"Why you did that wife?"

As these words flew out of Alex mouth Eva's eyes narrowed in confusion. Alex watched her this act did he swear he founded her so cute but this cuteness was all faded..

No?

"What I did Xann?"

Eva asked still all unknown by the inner battle he was playing. Hearing the words Xann from the innocent faced girl in front if him he felt his inner crunching.

He remembered her calling him 'Xann' every damm time! And everytime that particular word made him feel almost loved.

But then her reality surrounded him. What she did! The betrayal she gave surrounded his mind and he found his almost melted heart becoming of stone all over again.

"What you did? Acting innocent? Huh?"

He hissed gritting his teeths. Eva's posture suddenly become staight seeing the hardness in his eyes instead of softness near her.

"Why are talking th-.."

"Are you anyhow in contact with Nick Miller?"

His this question made the environment shut. Eva's eyes went wide and heart started to bead furiously.

She already know how much he despite Nick anywhere near her and she will be a stupid to not understand this. that he never wanted her to talk to him.

She knew the very first time she talked to him. Actually he made her talk to him forcefully. She knew it will not end all smooth.!

"I-I.."

She knows lying at this point isn't a appreciating answer and telling the truth that too when he was holding her tightly by her waist, close enough that there heartbeat can be heard. His angry red eyes and there glint of dare to say lie
Wasn't making her say the truth.

She was stuck!

"I asked you something Eva"

Her heard snapped up hearing her name from his mouth.

Eva?

Wasn't that her name?

But that sound so unfamiliar from his mouth.

That was the moment she understand that gravity of the matter. She timidly looked up at him with hurt in them which give a hard tug to his heart. But all he wanted was her to tell the truth otherwise he will hurt her more!
He knew that!

"Yes"

The small whisper made him feel the taste to betrayal again. He felt like his heart stopped for a moment

Wait !that doesn't mean she is having anything with him!

His mind told him making him thinking otherwise but again his past made a entry there. Be remember how Layla use to meet her boyfriend of extra martial affair behind his back..and he use to trust her!

His jaw clenched at that mere thought.

"Why?"

"Huh?"

"I ASKED WHY EVA?"

He yelled losing his clam he removed his hand from her waist and detected himself from her. Missing the warmth near her she felt her eyes welding up.

"Aren't you aware of what your husband feel about this? Aren't you aware of how much I despite the fact that you talked to that shit that too behind my back ? That I hate when someone hide things from me?"

He asked looking at her with his red eyes. Her head hang low hearing him.. she know hiding things wasn't a great idea but the situation wasn't on her favor back then.

Nor they are now!

Alex said all this with taste to bitterness in his mouth. He clearly remember the look Nick Miller was giving to his wife at the party..

The look of love!

The damm boy was in love with his wife and hell his wife was meeting with him behind his back....without his acknowledge.

How did this sound?

He took a deep breath looking at her who started to live in his heart. Her silence wasn't settling well with him.

He clench his jaw and looked away from her. He didn't want to hurt her. But he know he will!

His anger isn't something this little girl should mess with

"H-He is in m-my college. We just talked"

Eva tried to tell him but the look he passed her was making her shutter. Hearing her he looked back at her with a pointed look.

One thing that Alexander Knight hate the most is lying. And right now according to him, his wife was lying to him....

"Shut up!don't you dare to lie!!"

He hissed narrowing his eyes at her. His tone made her shiver slightly. She looked up at him while a tear fall from her eyes.

He was so angry...so angry that she felt like she didn't even know him.

"You just talked? Yeah! You just talked while holding hands, laughing at each other forgetting the world knowing the fact very well that the person whom you belong hate this fact to his core!"

He yelled and she finched. His tone didn't have any softness in them like they use to have... his eyes..they didn't have any softness in them like they use to have.

And that Made her cry harder.

She felt weak at the moment hearing all his accusion to her. In this 4 month time span she depended herself on him too much that it hurt now seeing disbelieve in his eyes for her.

"Actually you love doing think behind my back or hiding them no?...just like you hided that fact that you meet with Layla before I introduced you?"

His tone was sharp and his gaze was narrowed like he was trying to look into her soul. Her eyes flew up at him and that moment she regretted her her thoughts of hiding things from him.

So they could not worry him much!

But look like her care turn into betrayal in a second by her one wrong decision.

She sighed feeling defeated. His this sentence made her think how wrong her action of care were. She wanted to explain herself but to whom?
Who didn't even asked her the reason and accursed her?

"We just meet once in a mall"

Eva murmured gaining courage. Hearing her he walked to her quickly and holdes her chin tightly in his grasp.

"Once? And in that one meeting she saw my daughter whom I was hiding all my life? And you didn't even thought to telling this to me. Why?"

He hissed gritting his teeths. His face was just a inch away from her. Earlier when he was this close to her she use to blush but right now the thing she felt was fear.

Pure fear.

Eva remember her mother slapping her when she use to hold her just like her Xann was holding her.

As soon as she registered his words she looked up. Her eyes held hurt In them.

What does he mean?

She never knew he was hiding Isa from her biological mother. As bitter as it sound it was the truth.

"I n-never knew t-that.."

She murmured looking staight into his eyes. Her tears fall from her eyes and she let them fall in front of him. She wanted him to know she was hurt.

His wife was hurt!

But to her bad her tears like always affected him but not that much. Today he was blinded with his anger. He was hurt by her and he was going to hurt her too!

"Yeah you didn't know!!you didn't know a single thing other then cheating no?"

Her eyes went wide and mouth parted.

Cheated?

She love him for god sake.!!

Why will cheat on him?

"C-Cheat?"

She stammered. More tears fall from her eyes at his this accusion

Seeing her this state he felt like a bitch but truth hurts....no?

But was this the real truth?

"Yes cheat! You were sending him money behind my back that too from my own card...you are brave just like her"

He laughed at the last but his words was anything but funny?

Money?

Sending him?

Who?

Which money?

"Were you going to run away just like Layla did? With your beloved boyfriend whom you were sending money frequently?"

Suddenly the air around then become more tensed. Her moment stop for a minute and she frozen hearing his words.

She slowly looked up at him and that moment she realized he never trusted her fully.

Was he just using her.?

"Who boyfriend Alexander?"

Wasn't it always xann ? Then why the fuck she was calling him Alexander?

He felt a familiar heart ache and he clench his jaw to control himself. His heart burnt at this thought. He holded her tightly and pulled her even more closer.

"Which boyfriend? The whom you are sending my money behind my back..The whom you were going to run away no?"

He said.

Her eyes snapped toward him and she listened his every word. Her heart felt Numb as her body. She clench her own jaw as the anger and hurt she have for him whom she love started to empower over her.

More tears pour from her eyes and she started to wiggle. Her touch around her started to hurt her...burn her.

Seeing her wiggling he pulled her more closer. His anger doubled by her denial to his touch.

His hurt, angry, disbelieve clouded his mind and he said the thing he wasn't planning to.

"Now you don't want my touch? Huh? Why? Were the money less than you expected that I gave to your mother?"

He said thr venomous words and she stopped wiggling. She looked at him in confusion and he felt a hare tug in his heart. Her face was all covered by tears and they were red and puffy.

His heart where Eva made a place for himself ordered him to hug her tightly and ask forgiveness for the stupid things he said.

But the heart where there still was ache of layla betrayal and still was sensitive warned him not to be soft.

"W-Which money Alexander?"

The damm Alexander!!

His heart when want to hurt Eva empowered seeing her distint behavior. He then smiled cruelly. The smile which was unknown to Eva.

The smile that send chills to her spine.

"Which money?"

He said and started to laugh. He wasn't being himself. His weakness was hit hard and he was behaving just the way his enemies wanted.

His hand then went to her arms. Sliding then he touched her bare hand and pulled her toward him. There nose touched and breath mingled.

Her tears stick face made him heart bleed but the want to hurt her the way he was.

Hurt her the way she did!

"The money by which I brought you from your mother. By the money your mother sold you off"

He said near her lips and a evil smile come to his lips. And then he get that.

He hurt her the way she did!

Her face went pale and she went immovable in his arms.

Sold?

He saw her face which losing all colour. Her eyes become lifeless and her eyes held hurt and betrayal.

But why the hell he felt his chest tighten?

Why he felt more guilty?

Why he wasn't able to see her face?

Why he didn't felt happy?

Why?

Not able to see her accusing eyes anymore he left her body and left the room but before looking all defeated and tired he murmured at her.

"I trusted you Eva but you broke it.! You decided this! You are responsible for this! You broke me and now I broke you. Now we both are destroyed"

Saying he left from there leaving a very broken Eva back.

Her heart broke knowing her mother sold her off...

Was she a thing that her mother did that?
Was she not a human that she had to endure all this?

Why her?

She cried even more thinking Alex brought her. Her whole relationship was a lie. Her marriage was a lie then?

She fall down feeling all energy drains. She felt like her life was lie. She thought her marriage was pure but how wrong...it was just a deal.

A deal where he brought a women and married her.

A bitter chuckled left her mouth and she lay her head on her knees which were close to her chest. She then murmured what she wanted him to hear.

"I never betrayed you Xann"
