THIRTY minutes later, nova was in her room, brushing her hair to make sure she looked good and picking out bikinis.

her sister elena came into the room, wearing a blue bikini and a big fitted shirt on top. "do you want help with anything?" she asked.

yeah could you help me pick out a bathing suit?" nova asked. "yeahof course" replied elena sitting down on novas bed.

"okay so i have a blue patterned one, a pink one, and a white one. i wanna i look good but i also wanna make sure that my butt isn't showing." she giggled.

"i'm not sure how good aryan would handle that. he's respectful, but let's make sure. just for safety."

"okay then." nova agreed. she looked at her three choices while elena looked into her closet for more options.

"ooo. how about this one?" suggested elena, picking out a black bikini. "it would look great on you and you wouldn't need to worry about coverage."

nova walked over to see closer. "oh yeah i forgot about this one. i got it last year. this is great, thanks." she smiled.

elena nodded. "of course." she said stepping out of the room so nova could change.

she put a little lipgloss on even though it didn't matter and put her favourite hoodie on. she walked downstairs to see her sister looking in the pantry for snacks they could use.

she was helping her out when they heard screaming from their front door.

"WE'RE HEREEEE!" screamed vienna and aaliyah from the doorway.

"we're in here!" replied nova from the kitchen.

the two followed the sound into the kitchen where the two sisters where found putting multiple snacks into a tray.

nova took a strawberry from the tray before picking it up and walking over to the pool and setting the tray down on a nearby table.

aaliyah and vienna put their things on the couch before going into the back of the house and laying down on the chairs.

after 20 more minutes, the door burst open again, and charlie, leah and walker, bundled in through the doorway into the back of the house where the pool was.

"you guys need to stop bursting our door open." shouted elena from the back of the house.

"if you break it you'll be paying for it." she said pointing to the four before being picked up and thrown in the pool by walker.

nova laughed hugging leah and waving to charlie and walker who was currently being screamed at his girlfriend.

"i brought my speaker so we can play music!" said leah holding up her speaker.

nova clapped her hands. "ooo okay! my phone is in the kitchen connect it to my spotify playlist."

leah walked over to the kitchen while the door bell rung.

nova quickly when back into the house and opened the door to reveal mckenna and aryan waving at her.

"hi!" said nova, letting them in. she hugged mckenna and moved on to aryan who picked her up and put him over his shoulders.

"aryan put me down!" screamed nova. he put her down. "take that hoodie off." he said.

"woah there simhadri. getting freaky there." he rolled his eyes. no i mean i want you to swim with me come on!"

he took her hand and led her to the back of the house where everyone was.

"CANNONBALL!" said vienna, jumping into the pool splashing everyone. aaliyah who was sunbathing, got completely soaked.

"VIENNA MAINE I AM SO GOING TO KILL YOU." vienna screamed as aaliyah immediately jumped in and started splashing vie, making her cough.

nova giggled seeing them and took another strawberry eating it as she took off her hoodie, and sat down, her feet dangling in the pool.

leah finally picked out a song and played it, the song echoing throughout the house. she walked over to the pool and hopped in and started swimming.

aryan walked over to nova who was talking to mckenna who was standing in the pool. he sat down next to nova and she smiled at him, happy of his presence.

he kissed her on the cheek before standing up and jumping in. unfortunately for him, he splashed nova.

"HEY!" said nova splashing him for revenge, accidentally splashing mckenna.

mckenna splashed back and pulled novas leg, making nova fall face first into the water.

when nova came up from the water spluttering she gave mckenna a glare. "YOU BETTER RUN." she said swimming over to mckenna with a fake menacing look in her eyes.

mckenna squealed, grabbing a pool noodle to defend herself. nova was about to do the same when charlie pointed at them.

"HEY! NO KIDS PLAYING WITH THE POOL NOODLES." he shouted jokingly.

everyone else laughed while mckenna and nova ignored him and started fighting eachother with the pool noodles.

everyone was laughing and enjoying the last day of warmth before winter came.
