Eva's POV.

"Mommy where are we going?"

I heard my daughter's voice filled with curiosity. I chuckled at her curious nature.

"You will see"

I said to her who was pouting. She looked at me and then huffed. I smile a bit.

"Let's play a game"

I suggested to her, She looked at me and clapped her hand in excitement.

"What?"

She asked looking at me with her green eyes.

"Let's count all the red things in the way. Whoever wins, will get a reward"

I said and she looked at me like she was thinking.

"Ok mummy let's play"

she said and jumped from my lap.

"This side is yours and this mine"

I said to her who hurriedly looked out the closest window. I chuckled at her eagerness. After a few minutes, we arrived at my mother's home.
I got out and put Isa on my hips.

"Mummy there were Umm 30 no no umm 35 red things"

She said and I chuckled at her.

"Ohh really on my side there were only 20 you won! "

I said making a sad face.

"yahhh!!! I won!!"

She shouted

"Mummy I want ice cream"

she said and I nodded at her.

As I went inside my mother was sitting on the sofa reading a book. She looked at me when she heard the door cracking voice.

"Ohh it's you and little Isabella"

she said getting up. I smiled at her and looked at my little daughter who was smiling at my mom too.

My daughter's charm can melt anyone's heart!

"Do you want anything, honey?"

My mom asks Isa who shoots her head no. Holding Isa's hand I went toward the sofa. I didn't want her to spend more time with my mom. She didn't say anything to her but whenever she used the sugarcoated word I was afraid.

We sat on the sofa and she was on my lap. Just then my phone buzzed. I picked up the call it was Alessa.

"Hello?  Yeah yeah, I'll be coming. hmm.... I'll be there then.. bye"

I hung up the call with a sing sigh. I have to buy a Wedding dress which will take hours and also have to meet my friends who will be in the cafe after a few minutes.

"What happened?"

My mother asked me raising her eyebrows.

"Umm, nothing just...."

I didn't know if I could tell her or not. She may say to buy the Wedding dress first and drop the plan of meeting her.
I looked at her and her face was saying it 'continue '

"I have to buy my Wedding dress and meet my friend too"

I said with a sigh.

"I don't know what to do first... it's already 11. She will be there in 15 minutes"

I said again.

I was ready for her announcement but then she said was unexpected.

"OK, you can go to your friends. I'll buy your Wedding dress "

she said and I looked up in pure disbelief. I want to argue to her that she didn't have to but then I don't have any other option and this idea suits me!
Before she changes her mind I stoop up.

"Mom this is the card and that's the shop's address "

I put it all on the table. I was feeling something weird as she didn't do what was expected. She is trying to help me! My gut feeling was saying something was suspicious but I ran toward my room to freshen up with Isa pushing my gut feeling.

"Mummy we are going to your friwend "

She said as we sat in the car.

"Hmm"

I said to her with a smile. After 10 minutes we were in front of the cafe.
There was she! Standing in on the gate. She looks stunning as always in a deep green dress.

As she spotted me she walked toward me and caught me in a bone-crushing hug.

"I miss you a lot"

she said with a full-blown smile.

"Me too"

I said like her and we broke into a smile. She looked back and Isa was standing looking around.

"Isabella "

she said and I frowned at her.

How does she know her?

I looked I'm confused and then Isa turned toward me.

"Mommy I was ice cream"

She demanded and I looked back. Holding her in my arms I turned towards Alessa who was looking at her in pure shock.

"You... mommy?"

She questioned.

"Let's go inside I'll explain to you"

I said because I didn't want to talk about it in public. As we sat on our restaurant seats she looked at me encouraging me to speak more.

"Ok... it's just I am marrying Alexander Knight"

I said to her whose jaw was on the ground.

"You are what ?"

She says dramatically. She was looking at me in disbelief when a waiter came and took out the order. While going he winked at me.

"Ev... are you sure?"

"Of course... I am"

I said why won't I be sure about the man I am marrying?

"Ev I mean he is so older than you"

She said and now I told her the whole story of how this was fixed and all!
She knows about my mother as I told you she was quite close.

"I am sorry for this Ev"

She said holding my hand.

"No, it's ok I am fine now... I don't see any harm. "

I said looking at Isa. As I looked at Isa I remembered my question.

"Umm, how do you know Isa?"

I asked her. She hesitated but then said

"Ummm Alexander's first wife and Isabella's mother is my cousin"

She said dropping a bomb on me.

"What?"

I whispered and yelled at her in pure horror! I  was shocked so shocked but then she said.

"Don't worry they aren't together now "

She said and I sighed in relief.

"She was a bitch ... she didn't deserve Isabella "

She said looking at my daughter who was playing with a cookie.

"Why are they separated?"

I ask. I didn't see any reason for this I mean they have a daughter then they must have saved their relationships. I was thinking but then my thoughts broke by her voice.

"Leave it! He will tell you himself. you are going to get married to the great ALEXANDER KNIGHT "

she said and sequel with joy. I smiled at her reaction, she was smiling like I had won the lottery.

"It's ok... it's not a big thing "

I shrugged.

"Big thing?? You are going to marry the richest man in America, the most demanding bachelor and you are saying it's not a big thing "

she said and my jaw dropped.

Most demanding bachelor!!

I don't like the last part for some reason. He won't be a bachelor for more now!

"Didn't tell me you don't know about it"

She said looking at me in horror.
I smile shyly. She shoots her head. After a few minutes of talking, we bid our farewell and then sat in the car.

"I am marrying THE ALEXANDER KNIGHT"

I wasn't knowing this piece of news. I know that he is rich but this much ... I wasn't knowing. I was thinking about what she said when my cell buzzed again. It Alexander. I picked up the call and the first thing he said was

"Where are you both?"

"In the car"

"When will you both come?"

He again asked. I rolled my eyes at her.

"In 10 minutes "

"Come fast"

he ordered and hung up.
