NOVA and her friends (vienna, aaliyah and elena) were going over to her sister, elenas boyfriends house.

"i still don't understand why we have to tag along with you to walkers house" complained nova packing her bag.

"i mean it's not like he's our boyfriend. we dont have to hang out with him."

"i already told you nova he's not gonna be the only one there. the percy jackson cast will be there. so stop complaining." replied elena.

"i'm honestly okay with it." said aaliyah. "we need to go out more anyway." she shrugged.

"thats because you get have friends there. like leah and... i don't know who else. but either way, you have someone there to look forward to." replied vienna.

"and yet i'm not having a sour face like nova!" said aaliyah jokingly teasing nova. nova rolled her eyes. "whatever aaliyah. let's go."

after arriving at walkers house, nova took the time to look around the house. after a short while,she found a silent room with a couch in the middle. she sat down on the couch and just relaxed by herself, scrolling on her phone.

unfortunately for her, that relaxing time was immediately interrupted.

"what are you doing?" a familiar voice asked.

nova looked up from her phone and her eyes slightly widened. it was her old enemy from childhood. "wait, aryan?" she asked.

"what are you-" she started to say but stopped as she realised why he was here. "oh. right. i forgot you were in the percy jackson cast."

"really?" aryan said, "i thought you would've at least watched the show... you know, because of leah but i guess you don't have the common decency for that." replied aryan sitting down next to her.

she rolled her eyes. years later and he's still annoying. "yea whatever aryan. why are you even talking to me anyways. i thought you hated me?"

aryan raised an eyebrow. "i don't hate you."

nova also raised her eyebrow. "you don't? well you at least used to. when we were younger. for no apparent reason."

"i had my reasons!" he answered defensively.

"right..." she rolled her eyes. "what do you want anyway?"she asked.

"well seeing you here reminded me that i wanted to make amends." he replied. "or at least not to be "enemies" anymore." he did an air quote on enemies.

nova looked at him skeptically. "is there a reason why?"

he shrugged. "just think it's time to get our of old habits. and no time like the present!"

"whatever you say aryan." she agrees.

aaliyah and elena burst into the room. at first they look confused, then both exchange knowing glances at each other. "what are you two doing?" asked aaliyah.

"just talking." answered nova dismissively. "whats up?"

"we just came in here to tell you the pizzas here." replied elena.

"oh. right." nova stood up and walked out, aryan following her.
