NOVA was on her phone, scrolling on tiktok when she heard the door knock.

she quickly rushed downstairs and opened the door, behind the door was her "friend" aryan.

nova looked shocked, struggling to come up with words. "um... hey aryan."

he tried to smile. "hey nova. can i talk to you?" she opened the door wider so he could come in. "yea of course."

nova went to sit down on her couch and aryan followed. "can i explain what happened that day?" he asked. nova looked down. "sure i guess."
"okay first of all. i didn't want to kiss isla. i swear! she came up to me and start talking to me and she kissed me."

nova looked up. "really?" he nodded. "yeah. i would never kiss her with a clear mind, or a foggy one at that." he chuckled.

"wow. i'm sorry i wouldn't talk to you after it." nova apologised. i was trying to ignore the whole situation."

he smiled. "that's okay. you had your reasons. and there's also something else i wanted to say."he held novas hands surprising her.

"i was going to confess to you that day." aryan said looking at her face for her reaction. she looked somewhat confused.

"you were going to confess?" she asked. he nodded.

aryan took a deep breath. "nova, i like you. a lot. obviously. i'm sorry i never said anything about it before but i was nervous that it would ruin our friendship." he sighed then continued.

"you make me laugh, and i love talking to you. i know we've been friends but i'd love to be more. would you let me be your boyfriend?"

aryan searched her face. nova smiled, a genuine smile and lightly blushed. "i like you too aryan. and of course."

aryan returned her smile. "good." then he kissed her. she kissed back. it was extraordinaire!!!

they stopped. aryan looked down. "i'm sorry i put you through all of this." said aryan. "i never meant to hurt you."

she shrugged. "i forgive you. also i was going to confess to you that day as well. see,s we had the same thought.

"seems we did." he said, also shrugging. she kissed him this time and he kissed back savouring the moment.
