ARYAN, nova, aaliyah, and malia were walking through the neighbourhood dog park.

malia slowly opened the gate and aaliyahs dog, chi chi immediately ran to the the middle of the park.

"jeez. how long have you been keeping chi chi in there?" asked nova walking over to a nearby bench.

aaliyah rolled her eyes playfully. "i take her out every day nova. she acts like this every time i take her on a walk."

"right..." replied nova sitting down.

"guys i am so hungry right now." said aryan for the hundredth time that day.

"dude you've been saying that since we left the door." sighed malia.

"and you ate before we left the door." said nova.

aryan glared at both of them. "okay, but i bet when you guys see food within a mile you'll eat it up in a second."

"hey!" said nova lightly kicking him in the shin. "did you just call me fat?"

aryans eyes widened. "what? no! of course not you're gorgeous-"

nova giggled. "i'm kidding aryan. thank you though."

"bro started tweaking out." said aaliyah giggling.

aryan playfully shoved her. "shut up."

in the middle of the giggling, aryan got his shoulder tapped.

they all looked up to see a brunette with a phone in her hand and a smile on her face.

"oh my gosh i can't believe i'm meeting you guys! ya'll are so cool. can i have a picture?" asked the brunette.

"yeah sure!" answered aryan standing up from the bench.

when nova stood up the brunette shoved the phone into her hands.

"could you take the picture for us?" she said with slight disgust.

"oh." nova paused. "sure why not." she positioned the phone and stood in front of them.

"wait why isn't nova in the picture?" questioned aryan.

"yeah." agreed aaliyah. "you could just take a selfie, couldn't you?"

"i mean yeah but i don't really know nova like that. or like her like that." said the dark haired "fan."

"embrassing." muttered malia.

"i just feel like." she paused. "i don't think nova and aryan should be together. i think mckenna and aryan would've been better."

aryan moved away from the brunette slightly nauseated. "yeah i don't think we should take the picture anymore. we have a busy day today."

"yeah." agreed malia slightly laughing. "we have a lot to do today."

"and we also don't like you. or your opinions. so. bye!" aaliyah said waving the fan away.

the brunettes smile immediately faded. "oh. okay." she walked away glaring at nova, muttering something that nova could've sworn sounded like 'suck up bitch'.

"yikes." said aryan. "i forget short sighted people exist."

nova nodded, unusually quiet. "yeah i know. at least she's gone."

aaliyah bursted out laughing, almost in tears, "that was actually so funny." she blurted out, basically dying from laughter.

"it's the fact she mentioned mckenna of all people." added malia, giggling along with aaliyah.

aryan moved over to nova and put his arm around her. "are you okay?" he asked.

she looked up, a small smile forming on her face. "yeah i'm okay. she didn't really say anything to hurt my feelings it was the fear of missing out in the picture."

(piping in here to say i hate fomo so bad like kms. i have social anxiety but fomo will in fact make me leave my comfort😞)

"yeah i get that. thank god she's gone!" he held her hand.

nova smiled at aryan, then looked up to see that malia and aaliyah weren't infront of them like they were a minute ago.

"where the fuck did they go?" asked nova searching the park.

aryan started searching too before finding them almost immediately. aryan pointed behind him.

"i found them." he said. nova turned. "of course they're at the ice cream truck." she said with a sigh.

"hey aryan at least you get something to eat now." nova said reminding him of his complaints.

"hell yeah. okay, race you there!" he let go of her hand and started running to the the truck.

"hey!" nova said running after him and winning the short race. (cuz she's nova obv)
