ she said.

Raghav bid goodbye to everyone and left for his office.

At office,

Raghav is going through some files when suddenly someone barged inside without knocking the door..

Raghav is so engrossed in the file that he could not feel any presence...

HEY WHAT'S UP MAN!!???

Raghav startled by hearing the loud voice and looks up immediately...

Raghav sighed, exasperated. "Youโ€™ll never change, will you? Who gives heart attacks like this, Aman?"

Aman smirked, flipping his hair dramatically. "Mein karta hu na,ย  tera dost!"

Shaking his head, Raghav said, "You and your drama will never stop."

Aman grinned. "Thatโ€™s why I was so famous back in school!"

Raghav dismissed his antics. "Alright, forget all that. Tell me, what brings you here? Momโ€™s been asking you to visit with Anjali so many times, but you never seem to have the time."

"Arrey yaar," Aman explained, "when aunty called, Anjali had viral fever, so we couldnโ€™t come. But donโ€™t worry, weโ€™ll visit soon. You can tell aunty weโ€™ll definitely come to meet everyone in a few days."

"Fine, come. Mom and Dad will be happy," Raghav replied.

Suddenly, Amanโ€™s face lit up. "Oh, wait! I almost forgot to tell you something important while talking. Here, take this and read it."

Raghav looked at the card in his hand. "Whatโ€™s this? Looks like an invitation card."

"Just open it and read," Aman insisted. "Youโ€™ll know."

Raghav opened the card and read it aloud. "Reunion party?"

"Yes!" Aman exclaimed.

"Our batches are throwing a party tomorrow. Everyoneโ€™s invited with their girlfriends or wives. Anjali and I are definitely going, so you better come with Pihu. Itโ€™ll be so much fun!"

Raghav glanced at the card again. "Itโ€™s a themed party? The color code is black."

"Yeah," Aman replied casually.

"So what? Donโ€™t you have anything black to wear?"

Raghav gave blank look before saying,

"No, no, I was just askingโ€ฆ" But his mind was already brewing a plan.

Aman looked at Raghav curiously. "Hey! What are you thinking? Youโ€™ll come tomorrow, right?"

Raghav snapped out of his thoughts. "Yes, yes, weโ€™ll definitely come tomorrow."

"Great!" Aman grinned. "Even Anjali couldnโ€™t attend your wedding, so sheโ€™ll get to meet Pihu now."

(For context: Amanโ€™s wife, Anjali, and Raghav all studied in the same school and section. Aman and Anjali had a love marriage two years ago.)

Raghav smiled. "Now that youโ€™re here, letโ€™s go to the nearby cafรฉ. Iโ€™m free right now."

Aman eagerly nodded. "Yes, letโ€™s go! Bhuk se mera peth jal raha hain."

In evening,

Pihu was sitting in her room, finishing some pending office work, as she was preparing to return to her job next week. She wore spectacles, looking adorably focused.

Raghav entered the room quietly and noticed her engrossed in her work. Placing his coat on the sofa, he asked softly, "What are you doing?"

Pihu looked up, startled. "Oh, youโ€™re back... I didnโ€™t even notice. I was finishing some pending office work since my leave ends next week."

Raghav tilted his head slightly. "You wear specs?"

Hurriedly, she removed them. "Well... yes, only while working."

Raghav smiled warmly. "You look very cute in specs."

Pihu blushed at Raghav's comment. "Youโ€™re impossible..." she said, picking his coat from the sofa.

"Go freshen up. Iโ€™ll bring coffee." As she turned to leave the room, Raghav suddenly grabbed her wrist and pulled her toward him.

She gasped, her hand instinctively clutching his shirt, her eyes squeezed shut. After a few moments, she slowly opened her eyes to find Raghav gazing deeply into hers.

"Raghav! Who pulls someone like this? What if I had fallen?"

Raghav smiled, his tone soft. "Even if you had, Iโ€™m here to catch you."

His hand, resting on her shoulder, moved down to her bare waist, caressing it gently.

Pihu shivered under his touch, feeling goosebumps erupt across her skin. The sensation was new, thrilling, and overwhelming all at once.

"Rag...hav... what are you doing? Someone might come... the door is open..." she stammered, her voice trembling.

Raghav smirked and, with one swift move, pushed her gently against the wall near the door. Using his foot, he closed it.

Leaning closer, he whispered near her ear, "Now no one will come... the door is locked."

Pihu shivered at his proximity, her breath hitching. Unable to speak, she kept her eyes tightly shut.

Raghav chuckled softly, his gaze tender,"Just breathe, wifey."

Realizing she had been holding her breath, Pihu exhaled unevenly. Her cheeks turned crimson, and she quickly lowered her gaze, unable to meet his eyes.

Raghav gently cupped her face, caressing her flushed cheeks.

"You know I love these red fluffy cheeks of yours," he murmured, his lips brushing near her ear.

"As they tell me how much I affect you."

Overwhelmed, Pihu hugged him tightly, burying her face in his chest.

Raghav laughed, wrapping his arms around her. "Mein hi toh hu baba.If youโ€™re this shy now, how will you handle whatโ€™s yet to come?"

Pihu blushed even harder, hiding her face further into his chest.

"Alright, alright, no more teasing," Raghav said, his tone serious yet affectionate.

"If you ever feel uncomfortable with anything, promise me youโ€™ll tell me. Iโ€™ll stop immediately. I never want you to feel uneasy because of me."

Pihu looked up at him briefly, then rested her head back on his chest, wrapping her arms around his torso.

"Raghav, Iโ€™ve never felt uncomfortable with you. On the contrary, I feel safe, protected, and... warm. A kind of warmth I canโ€™t put into words."

She paused, her voice softer. "But this is all new for me. Sometimes, I get shy and react this way."

Raghav nodded, his smile reassuring.

"I understand, Pihu. When you share your feelings with me, it makes me so happy. I feel proud. And as for your shyness, Iโ€™ll take care of it slowly," he said, placing a gentle kiss on her nose.

Raghav smiled at her words, a sense of pride and affection flooding his chest. Gently running his hand through her hair, he tilted her chin up so she could meet his eyes again. His gaze held nothing but understanding and love.

"Hmm," he murmured, his tone low and reassuring. "I understand, Pihu. And when you talk to me like this, sharing your thoughts and feelings, it makes me incredibly happy. It makes me feel proud... proud that you trust me enough to share your heart with me."

He leaned closer, his voice soft but playful. "And as for your shyness... well, Iโ€™ll take care of that too, slowly. Bit by bit, Iโ€™ll help you overcome it," he said with a teasing grin before planting a tender kiss on her nose.

Pihu blushed deeply at his gesture, her heart fluttering. She tightened her grip around him, hiding her face in his chest once more to escape his intense gaze. Raghav chuckled at her adorable reaction, his arms wrapping around her protectively.

"You donโ€™t need to rush or feel pressured," he continued, his tone now serious and full of care. "Weโ€™ll take this at your pace. I just want you to feel safe and happy with me, always. And if, at any moment, you feel uncomfortable or unsure about anything, just tell me. Iโ€™ll stop immediately, no questions asked."

Pihuโ€™s eyes welled up slightly at his words, overwhelmed by the love and respect he showed her. She looked up at him again, her gaze soft yet determined.

"I trust you, Raghav," she whispered.

"With you, I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ll ever feel uncomfortable. You make me feel... whole, like Iโ€™m exactly where Iโ€™m meant to be."

Raghav smiled, brushing a stray strand of hair from her face. But suddenly he remembers something.

"Ohho, in all this talk, I completely forgot to share something important!" Breaking the hug, he reaches into his bag and takes out an invitation card, handing it to Pihu.

"Remember Aman, my best friend? I introduced you to him briefly on our wedding day, didnโ€™t I?"

Pihu looks at the card, nodding with a soft smile. "Yes, Raghav, I remember. Aman Gupta, right?"

Raghavโ€™s face lights up. "Exactly! He stopped by my office today and gave me this. Itโ€™s an invitation to a reunion party tomorrow. All my childhood friends are coming with their partners, and weโ€™ve been invited too. I already told him weโ€™d be there. Soโ€ฆ youโ€™ll come with me, right?"

Pihuโ€™s eyes sparkle with excitement as she responds, "Of course! Why would you even ask? Iโ€™d love to meet your friends."

Raghavโ€™s chest swells with happiness. "Great, then itโ€™s settled. Be ready tomorrow evening; weโ€™ll leave at 7 p.m. Oh, and the dress code is black, so wear something in black, alright?"

Pihu grins, "Okay, done! But for now, you should go wash up and come downstairs. Iโ€™ll make coffee, and weโ€™ll all sit and eat together."

Raghav chuckles, his eyes warm with affection. "Alright, you go ahead. Iโ€™ll join you after freshening up."

He heads to the washroom, leaving Pihu smiling to herself as she walks out of the room.
