                               We come into the world...

Time set: many days after Attack Of The Clones
.

.
(Y/N) POV.

I sat in one of the hallways of the Jedi Temple as I watched the younglings train with each other. Just like me and Anakin did yesterday. The small force sensitives dueled in pairs with small lightsabers which made me remember the times when I was in their position.

Anakin had something to take care of with Obi-Wan for the day and Padmé wasn't free so I decided to come here instead. Master Yoda gave me the idea to watch the younglings which made me curious as to why he suggested that. It never occured to me, that he would let me just sit around.

I looked around the training room and saw the same ginger boy from yesterday sitting in a corner. He didn't have a partner to duel with. I got up from the ground and walked inside which made some of them turn their heads in my direction.

I motioned them to continue and they did as told. I made my way to the boy and crouched down beside him, he turned to me immediately in shock.

"Do you not have a partner?" I asked him.

"No. I never really had one, they always pair up before I can ask someone." The ginger replied with a sigh.

He fiddled with his lightsaber in his hands. I sighed and sat down beside him taking my own in my hands, also examining it. "I understand that feeling. It happened to me a lot when I was your age, or even younger."

I recalled the memories of me sitting all alone in the training rooms as the others dueled with each other. I always thought that I did aomething wrong but I learned that they were just assholes.

"What's your name?" I questioned as I studied his freckled face.

"Cal, Cal Kestis." He replied but it came out more like a question.

I got up from the ground and held my hand out to him. "Well, Cal, I can be your partner."

"Really?" Cal asked with a wide smile as he took my hand and stood up.

I nodded my head and led him to a free spot in the training room. The other younglings gave him envious stares but I gave them a glare and they all turned back to their partners. Cal was grinning all the way, even as we both got into a dueling stance.

"I can't believe I'm dueling with (Y/N) Kothari!" He exclaimed as he ignited his lightsaber.

"How do you know my name?" I asked raising an eyebrow once our lightsabers clashed.

I tried to go easy on him since our height difference made it harder for him to reach me. I kept slowly attacking him and Cal blocked each of them. It was only training after all.

"We all know who you are! You're one of the best padawan's, Anakin Skywalker too! Our teachers always bring you two up whenever we are learning something." Cal explained as he took a glance at the others who were staring at us.

"What? They bring us up? Now that's something I never thought I'd hear..." I chuckled. "The two most reckless padawans being mentioned to younglings. I wonder what chaos that will cause."

Cal laughed and once he got the lightsaber out of my hands he cheered. Of course I wasn't going to admit it but I let him do as such. I wanted to give him some sort of happiness for the day that he could beat me in a duel. I actually grew pretty fond of the little guy.

"I won! Did you see that?" Cal laughed as he jumped in the air excitedly.

I laughed along with him and turned my head only to see Master Yoda and Master Windu watching our exchange with a smile as they seemed to discuss something. I tilted my head in confusion.

Cal handed back my lightsaber as he rushed after the others after saying goodbye. I smiled as he left and walked out to meet Master Yoda by the window. He stared out into the scenery of Coruscant and motioned me to join him, which I did a bit hesitantly.

Yoda hummed as he watched the ships fly. "Took a liking to you, Cal has."

"He's a really sweet kid, he reminded me of myself as he sat there alone. I'm not in any trouble for going into their training, right?"

"No, in trouble you are not, young padawan." Master Yoda spoke as he gave a small smile. "Dicuss something with you, I'd like. Come."

He started walking through the corridors and I followed him with small steps so I wouldn't go any faster than him. It was a little hard since I was used to going in a fast space when walking. Anakin always rushed everywhere and it seems like I got used to it.

"Become a great jedi you have, we think." Yoda said as I recognised the way we were going. "Honour it was to train you."

My eyes widened and I gave a quick nod. "Thank you, Master. It's an honour to have you teach me."

"However leave our roles as master and padawan, we must." He continued. "Become one, we shall."

"Master?" I asked in confusion.

Why was he using words as if it was all in the past? I had a thought in my mind but it couldn't be that. It just couldn't be true. But why was he being so mysterious for?

We arrived at the door of the room where the council usually sat in. Yoda turned to me once again and motioned for me to calm down. He could obviously feel my mixed feelings of fear, confusion, excitment. He opened the door with the force and it was completely dark inside which made me gulp. Now I knew exactly what was happening, and I couldn't help but smile.

Suddenly all colours of lightsabers ignited around me as I saw all of the jedi masters, even Obi-Wan standing in a circle. He gave me a smile as I met eyes with him for a second but I quickly turned my attention towards Master Yoda.

"Step forward, padawan." He instructed.

I immediately got on one knee before him. I can't believe this is happening.

"(Y/N) Kothari," Yoda continued. "By the right of the council."

He said as he raised his green lightsaber to my right shoulder. He then moved it to my left. "By the will of the force."

I stared up at him in shock and my jaw was probably on the floor. However I was too overwhelmed by my emotions to care.

"Dub thee I do, Jedi," He slashed the padawan braid off my head. "Knight of the republic."

I stood up from the ground and I was grinning like an idiot. I didn't know what to do or say but as the windows let in the outside light in Windu stepped forward.

"You don't need to say anything, (Y/N). We came to the discussion that it was time for you to become a proper member of the order." Mace Windu said as he handed me my braid.

"However, we will continue to study your actions, after what happened on Geonosis we must." Plo Koon told me.

I nodded in understanding and after they all congratulated me I was let out of the room. When I got far away from the council I squeeled like a child and stared at the braid in my hands. I can't believe it just happened. I became a knight.

I immediately took off to the apartment we shared with Anakin. He was the first person I wanted to tell this story to, if Obi-Wan was here then he was too. After I got the the stairs I sprinted up, even missing a few, and opened the door with the force. I ran to the bedroom, where he was sitting on the bed in his robes. When he felt me enter the roon he sprung up his seat with a wide smile on his face. He ran to me and immediately pressed a long kiss on my lips.

"I can't believe you actually got knighted!" Anakin exclaimed as he hugged me and spun me around in the air.

"I can't believe it either..." I smiled as I glanced down at the braid in my hands.

"I'm so proud of you, (N/N). Obi-Wan told me this morning so I had to keep my mouth shut. He insited to take me away from you so I wouldn't tell you." Anakin rolled his eyes with a scowl.

I laughed at his childish behaviour but I couldn't help but notice him tapping his leg. Was he nervous? Did something happen? He noticed me staring and quickly stopped doing so but that didn't make me curious.

"Anakin, what's wrong?" I asked looking up at him.

"Uh, nothing!" He replied a little too quickly.

"You're acting weird. Is everything okay? Did something happen?" I continued interrogating him.

He was avoiding my gaze which didn't seem like him. Anakin was the one to stare into someone's eyes like a maniac, he wouldn't even blink sometimes. It gave me the creeps. Especially when it was the middle of the night and he would do that when I turned to face him. I swear he just loved to make me scream in fear.

"I'm telling you it's nothing!" Anakin cleared his throat as I saw him fidget with something in his pocket.

I narrowed my eyes at him but didn't want to push it more. "Okay, tell me when you want. But you won't be getting cuddles tonight then!"

"You did not just say that!" I heard hin gasp as he rushed after me. "I need the cuddles, it's the only way I can sleep."

I turned around to face him with a smirk. "Well that sucks for you then."

"Oh, yeah, there'd be something you can s-" He scowled at me as he started mumbling nonsense.

"Anakin!" I gasped as I slapped his arm. "Don't think about such things."

He gave me a mischievous grin as he turned away from me. I thought for a moment before throwing the clothes I wanted to change into on one of the chairs beside me. Anakin continued to pout like a little kid as I watched him sit down on the bed, quickly putting something in the drawer beside him.

I let out a sigh as I sat down on the other side of the bed so I didn't see his face. "If you tell me why you're so nervous then we can do more than cuddles."

I could imagine him turning around with a shocked look on his face. "What? Really? Are you sure?"

"Mhm." I hummed in agreement giving him a side eye.

"I just thought...maybe we could go to the meadows on Naboo tomorrow. I want to show you something." Anakin quickly told me after my statement.

"Of course. I loved that place. "I smiled and nodded my head in agreement.

"Great!" He grinned which soon turned into a smirk. "Now...what exactly did you plan in your little head of yours?"

I laughed as I stood up from the bed. "First of all I'd like to eat something because my stomach has been growling for the past hour."

I heard hin protest as I walked away into the small kitchen. He stopped beside me to watch what I was doing but I couldn't help but notice his offended face.

I've said it a million times but he's still like a child.

I started eating some biscuits that I found and looked at Anakin innocently. He continued to stare at me with an over dramatised scowl which almost made me laugh. I continued to munch on the random food I found counter as if there was nobody infront of me. He sighed in frustration and sat on a chair that was beside him.

I put the box down which made Anakin stand up as fast as he could, even though he just sat down. Whatever, I somtimes can't understand what's going through his head.

"Are you done now?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"No, I need to go to the bathroom." I told him with a finger in the air.

Anakin wiggled his eyebrows and I quickly slapped his arm. He groaned as if I was torturing him, well his heart atleast.

"You're not going to watch me pee, thank you very much." I stated with a serious face. "What's gotten into you? You've been so clingy today."

"Is it bad that I want to spend time with the love of my life?" Anakin shouted as he watched me dissapear behind the door.

I sighed in disbelief once I got myself some privacy. This man was something else but I loved him very dearly. I still don't know what he's planning but it's getting me nervous. He's been weird ever since I got back from the Temple.

I looked in the mirror and just now saw how drenched my shirt was from sweat. It must have been from when I was helping Cal train, and when I was knighted. I let out a groan as I slipped out of the shirt. Hesitantly I opened the door and peeked around only to see that Anakin has dissapeared.

"I'm coming out!" I announced because I could still feel his presence near. "I'm only in a bra so if I see you looking at me, then you have a death wish!"

I got no response so I quickly rushed out to the closet where I kept my spare shirts. I was about to put a new one on when I felt two arms snake around my waist and pick me up.

"Anakin!" I yelled and heard him chuckle in response.

I opened my eyes only the see him standing infront of me while I was sat on the bed. I narrowed my eyes at him and I could feel my face hetting redder by the second.

"What in the force are you doing?" I asked as I glared at him.

Anakin pushed some hair out of his face with an arrogant smile. Even though it hasn't been long since we got back from Geonosis but his hair already started to grow. There were more curls than before.

"Nothing." He replied and sat down beside me.

"It's obviously not nothing, Anakin." I said. "I told you to not look at me but, oop- here you are, in my personal space!"

He grinned and tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. I rolled my eyes at him but slowly gave in to his affection. Our lips slowely met and soon grew even more passionate. I knew what we were doing is wrong but I just couldn't bring myself to stop anymore.

I layed down and he quickly followed me not breaking away for even a second. He broke away for a moment and looked down at me. I gave him a look that said 'what the hell'.

"Are you sure?" Anakin asked with slight worry.

After a second I nodded my head. "Yes."

That's when our lips met again and headed off into a totally different direction than to what I planned. If anyone finds out I'm blaming it on him.

I layed on my side as the two of us watched the sun go down outside of our apartment window. I was snuggled into his chest while he had an arm wrapped around my waist.

I was so lucky to have him.

Anakin combed his fingers through my hair which made me smile. I decided to give him my padawan braid an hour ago and the way he was grinning when I handed it to him was forever in my memories. I just loved his smile. His real, genuine smile.

"I heard from Obi-Wan that there's a youngling who you dueled with today." Anakin mumbled.

"Yeah, Cal. He just sat there all alone and it made me feel bad for him. He reminded me of myself when I was his age." I replied with a sigh.

"He took quite the liking to you."

I chuckled as I shook my head. "He's a kind little guy. He even told me that they bring the two of us up when they are training them."

"Us? The two most reckless padawans? Well, padawan and jedi knight now." Anakin raised his eyebrow in confusion.

"My thoughts exactly." I laughed which he soon joined in.

"That's going to cause absoloute chaos if they continue to see us as people to admire." He continued while I nodded.

The two of us let a little silence fall between us as we watched the sun dissapear from the sky. The colours of red and orange soon turned into shades of blue and soon black. The only thing that I didn't exactly like about Coruscant was that it was always lit up so I couldn't see the stars.

I sighed as I snuggled myself into my pillow and pulled the blanket over me. I heard Anakin groan as he pulled it back. I turned around to glare at him but he gave me a serious face.

"Give me the blanket." I ordered as I put my hand out wiggling my fingers.

"No." Anakin furrowed his eyebrows.

"If you don't then I'm going to catch a cold." I pouted as I mockingly shivered as if I was freezing.

It didn't change anything at all. "If I do then I'm going to get sick!"

"Anakin! Give. Me. The. Blanket!" I told him with a stern tone to my voice.

"I. Said. No!" He replied.

I puffed out some air from my nose in frustration and he did the same, mocking me. He was teasing me again. Like always.

I stared at him for a second before pulling on the blanket so hard that I rolled off the bed. I groaned as Anakin's hysterical laughter filled the room.

"I hate you so much." I gave him a glare as I sat on the floor with the blanket wrapped around me.

Once he looked at me it made him laugh even more. "You look like an angry cat bundled up in a blanket!"

I stared at him in disbelief as I made the force float my pillow down to the floor. "Goodnight."

Anakin suddenly stopped laughing as he watched me being petty. "Wait, no I'm sorry! It was just so funny!"

I listened to his apologies as I layed down on the floor. It was my turn to laugh now as I watched him run outside and come back with a biscuit on a plate. He pushed it towards my bundled up form as I continued to stay grumpy.

"Will you accept my apology, grumpy?" He asked.

Within a second I pushed back the empty plate still not turning around to look at him. I heard Anakin sigh as he got another blanket and a pillow, setting them down beside me on the floor.

I closed my eyes still trying to sleep but I could feel his eyes on me. It was making me even more annoyed by the second.

"Are you still grumpy?" Anakin asked.

"Yes." I muttered as I pulled the blanket even more over my face.

"Will you accept my apology?" He continued.

"No."

He grumbled something under his breath. "Pretty please, my love? I'm sorry for not letting you take the blanket."

I turned to give him a side eye but didn't answer his question.

"(Y/N)!" Anakin shook my shoulders but soon gave up. "Fine then! I'll eat all of your biscuits right now!"

He went to get up from the ground and I immediately turned to him leaving the room. I crawled up from the floor with an angry look on my face while the blanket was still wrapped around my torso, like a burrito.

"These biscuits are really good, (N/N)!" I heard his voice say from the kitchen.

"Anakin, no!" I yelled as I almost fell over my own legs.

"Uh-oh, I think a gremlin is making their way towards me." He muttered under his breath which made me gasp.

"Watch who you're calling gremlin, sandman!" Now it was his turn to gasp.

"Grumpy face."

"Padawan."

I laughed at his offended face and it was his his turn to chase me around the apartment. "That was low, (Y/N)!"

"I'm sorry!" I yelled back to him after I abandoned my blanket.

"I don't accept the apology!" He grumbled as I stood face to face with him.

I gave him a frown and opened my arms. "Apology cuddles?"

"No."

"Why not? I thought you liked cuddles." I asked confused to his behaviour.

"I realised that I like something different now." Anakin grinned and wiggled his eyebrows at me.

I gave him a shocked look as he laughed and rushed away from me. I can't believe this guy. I swear to the force I just can't.

"Anakin!"
