ARIZONA BAILEY, was your typical thirtheen year old. her grades were slightly above average, she had a loving and caring family home, she always did her chores before going to play video games and hang out with her friends. the only unnatural thing about Arizona Bailey was her ravishing purple hair, it only took about three days for her mother to get the bright purple color that Arizona had fallen in love with, that was until the year of 84'. Indiana was a small state which made Hawkins an even smaller town, the biggest thing to happen to the town was when her childhood friend, Will Byers, had went missing the year prior, So you can imagine Arizona's shock and slight fear when she comes to find a black slimy animal——no creature—— coming from out of her shower drain. but the cherry on top of all of this had to be the red headed, blue eyed beauty that transferred from California and that seemed to make everything a little bit more bearable for Arizona.

RAYMOND GRAY, was a loner. he always had been and honestly preferred being left alone because people were scared he would loose his shit rather than have everyone suffocating him with fake pity. Raymond's life wasn't an easy one for a regular 13 year old. his parents passed away in a tragic car accident when Raymond was nine years old, he was diagnosed with Intermittent Explosive Disorder not long after moving in with his aunt and uncle and they're daughter, Victoria. Raymond and Victoria were close, 'two peas in a pod' is what his aunt would call them whenever they stuck up for each other, so you can imagine his pain and anger when they had to have a closed casket funeral for the young girl because they never found her. you can imagine the anger he felt when Will Byers came up to him and handed him Victoria's ring, the ring that Raymond had gifted her for her 14th birthday, five days before she went missing. However, Raymond didn't find it in himself to let out his emotions on the shorter boy who had had a rough year as well, he found himself having a unknown urge to protect Will, and with the news of slimy creatures, a mind flayer—whatever that was— and another dimension, that urge was slowly but surely growing into something stronger.
