Chapter 2
"Where're we attacking again?" you sat with another younger girl, letting black fire dance on your fingertips while the other flipped a knife into the air before catching it. "I hope it's not in the middle of the city."
The red eyed male who sat in the center of the circle inclined his head, a hand scratching at his neck before answering.
Tomura Shigaraki.
Quirk: Decay.
"That's too bad, we are attacking the middle of the city." he spoke, eyes glinting in the dim light. "Are you going against my orders?"
You chuckled, before stretching your arms and wings out and almost hitting a Dabi in the face.
[y/n] [l/n].
Quirk: ???
"I am not, o' great one," you teased, and watched as his hand clenched in anger. The misty purple blob of a mist gate you all called Kurogiri calmed him down immediately, stating that being calm was essential. "How could I ever commit such a dreadful act?"
"Oooh, look here!" cheered the blonde girl from beside you, grinning widely. Her fangs were on display, and you personally found it absolutely adorable. "[n/n] is gonna bite now!"
You shot a quick glare at the knife wielding villain, gritting your teeth, before shifting into into a more comfortable position on the counter stool.
"How many times have I told you to call me [v/n], Toga?!"
Himiko Toga.
Quirk: Tranform.
Toga made an 'o' shape with her mouth, before placing a finger on her lips to indicate silence. Then, she made a zipping motion to tell you that she wouldn't make the same mistake again.
"Sure thing, [v/n]~"
That would the best you'd get.
For now.
Sighing, Shigaraki laid out a large parchment of paper on the cracked wooden desk before leaning over. Shadows fell across his face, leaving only his bright ruby eyes shining intensely. All light seemed to dim, and shadows crept across the floor to huddle in the corners, making the atmosphere cold and sinister.
"You all listen well, because I'm only going to say this once."

It was all complete and utter chaos.
Black and black fire were intertwined, raging and burning and tearing through buildings. The leftover rubble was blasted into civilians, hitting some in the back and others on the head. The screams of people filled the night, either from being burned alive, disintegrated, or from being stabbed by a blonde.
Several copies of the same two people raced through the streets, one clad in a long black coat and the other in a hood that covered your face. Black, sharp wings unfurled from your back, letting you leap into the air and last your fire further, destroying everything that came in contact with it.
Chaos, this time, came in the form of black and blue and red.
Where was All Might?
Where were the heroes, when the people needed them most?
They weren't here..
Not yet.
"Hawks here!" a loud voice interrupted the author's depressing monologue, and red feathers tore their way through many clones. The amount of fire immediately diminished, and villains stood together on a roof, staring down at the heroes that came,
Enji Todoroki: Endeavor.
Quirk: Hellflame.
Keigo Takami: Hawks.
Quirk: Fierce Wings.
"We're heading back for now," Shigaraki muttered, lazily waving a hand as he placed a foot into the purple portal. "There's no point wasting all our members on two heroes."
You and Dabi nodded, turning back to the two pro heroes just as Shigaraki and his minions disappeared, along with Kurogiri.
Letting your wings fold against your back, you motion for Dabi to start speaking. He nodded towards you, a smirk blooming on his face as he turned to the heroes.
"Endeavor and Hawks, huh...?" Dabi spoke, and you almost facepalmed at his typical villain monologue, just shorter than usual. "Why, you think just you two can stop us?"
"Well, then, Endeavor, why don't we fight fire with fire?"
Blue blasted at the hero, and a wall of orange swept up.
That left you, and Hawks.
"C'mon, don't you think it's only fair I get to see how you look like?" he asked, lifting himself into the air before taking ahold of two particularly long feathers which you had no doubt would cut deeply. "After all, you can see me."
Tilting your head in response, you let yourself drop from the rooftop, before unfurling your darker wings and like a parachute, your fall was suddenly stopped and you turned to face the hero as you hovered in front of him.
You flapped your wings a few times as if to say 'look, I've got wings, too. No biggie.'
His eyes widened for a fraction of a second before he came to his senses, only to face a barrage of black fireballs hurdling at his face.
"Woah, that was a close one!" said Hawks as he soared out of the way. Your fire slammed into a building behind him, shattering the glass. He flipped over before unleashing a horde of feathers upon you. You ducked and twirled and spun in the air, but a few feathers still caught on your arms and legs and cut slits before returning back to the hero.
"Not so fast now, hm?" he questioned, and you simple ignored his snarky comment before preparing more fire, this time shaped like arrows.
"The same old trick?" Hawks asked, and you let a small smile manifest on your mask behind the hood.
Not even close.
As he dodged the flaming arrows and turned back to you to grin, you flicked your right index finger. The arrows behind him turned, and pierced through the air as they made Hawks their target once more.
"Hey, wha-" veering out of the way last minute, one of the arrows of fire gently grazed his leg before dissipating into the air.
During his extremely short moment of confusion, you kicked him in the jaw with your foot, sending Hawks back into a building where he crash landed.
Breathing heavily, you flew a bit closer as blood dripped from several long wounds on both your arms and legs, falling to the ground below.
When there was no moment, you turned your back on the hero.
"You shouldn't do that," you heard, and a feather whizzed by your face, tearing through the side of your hood.
Your hair floated free for a millisecond, before you pulled the hood back onto your face and turned around.
What a sight to behold.
Behind you, on top of the building you slammed him into, was Hawks.
Bloodied, and covered in dust and scratched, he still stood strong and wielded the same two long, red feathers in both hands. Among the dust, his standing figure was clear as day and you couldn't help but admire his strength.
"You won't get rid of me that easily."
A blonde flash passed you, and your head turned to the side a second before your back collided with a building. Coughing, you looked up from between your lashes to see Hawks hovering above you, looking serious.
Feathers pinned your cloak on both sides.
Then, an excruciating pain stuck your back and you almost yelled out.
Two other feathers had pierced both your wings, pinning them to the building. Blood flowed steadily out of the wound, and you gritted your teeth against the intense pain as you struggled to free yourself from the hero's grasp.
"Yo, [v/n], time to go!" you heard and turned your head slightly to see Dabi disappear into a purple hole, half of his cloak singed. Behind him, Endeavor was burning brightly as he held chase, but stopped when he saw Dabi disappear. Then, the flame hero made his way towards you and Hawks.
You felt your back sinking into the building, and you knew that was Kurogiri's work.
Hawks' eyes widened, his pupils dilating.
Time seemed to slow as he made one last attempt at seeing under your dark, torn hood, but only caught a flash of color before you disappeared completely into the portal.
Or, to be more precise..
A flash of [h/c].
